Staff are great and always felt they were there to help and support your needs. Check in was quick and efficient even thought they were busy. We arrived in our room and found the bathroom was not very clean, with stray hairs in the sink and on the counter. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and food was good. Staff were very accommodating and flexible in allowing us to eat in the lower dining area so we could watch the World Juniors Hockey, which was great. Fitness centre needs work. 6 pieces of cardio equipment and only one was in working order. One elliptical had an out of order sign on it, both bikes were impossible to use, as handle bars and seats were seized or broken and couldn't be adjusted. One elliptical made a clunk sound at every step, which was extremely loud. One treadmill was being used and the other was so old and squeaked, and not sturdy enough for running. Very few weights and no space to do anything. Four people in there was over crowded and uncomfortable as we all waited like vultures for the one working treadmill. Towel basket was full, but no clean towels available, although when I called the lobby, they did bring two towels up for me.I wouldn't even go back to try the next day and had to skip my workout. And finally its great to have gated parking, felt comfortable leaving my vehicle overnight. The pub attached to the hotel turns into a huge nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights. Noise didn't bother us, but i can imagine if you were staying on that side of the hotel, it would be loud. Overall we were happy with our stay, but some things would need to be improved for me to return.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking time and writing a review on your recent visit to the hotel. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and also enjoyed the Wild Fig restaurant. Your comments are well taken and will be addressed. We have all of our fitness room equipment checked on a regular basis. All of them are in working condition except for one elliptical for which the part is on order. Bikes and treadmills are new in fact two of them are only few months old. In any event we have again have them looked after to make sure they are in working. We have also addressed your comments about housekeeping concerns with the relevant department. Please do accept my sincere apologize for all the inconvenience caused. Once again thank you for sharing your observations and suggestion and we look forward to welcome you back on your next trip to Coquitlam. Kind regards, Pasha Sheikh General Manager

We are a part of Coquitlam express hockey, and this hotel is a great location and very close to the hockey rink we take our son to. The location is very central to everything without being in crowded downtown Vancouver. Last time we were here they did not have the restaurant up and running because of covid 19 but the Wild Fig Restaurant is very good we are so glad they had it open. Hopefully it opens for lunch soon too! They also have vegan options on the menu which is rare. The lobby is beautiful with the high ceilings. The rooms were very clean and our view was great except we couldn’t see too far because of the fog. The hospitality at this hotel is exceptional. We had a great time chit chatting with Herveen at the front desk, she was very helpful in describing where to go downtown Vancouver and what to see. Me and my husband love to exercise and she recommended the Coquitlam crunch and wow what a workout! Amazing property and amazing staff. Keep up the good work!
Laura and the family.

I worked with Chantelle Schiller, of Executive Plaza Hotel Metro Vancouver, to arrange an all day offsite meeting for a group of Business Executives. This was short notice, and with it being such a quick turnaround Chantelle could not of made it any easier than she already did. Her attention to detail was unlike any other; working magic to ensure all dietary needs were met, and that all AV and setup needs were taken care of, I can not thank her enough for making this a stress free experience. The day went off with-out a hitch, even with us having more attendees than expected and Chantelle making sure it all worked out in the end. Feedback from attendees - they will be back for sure! Thank-you Chantelle!

Jacuzzi turned itself on at 1:30 am sounding like a vacuum cleaner in the room. It did it a further three times preventing sleep. Front desk told me it was a self cleaning function - even though the tub was empty! Terrible hotel - unbelievable that they put people in rooms where sleep is impossible. Avoid like the plague.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking time and writing a review on your recent stay at the hotel. I am very disappointed to hear that you did not have a good night sleep because of Jacuzzi jets. It is true that it does starts on its own after 10 or 15 minutes of usage when there is no water in the tub. However, it should not keep coming back on unless we try to shut off by pressing the button as it goes into reset mode and start cleaning again. Our maintenance person is looking into this to avoid the same issue for our future guest. We are also renovating our jetted tubs with soaker tubs with more modern look. I hope you will consider this as an isolated occurrence and will not deter you from future visits. Once again please accept my sincere apology an and do look forward to welcome you back in near future. Kind regards, Pasha Sheikh General Manager

We have stayed at this property many times in the last few years. We were always pleased with the rooms, the staff and the perks (free breakfast and free parking) plus often a room upgrade.

