I've never stayed with this chain before and I won't be again. It was run down and not comfortable. There was a weird smell like smoke mixed with cleaning products. It's not an updated travelodge which it can use an unpdate. The room was not clean there was good stains on the desk/table and the washroom was not clean there was hairs on the tiles and just overall it did not feel clean. I have been at older hotels/motels in the past and it would still have that cleanliness but...

Bathroom was from 1950's doors don't close into standup shower. Fort to get into bathroom was extra small. Entire bathroom appeared to be built by an unprofessional handyman, with all aspects lacking. They charged almost $175.00 per one night. We chose this hotel for its low rate and convenient location ($50/night and 12 minutes drive to Downtown). Rooms are clean; appliances are outdated but in good condition (tv, heater, mini fridge) Water pressure and temperature are ok as well. Staff was very attentive; we arrived on December and they gave us a can of butter cookies as Xmas present....

I got there a few minutes before check in time. They were kind enough to upgrade my room to a king size since they weren't ready for me. I was pleasantly surprised since I was 20 minutes early and was not expecting any special treatment. The room itself was a little old as you could see from the scuff marks...
