This facility certainly has some good points, room was spacious and the bathrooms well done, the view off of patio was outstanding over looking the lake. It seems that the finer details with higher-priced establishments such as this were overlooked. There is no room service provided such as bed making or replacement of towels and surface cleaning looks good as long as you don't lose something behind the nightstand or under the bed. Small things like a reasonable size bar of soap kleenex and another small items
are not provided as would be and other luxury hotels and villas. Pillows could certainly use an upgrade. And as mentioned buy another contributor it is tough to sleep at night with the air conditioning on it does sound like jet taking off.
On the other hand the owners were very nice and when asked provided whatever we needed.

Morning sunshine streams onto the balcony perfect, for an early morning beverage, while watching the boats on the lake.
We booked a suite with 2 queen beds. The queen bed was one of the most dreamy comfortable beds I have slept in in all my travels. Extra pillows were provided in the closet. The living room couch and chairs were cosy and comfortable.
There is a large bar fridge. The coffee maker has amenities.
The outdoor balcony was shared with another suite/room? which appeared to have a BBQ at their disposal. The bathroom was clean and new and had all amenities. We unfortunately experienced a large maintenance issue and management was quick to move us into a room with a king bed of equal or better value, although the fridge was half the size.
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Cilegia Villa and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We stayed at this resort on our way to kelowna. The view of the osoyoos lake from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms are aesthetically designed and well maintained.
Ciliegia villa is a setup run by a couple who stay in the property and they take care of all the requirements of the guest on request . This property is an ideal retreat for a nice calm retreat in midst of nature. Would be ever ready to come back to this property on first available opportunity.

We read the reviews about this place before booking but the only good thing about this place is the view from hotel.
We booked a suite with kitchen but when arrived, we realized that it's a basement unit of a house, which was not disclosed of prior to the trip (I even called the office prior). The room is very far from the pictures shown from their website. But this is just the start of a bad experience.
We checked into the room and then left to explore the city. When we came back to the room at night, we found no toilet paper anywhere in the room. Called the front desk and left a message but no one came to us. Very very disappointed. We stayed for two nights and our washroom were never cleaned and waste bin has never been emptied. Not to mention the toilet paper roll never showed up.... Our daughter had nose bleed on the second night and we were running around trying to find more tissues because we almost used up the paper we got from our car... We had to use baby wipes in the end. The wipes and baby diapers + never emptied garbage bin means we had to leave some waste on the floor- around toilet, not like we are leaning it all over the place- guess what! The manager called us the day after we checked out and COMPLAINED about the "mess" we made!!!! I can not believe my ear when I heard he said "you must be like this at your house"!!!
Other things like: toast in the breakfast room has long past it's expiry date, the spider webs on the wall with LOTS of bugs on INSIDE the room are just minor things besides the very rude manager.

My husband and I have just returned from Osoyoos where we spent two nights at the Ciliegia Villa which is located at 12795-87th Street on the outskirts of Osoyoos.

This new property is located overlooking an 11 acre orchard down to the lake and all the way up the other side. A lovely view from each balcony. There is no pool and no water access and I would not consider this a place for children. This is more of a adult getaway and relax place.

The Villas consist of five units though only four units are available on a nightly basis. The fifth unit (in the middle) is used as the office and as the Continental Breakfast area because it is equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The Continental Breakfast was fresh from their orchard fruit (in season). We had apricots, plums, cherries as well as cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, coffee and tea. There is a BBQ on the top observation deck along with a table and 8 chairs. Utensils were available in the office/breakfast area.

The rooms are all East facing and overlooking the orchards and lake and hills in the distance. Every evening my husband and I would return from our winery tours with a bottle of wine and sit on the deck and just enjoy the quiet and beauty of the orchard and lake views.

Each room has Air Conditioning (of course), black-out curtains (great for sleeping in), large wall mounted TV, Queen bed with a sitting area that has two chairs and a coffee-type table. One one wall is a computer area. The bathroom was large and lovely with a large jacuzzi-type tub, a walk in shower. There was no fridge in our room; but everyone has access to the office area and the ice maker there.

This is a new property so there are a few things that probably will be completed in the off season such as finishing the landscaping in the parking area and on the orchard side.

All in all we loved Ciliegia Villa and look forward to returning in the near future.

Sincerely,

Spent a night here with the wife while visiting wine country and I was pleasantly surprised with this gem. Beautiful and quite property with a stunning view. The property itself was quite modern and newly renovated, you could tell the owners really take pride in it as it is beautiful. As for location it was about a 5 minute drive from downtown and it was really quite, would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

At first glance Ciliegia Villa is beautiful and elegant. At second glance it has all the charm of a Howard Johnson's. While the room was immaculately clean it lacked any sort of charm or personality that you'd expect to find at a B&B. The owner seemed completely uninterested in any hospitality. Her young daughter however was quite sweet. Breakfast consisted of mini boxes of frosted flakes and still half frozen terribly unappealing muffins and scones. The refrigerator was stocked with expired juice and the fresh fruit consisted of a small bowl of cherries from their orchard. On the topic of the orchard: Approximately every 2 to 3 minutes cannon fire would go off apparently in an attempt to scare the birds off the cherry trees. This went on from 6:00a.m. until 10:00 at night. There was no way to really relax and unwind with this going on. My husband and I just had to laugh and couldn't wait to get out of there and on the way with the rest of our trip. It was a pretty disappointing experience overall. It does get an A+ for cleanliness and a comfortable bed. The jetted tub was nice too.

Ciliegia Villa, with its particularly difficult to remember name (it means cherry in Italian) has potential to be a great small hotel. Some things to attend to would be more towel hangers in the bathroom, closer attention to food supplies and cleaning up dirty dishes in the common room and making sure the internet works in all of the rooms.

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and the suites with a private balcony are spacious and offer a great place to enjoy the afternoon and evening. The whirlpool is almost a hot tub.

After reading such great reviews about this place, we were very disappointed. First of all, we get there after driving all day and the office is locked. There was a note on the door to go to the owners house next door. She was very slow about checking us in, like she had never done this before. She did a horrible job with keeping secure credit card information: wrote it on a piece of paper to do later. We were shown to our rooms which turned out to not be in the main hotel but on the bottom level of their house. The rooms we rented were suites which were very spacious, but one was much bigger than the other. The owners above must have had company because we could hear everything, very loud. Lights were very dim to be able to read, kitchen in the suite was filthy. Dish towel had holes, toaster dirty, etc. So gross we wouldn't cook a thing!

The place reminded us of being in Italy because of the views and remoteness from the town ( not too far away). Just disappointed as we were hoping for much more.
