The room was clean but had a very strong bad perfume smell that we had to open windows. The weather was super cold, we preferred to freeze than inhale the really bad strong perfume smell. The receptionist was very hard to understand and she was rude like in a hurry to get rid of you. Didn’t explain anything. We just felt rushed to go to our room. It’s super old and overall doesn’t worth the money you pay. But the room was clean.
30min drive from Vancouver Airport. Was allowed to checking early at 10am vs 4pm. Microwave oven, room WiFi, Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge available. No bedroom slippers or bath robes. Chinese restaurant located on site. Free coffee at lobby.
Just checked out after a 2 night stay. Our room was gross and judging from reviews on other sites the management don’t care. The bathroom had mold and grime on the ceiling and smelt moldy. Long hair on the floor was a nice touch. The rusty toilet roll holder would have been better place in the grottiest public bathroom. The net curtains were full of mold, a rip and a lovely blood stain. We were out yesterday from 10 - midnight and found our door open!! The housekeeper didn’t take the time to close it. Luckily nothing was taken. Reported to the manager but really that’s very bad. Don’t stay there
Dusty. Old Spill on floor. When called to move to another room they did not move me. Spot cleaning with nothing but a rag and a bit of water. If there's an alternative, take it. I wont' be staying at this hotel again.
It’s more like a motel than a hotel. Negatives- Cleanliness or there lack of! When I shook out the duvet to check for bugs, a ball of matted hair fell out of the duvet. Hair on the tiles in the shower, coffee stains around the Kurig, the floor hadn’t been swept or mopped and the tv remote held together with tape. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable.
I have stayed at this hotel in the past with satisfactory experience. We paid C$188/night for a room with a fridge that was so loud I had to unplug it to sleep, lighting that either flickered unbearably or worked intermittently, a shower that didn’t work properly, fluctuating water temperature when showering, bedding the wrong size for the bed, and more (or less). My repeated requests for repair/replacement resulted in no correction.
I would not stay here again! Burnt Food was under the stove burners, coffee machine did not work at all. 2 of the 3 TV's required screwing around to get them to work. Floors were dirty. Generally the room was not worth the $375.00 per night cost!
My wife stepped in a pile of someone else's toenail clippings. She had to pull them out of the bottom of her foot. The front desk would only say that the cleaning staff would clean it up tomorrow, and would not even give us a broom to do it ourselves.
Ok I woke up to an ant infestation they were in our towels , sink , garbage and even in our luggage . So when I went to the front desk to ask for new linens and for somone to come look at the state of the room I also said I don’t feel I Should have to pay to stay somewhere where I have to clean the room while I’m in it , also I don’t want to have to take Ants home in my luggage. They never came to my room to check , never offered me a new room to get ready in I mean check out is at 11 but I’m getting up and getting ready for my day and there’s ants everywhere on my counters like they could’ve at least offered me another room to get ready in I had to ask for new towels and when I asked for them she put them on the front desk counter where everybody touches that checks in so that was great, when I was trying to ask for her name so that I could make a complaint to Ramada Canada she was ignoring me she wouldn’t look up I had to ring the customer service bell in order for her to look up at me and when she finally did she said WHAT!! so rudely , when asking to talk to a manager she just gave me a card that has no name on it and told me to call back at 11 the next day. They never apologized they never offered any compensation instead they were rude and the only apology I got was from one lovely cleaning lady who apologize for her experience which I was thankful for but I am honestly so astounded at the level of customer service at this location and I have always stayed at Ramadas it sucks that they have somebody like this representing their brand . Her name is Sukhmen at least that’s what she wrote on the business card I asked for ….. So everyone knows double check your rooms when you stay here…
My boyfriend and I stayed the night here August 22nd. We’re on the first floor with the outside door facing the main parking lot, and our door is completely unsealed and has about a 1cm gap all the way around. If someone is having a conversation outside, it sounds like they’re right in the room with us. Every single time a vehicle started or honked it sounded like we were right beside them outside. Not to mention there’s rats running around outside that could almost definitely make their way into one of the unsealed doors. Neither of us slept, and we won’t be coming back.
