stayed here in July 2021 because my husband was having surgery. The house was spotless and the room had a great view and was very quiet. The host Margaret was very personable, made an excellent breakfast. Her dog Jazz, a beaglier, was adorable and sweet.. Staying here for me was the best option. It was like home.

I had to visit my family in North Vancouver and due to Covid I decided to stay in safe, home environment rather then in hotel with elevators. I chose to stay at “Ocean Breeze” and I have to admit that was a very good choice. My room was nicely updated, the internet was the highest then in the hotels. Margaret was very friendly and she was preparing delicious breakfast every mornings. Place felt like home. Home is respecting all Covid restrictions such as social distance and disinfection. Absolutely great choice !!

Nice and clean rooms, all amenities and services as advertised, and friendly and accommodating host; we really enjoyed our stay at this place. Location is great for exploring the waterfront and entertainment of North Van by foot. While the (partial) view of the harbour and the city in great, this B&B is also in view and close proximity of the largest silo battery in Canada, so expect an industrial harbour environment and some associated noise with it.

This is the worst B&B we have ever stayed in. It was run down and pictures were not what was actually there. The price was way too much for what we got or were quoted. The woman running the place is overbearing and obnoxious. Her dog is cute, but barks when you are trying to sleep. The location is not an ocean view, but near huge grain storage silos and trains running day and night. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but first day food was mediocre and second day she did not want to serve us until 9:30 and we needed to head out earlier, so we found a nice coffee shop nearby instead. There were no common sitting areas, just a cramped dining table with broken chairs. The kitchen was filthy.

All our Guests staying during that time offered their testimony due to your unstable behaviour , you made ALL our Guests very uncomfortable and only out of respect to senior age we let you stay for those 2 long nights ; no matter how we tried to make you " mellow and stable " you forgot your your requests for midnight teas / cookies ? ( Tea and coffee makers are in your room and you knew it ) ; also you are responsible for braking dinning room chair ; I feel sorry for other establishments who accepted your reservations ;

Consider staying elsewhere if you plan to work from home. Long-term stay, had agreed to an "all-inclusive" rate, to later be charged for "excess usage" when our term was completed. Not sure the point of advertising all-inclusive to later deduct what you choose from our deposit. Also not sure why it's advertised for business stays if there's going to be a limit on hydro use, may be better for those who don't work from a computer... Even then, I'm not sure who would be happy with that place, there is also something very wrong with the kitchen sink, we viewed the place beforehand and thought it was a stinky tenant but that was definitely not the case as the horrible smell never went away, with the suite being so small you could only escape it by being in the bedroom which was a bit of a disaster when you were hoping to use the area as a home office! Needless to say we are very happy to be out of that place!

WRONG SITE for your comment as you didn't stay in " Ocean Breeze "; you stayed in self contained spacious 860 sq 1 bedroom city townhouse on 2 levels with 2 bathrooms , newer complex ; sink ? if something is wrong you should contact landlord who was available and practically lives " next door "; you stayed in the apartment for 4 months , we did see each other few times and we did communicate often as yo was extending your stay each month for additional month ( ? ) ; what was wrong could be fix in no time ; average / regular usage of utilities based on double occupancy/ time of the year are included however if the amount of usage is excessive over few hundreds dollars then they have to paid accordingly by tenant ;

A recent three day stay in North Vancouver turned into a lovely get-away. Margaret, the proprietor was the perfect hostess and I felt more at home than out of town. She welcomed me on my arrival with a tour of my choice of room as a couple of very nice suites were still available. I chose the Suite Romantica; the bathroom was the deciding factor with its walk-in shower and connecting huge soaker tub. We had a chat and a glass of wine while I checked in. Her freshly cooked, made to order breakfasts were delicious. Ocean Breeze is a peaceful place and has wonderful charm and character.

Margaret was a wonderful host who prepares some delicious breakfasts. Her little dog, Jazz, was a welcome surprise since we had to leave our own dog at home. Ocean Breeze is a brisk 15-minute walk from the Lonsdale Quay Market and the Seabus, and that made it super easy to get around using transit.

We had a very nice four night stay. Our host Margaret was accommodating and gracious, she let us have our pick of the available rooms at check-in. Great breakfasts with friendly conversation. Location is convenient to the Lonsdale area and is safe and quiet. Room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and provided a good sleep each night. The dog welcomed us whenever we came in and was fun to play ball with. A nice change from the typical hotel stay. If we travel to Vancouver again, we will definitely stay there, and do recommend to others. There are stairs to navigate, but they weren’t a problem for us.

Unique, charming, friendly. My partner & I enjoyed staying at the property with host Margaret who treated us like family. Clean and tidy with nice comfortable beds and views from balcony. Easy walk to local brewery and shops, about 12 min walk to the Seabus. This place makes a nice change from regular expensive hotels in Vancouver and will make for more interesting memories. We enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was fine. However, there were some problems. First. there were 49 steps to our room and no elevator or anyone to assist with our luggage. We are elderly and had a difficult time with all the steps so we just pulled items from the trunk of the car as needed. Secondly. the owner although pleasant was a mother hen. She constantly watched and commented on every step we made which made us uncomfortable. Lastly, breakfast was very crowded with no menu choices. Our stay was just okay at best
