Very welcoming experience with excellent staff who look for ways to help. Clean comfortable rooms with great views. Good restaurant/bar. Chicken tacos were fantastic and the bar staff were friendly. Great place to staff if you need to get to Simon Fraser University. Also close to the sky train.

I stayed here one night in a Superior King room. Wow what a great view from the room!! I had requested a higher floor and got a room on the 10th floor! A corner room , which was nice because it had windows around most of the room. It had a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The bed was comfy. It had a bar fridge, and TV and free Wifi. The staff at the front desk were very nice. The sky train is very close, and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from if you want to eat out. A handy wine and beer store is just outside the hotel, and the Lougheed mall is with in walking distance. As long as you keep the balcony door closed the room is quite sound proof to the outside traffic and skytrain. The only reasons I give this this hotel a 4 star is because the windows were dirty , and one of the curtains was torn, and it would have been nice to have a free bottle of water. But otherwise it was a great hotel to stay at , and I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed the Executive Plaza while in Vancouver to attend the Coldplay concert last Friday. We spent 2 nights 3 days during our visit. The front desk and in particular Kal who acts as Security and a Concierge were amazing. Kal was fantastic providing helpful recommendations for attractions and venues to visit nearby. In particular the info on how to take the Sky Train from the hotel which was a 5 minute walk was on point and saved us money for cabs or Ubers. The hotel itself is more of a high-end business hotel. There seemed to be a conference when we arrived on the Thursday. The front desk people were very professional and courteous. The hotel is very well kept and has an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. We stayed in a one bedroom King which was very spacious, with a comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. It also has a high end restaurant called the Wild Fig which is immaculate. The one thing I suggest or recommend they do is upgrade their toilet. Although very clean, the toilet is very low from the floor and on the small side. I'm 6'1" so it was a little uncomfortable at times. Otherwise a great hotel to stay. I would recommend this hotel if you visit Vancouver. You won't be disappointed.

Exceeded my expectations in all areas! The staff was exceptional and we enjoyed our stay. We were hard to accommodate for several reasons but the staff really bent over backwards to help us. Hotel is beautiful, room very comfortable, and the 24 hr room service was fast! Food was good and the cocktails were delicious. The pool and hot tub are in a great location and check out was a breeze. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL. We had a booking for this hotel and my child dislocated his shoulder and we were not able make our reservation. The hotel charged for the stay anyways - despite their being a WAITLIST for room. When asked to speak to a supervisor with the customer service person named Diana - I was ASSURED repeatedly that Sam the sales manager would return my call - I have not received a call back despite several messages having been left and my credit card was charged for the stay.

I chose this venue because it was close to a friend’s home. I had organized a conference in the hotel years ago & had found the hotel excellent in every way. Our friend is elderly and vulnerable. We needed her to be out of her home for two days in order to get rid of an infestation of mice. We hired a homehelper to be with her 24/7. The hotel did absolutely everything to make her stay exceptional: set a special wheelchair accessible table, attended every need impeccably. The staff were warm, caring, flexible and highly professional. Superb service.🙏😎

The hotel is close to a SkyTrain station so that's nice but I found their housekeeping was very lacking. The baseboards beside the beds were non-existent, there were coffee stains on the counter in the bathroom and the coffee pot had old coffee in it still. Really makes you wonder how well the rooms are cleaned. Buffet breakfast for $15 was alright but definitely wasn't anything amazing. The staff were very pleasant and helpful though so that was a plus, the pool, hot tub, steam room and fitness centre were nice to have. All in all, I won't book at an executive plaza hotel again. I could get a "lower" end hotel for a better price, free breakfast and is cleaned much better.

Everything at the hotel is fine. Rooms were clean, oddly large tub was difficult to get in and out of for a shower. Great parking with reasonable rate Normally this would be 4 stars except for the sky train noise made for difficult sleep.

Stayed January 13 & 14 for a conference. Room 914 (two queens). The room was very clean, bed and 4 pillows super comfortable. Ice machines are only on 9, 7, 5 and 3. Bar fridge is very cold. There was a musty smell coming from the AC unit - maybe should be cleaned. The food in the restaurant downstairs is excellent ($$$$) but there are many restaurants in the area including The Taphouse next door. Swimming pool and hot tub are closed during the winter months. Staff were very friendly. Recommend!

I just got married on Saturday, and we blocked off a number of rooms at a special rate for our friends and family to book at the executive. I also booked myself a penthouse room for our wedding back in August. My new husband and I showed up at 1 am after our wedding, to check in - and they put us in the most standard, basic crappy King room. When i called down to complain, the man at the desk told me that they didnt have any other rooms available, and no mgmt on site for me to talk to. this was our wedding night, and every one of our guests were in nicer rooms than us. He called back up 15 mins later and told me miraculously there was another room available if iwanted to go check it out - i did, and the room smelt like mold/mildew. I returned to our room, extremely upset and disappointed on my wedding night. The next morning, i called down to talk to a manager and there still wasnt one on site. I spoke to a lady at the desk that said she would comp our room if it were up to her, but couldnt - but could reduce our rate. and would get a manager to call me that afternoon. That was Oct 9th - it is now Oct 13th and i STILL have not heard from management. We could have booked all of our guests into a different hotel, and we should have. What an extremely disappointing stay at the Executive, on what should have been a perfect night. What is the point in reserving a room, and getting the confirmation email - if the hotel wont do their part by actually putting that room aside? They charged for penthouse, but put me in a standard room. We will not be returning to the executive, and we will certainly be telling everyone we know to stay away as well.
