This is a very clean motel with nice rooms and a comfortable bed. The bedroom is in back and is a separate room from the living and kitchenette area. This is good because the motel is on a major road that trucks use. The noise is manageable at night because traffic becomes very light and you can close the door to the bedroom.

After reading some of the reviews I was worried. Needn't have been, the rooms were spotless, basic but had what was needed. The guy was really helpful. The wifi was very poor but that's not a problem as we've got a great wifi service in The Owl pub :-) Beds are clean and firm, wall mounted flat screen tv, fridge etc all good.

July 1st 2013 we stayed here. We never stay at the money grab motels. We look for economy and a bed. The Boundary Motel is a good choice while in Osooyoos. Nice, clean, and quiet. A/C works well. Good amenities.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying here for a night. We had planned on camping in Osoyoos for 3 or 4 days but unfortunately no campsites where available. It was getting late in the day so we decided to get a room for the night before continuing on our journey. She had noticed the Boundary earlier so we stopped. When we asked about availability we were told that they were full but that there was 1 room in the back. It was their sons room but he had moved on and now it was for rent. I was a bit apprehensive, but okay. Glad we did. The room was so comfortable. The bed and pillows where unbelievably comfortable. Now we have stayed at many hotels, some much more upscale and expensive then the Boundary. But believe me not one of them has ever match the comfort and hospitality. My wife's comment was "that was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in and the best sleep I have had in a long time". I most certainly agree with her. And the beautiful flowers and grounds. To the owners I have to say Bravo!! If we're ever through Osoyoos again we will definitely be back for another stay.

Checked on trip advisor for a decent place to stay. Reviews checked out, when we got to the room we realized we got duped. Place was horrible, the furniture looked like it was picked up from the side of the road. The bedroom was so small only enough room for the bed. A small 10" tv. Pull out bed was probably the first one ever made. Felt like i was in a crack house.

We stayed at this little motel twice this summer (July/August) passing through Osoyoos and were nothing but impressed on both occasions. The owner at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hanging flower baskets outside each room were beautiful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were allowed to check in early and also upgraded to a kitchenette at no charge on our first stay. The room was large and would have been perfect for an extended stay as it had all the basic necessities (pots/pans/dish towels etc). Our second time through Osoyoos the following month we were moving long distance from the coast to the Kootenays and upon booking this property the owner bent his rules and allowed us to book in for one night only (Saturday) of the long August weekend (generally they do not rent rooms for a single night on long weekends). Again we were allowed to check in early and the room although not an upgrade this time was extremely clean and comfortable. Although the highway passes by just out front the noise is very minimal and so we had no trouble at all getting a restful night's sleep. The Boundary Motel is truly a hidden gem of Osoyoos and we will be sure to patronize this establishment again should we ever be in need of a room in this part of the world.

After staying in a couple of less-than-wonderful old motels in a similar style on my BC roadtrip I was a little disappointed as I drove up. Then I saw the flowers everywhere and realized that this particular motel -- while old-fashioned -- was being maintained with tender loving care. The owner was friendly, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the air conditioning (in the bedroom only) worked perfectly, and the kitchenette was, again, clean, in good repair and well-stocked. The location is a little out of the way, but perfect if you're going to visit the Desert Centre (highly recommended).

My wife and I recently sojourned at the Boundary Motel in Osoyoos, BC. This is what I would call a "retro" motel (although we had a 42" Panasonic LCD TV on the wall). The owners are very meticulous about cleanliness and the motel had fresh paint everywhere. There are two new Cuisinart BBQ on a nice green and healthy lawn (with a small pound and fountain) and 4 large picnic tables for your party. Flowers, lots of flowers everywhere and they look beautiful. Best of all, BIRDS. The grounds are literally invaded by all kinds of song birds. Residents include California Quails, Northern Flickers, Mourning Dove, Bullock's Oriole, Yellow Warblers and many more. My wife even spotted a rare Lazuli Bunting from the bedroom window. Speaking of bedroom, the bed was super comfortable and we slept like babies. All in all, I think the owners of the Boundary Motel are doing a very good job at making sure your stay is enjoyable. It is not fancy by any means but it is cozy, comfortable and you cannot find better rates anywhere else in sunny Osoyoos, British Columbia.

The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything I needed.

The grassy area with the picnic tables was a perfect spot to relax in the shade. The area also has BBQs for visitor use.

I would absolutely stay here again.

First things first.
We booked this motel specifically because the website states the motel is one minute from downtown which is not true. It is maybe one minute from a gas station and a convenience store but is nowhere as close to being downtown as it portrays itself to be.
Secondly it advertises itself as being 2 minutes from the border and this again is not true.
We wanted a motel that was conveniently located and this place is not. The website's statements are simply not true and this was misleading advertising.
Not a good start.

The place looks okay from the outside however when we walked into our room we were disappointed and disgusted at how run down it is. First of all the bed was just one double size bed, way too small for two people and was sagging in the middle. A very uncomfortable nights sleep.
The window coverings were tattered and the furniture was beat up and shabby. The carpet didn't look very clean and we were afraid to walk barefoot in the room. It looks like there has been no updating done in the last twenty years.

If this was a budget motel that would explain its run down condition however the price is way too high for what you get.
I couldn't wait to leave this place in the morning.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
