After leaving the Comfort Inn down the street. I ended up here.
Dated but clean. 10X cleaner the the Comfort Inn.
Drive up to room. TV. Don't expect fancy marble. Did the job.
You can park at the front door, room for a trailer if need be. Owner was nice.

We were in Dryden to work at the recent Quarter Horse show and were put up at the Hide Away Motel. We were hesitant at first since we had never stayed there and have had some bad experiences with roadside motels. We were pleasantly surprised at the rooms and very happy with the customer service we received while there. When we checked into the room the gentleman that greeted us was very helpful and explained to us what all comes with the room. We had water, apple juice and apples in our room every morning. We didn't get to use the continental breakfast because we were up and gone before it started but we did get to order the free pizza from Dominos that was included in the room. It was so nice to get back from working at the horse show and the staff had ordered the pizza and placed it in our room for us. We also thought it was a nice touch to have a picnic table and a bonfire outside that we could use as well as a barbecue. We didn't get a chance to use these amenities but we certainly thought they were a nice touch. With all the choices of chain hotels out there it is hard to compete but his motel was definately better than staying at a chain. You just don't get service like that in those places. I would highly recommend staying there when in or travelling through Dryden.

The HideAway is a pleasure to stay overnight or for the week. The owners have taken great care to provide clean upgraded rooms with all the necessary amenities (coffee, fridge, flat screen TV,nice furniture etc.)There is some highway noise but that's to be expected at a roadside motel. This is a good place to land.

Decor is very dated (dark red shag carpet) and room chairs were very uncomfortable (sit down and feel like you’re going to hit the floor). Bathroom light / fan made a loud buzzing noise so it was easier to just sit and do your business in the dark. Fridge was open and turned off when we arrived so we had to cool it down before we could use it for anything. Non-smoking room that smelled of cigarettes when we walked in. Newly renovated tub and shower, but the shower needed instructions on how to use it.

Was somewhat disappointed upon entering the room. Appearance wise, it looked cosy.
But the room had an overbearing smell of cleaners mixed with years of smoke and whatever’s.
Turned the heat off and opened the window to let it cool down and air out a bit.
Upon return from dinner, the window had been closed in my absence. Then noticed little signs posted about. (See Photos)
Inn keeper, want to improve? Get rid of that old carpet. It’s filthy and it stinks. And the flowers, although a nice touch, could use some washing as well. Extremely dusty.

The bed was clean and soft.

Clean, nice staff, pet friendly, kitchenette in room, nice television, beds were comfortable, cute updated bathroom. Room was a tad small but what do you really need. The grounds were nice, a few games available, horseshoes etc. Bbq area out back as well. Would stay again, price was right!

After a long drive we stopped at the Hide Away Motel in Dryden to stay the night. We had a warm welcome by Erwin and Geesje the dutch owners and felt at home inmediately. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you can wish. In fact we we're planning to stay just one night but ended up staying 3 nights enjoying the motel, his surroundings and the nice atmosphere. We're sure be back one day at this Motel.

Hi, As memory serves the Inn will allow the 2 dogs. (We have stayed thee with our Golden Retriever.) The Dryden Regional Health Centre is 5kms away. Tripadvisor will not allow the posting of urls. I suggest you contact the Inn directly to determine rates, etc.
