Average hotel, average rooms, good location. Won’t comment on cleanliness, but a large rat ran across the pipe above our table while we were eating in the hotel dining room. My wife was not happy. She pointed it out to our server, who glanced up, then shrugged. She had clearly seen that before. We mentioned it again at checkout, where it again inspired minimal interest. There was live music on the wharf next door, late into the evening, very audible inside our room. Note also when you check in, in addition to the large deposit due on arrival, there is an immediate $250 “security fee,” another first for us. It was refunded eventually . . .

Hotel's Favourite
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room has nice view (upgraded courtesy of the hotel), ver clean, comfortable mattress and very courteous staff. The hotel is close to all the facilities. We enjoyed Our breakfast at the Londsdale market. The parking is $20 which is reasonable around this area. We will definitely come back.

This hotel is advertised as being a deluxe hotel. It is not. Nothing deluxe about this hotel at all. They told us if we come back in 4 months it will be renovated and deluxe but it is a massive, massive dump of a hotel with an appalling, disgusting bed that must be 15 years old at least. It is rank. I cannot find words to describe this rip off of a hotel. It is NOT deluxe at all. Advertising it is and then telling disappointed guests that it is going to be renovated soon does not cut it. That is false advertising. The room is dated, ugly, dark, and the bed, well, there are no words to describe how disgraceful the bed is but I have a picture I can hopefully attach here. It creaked every time a person moved on it. Really is a disgusting hotel. Parking was $29 a day and the restaurant, well, the least said about that the better. It was like a scene from Fawlty Towers. But the location was excellent.

The bed needs to be replaced - two dips on each side of the queen bed, it is just old. Noise was unbelievable, kids running between rooms, with doors slamming til 1 a.m. Started again at 4:30 a.m. No one from the hotel appeared to do a walk through to check on this issue.

The hotel shares parking with the market and the reception said they sometimes run out of parking. It’s overpriced for the dingy room you get. View of the skylight of the market. Market doesn’t actually have all food stalls open by 9. The positive:lots of restaurants, by the water (although you can’t do in the water)