Imagine our surprise when we checked in tonight (March 11th) to find that there was no free parking, no free breakfast and, of lesser concern, no room upgrade AND the price per night had gone up!! My husband had stayed at this hotel not two weeks earlier and had received a free breakfast with his room. He did not drive so free parking was not important on that occasion.

I book through Expedia and had chosen this hotel for not only its proximity to our family whom we visit, but for what we had always felt was its excellent value.

We will be staying elsewhere from now on. To his credit, when I expressed my concerns at checkin, the front desk gentleman offered complimentary parking, which we appreciated. Otherwise, we are very disappointed that our loyalty could not continue to be recognized. Hopefully others will not make the same mistake.

Well now... aren't we a bunch of lucky people to have come across such a gem . The sky train is a ten minute walk from us and there are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from including the Wild fig for breakfast and Insadong for dinner. The executive was amazing from the front desk smiles to the great breakfast. Most breakfast only give you a few pastries or cereal but at the executive we got to have a full breakfast of eggs and toast. Cal the security guard greeted us with such warmth every time we walked through the front doors. Beau and Harvin made sure we were well taken care of especially when we needed to get directions printed out and had silly questions since we are from the island and hardly get out of the house. Sarah from the restaurant was nice and quick with our breakfast and very friendly. We do wish the gym was open though but with these covid rules what can you do! Thanks for all your hospitality. We will definitely be back.

After driving north from Los Angeles and staying in a couple of nice little motels, we stopped here for two days. The front desk agent, Herveen, noticed we were exhausted. She checked us in quickly and efficiently. After a couple of questions were answered regarding dining options and surrounding area, Herveen gave us our room keys and mentioned she had upgraded our room to a beautiful little suite.
The suite offered an incredible view, had two beautiful balconies that were too cold and windy to use and a relaxing bathtub for my wife enjoyed the two days we stayed there. It was a perfect end to a wonderfully long and perfect vacation.
Herveen was a fantastic host and we'll return to stay again on our next trip to the Vancouver region.

I stay at the Executive regularly when I need to be in Vancouver for work. I started staying there because of its convenient location. Now it's my favourite choice.
The staff are welcoming, very professional and always happy to help. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The Wild Fig is a delicious place to eat for dinner and their breakfast buffet couldn't be better!
Oh! and if you're there Monday through Thursday, they have complementary massages that you can book. Such a treat after a day of meetings or needing to travel on the ferry.
I'm back there next week and know it always feels like I'm coming home.

My wife and I stayed the Executive Plaza while in Vancouver to attend the Coldplay concert last Friday. We spent 2 nights 3 days during our visit. The front desk and in particular Kal who acts as Security and a Concierge were amazing. Kal was fantastic providing helpful recommendations for attractions and venues to visit nearby. In particular the info on how to take the Sky Train from the hotel which was a 5 minute walk was on point and saved us money for cabs or Ubers.

The hotel itself is more of a high-end business hotel. There seemed to be a conference when we arrived on the Thursday. The front desk people were very professional and courteous. The hotel is very well kept and has an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. We stayed in a one bedroom King which was very spacious, with a comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. It also has a high end restaurant called the Wild Fig which is immaculate. The one thing I suggest or recommend they do is upgrade their toilet. Although very clean, the toilet is very low from the floor and on the small side. I'm 6'1" so it was a little uncomfortable at times. Otherwise a great hotel to stay.

I would recommend this hotel if you visit Vancouver. You won't be disappointed.
