Good hotel, but try and get a lake facing room as the others are a little uninspiring facing the road. Rooms onto the lake have a little beach to sit out on

Clean , car park was good, and easy walk into town and good restaurants close by

We have been coming to Osoyoos for over 15 years. We LOVE the area. First time at this hotel. We booked last minute and didn’t have a lot of options. For how small the parking lot is we always find a spot. Lake view room is great. Covid kinda kills amenities. Like house keeping, needing anything at all including toilet paper, coffee you have to get yourself. No breakfast. We paid $300 per night off booking.com and decided to extend our stay one night, originally Saturday was not available when we booked online but when we spoke to the front desk after check in Wednesday they said they could move things around to accommodate us. We were offered a rate of $229, I confirmed the price TWO hundred and twenty nine dollars, wow, $70 cheaper, awesome thanks. The front desk staff said no need to come in now, Friday is fine, one day before our original check out. Well here we are Friday evening and our rate is now $329 if we chose to stay. $100 not a huge deal but kinda feel like they cornered us last minute. It’s almost what we paid on booking.com BUT it isn’t what we were told. Is this place worth the price? Debatable, when everything is so self serve. Our room could’ve been cleaner when we checked in. Crumbs under the desk coffee maker tray and TV. Those we just the obvious when unpacking and moving things around to get organized. Aside from spraying the hand rails once a day I don’t see any real Covid concerns/preventative measures. Beach is awesome but there is one down the street. Pool is open but I don’t see anyone clean it. If you’re an adult you can torpedo down it and it is really fun. Beach is packed. 2 towels for 4 people, no beach towels, no waters, shared patio space that is only cleaned once a day so gets super sandy, shared beach bathrooms and ice machines that also aren’t sanitized, two bbqs accommodate everyone (we waited just over 2 hours to make dinner one night), MAYBE 25 loungers and some are broken. It seems like they’re milking Covid without lowering their price. For $330 a night I don’t think I would come back until the housekeepers and maintenance staff did. Hard to put a price in a beachfront hotel which is where the line is. I have enjoyed myself but I’ve done more for less.

My sister and I visited during the week and enjoyed our stay. The location on the beach is great and would happily stay here again. The room could have used some soap in the shower but there was a full size foaming hand soap we used in lieu of body wash or bar soap. It was nice they had coffee and (processed packaged) muffins which could be upgraded for the price point for this hotel.

Do not stay at this hotel. We normally really like the Coast hotel chain and find it consistently hood, but this one is not. The walls have no soundproofing so we could hear everything from the rooms beside snd above us. We were kept awake most of the night due to noise. We booked our room through Booking.com which we usually have good luck with. They advertised our room as a “dog-friendly room” for $149 and we assumed this meant the pet cleaning fee was included so we booked it. The hotel charged us an extra $25 on top of the $149. We could have stayed at a much more luxurious place for this price. This hotel was very run down and dated. The beds were comfortable which is consistent with Coast hotels, but there’s no point having a comfy bed if the noise keeps you awake all night. There is no one at the front desk through the night, so no one to deal with noise issues. We really would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay here again.

When I still traveled in my work, I stayed at Coast Hotels 4-7 nights per week, so I do consider myself familiar with their standards. We recently enjoyed a short getaway to Osoyoos. Other than the rosemary-scented body wash, which I love, there wasn't much about this experience that met Coast Hotel's standards.
The room was clean, the mattress needs updating, but it was the service or lack thereof, that was most disappointing. At check-in, the front desk person didn't even look up just "Credit card and ID".
On our second day, I couldn't find the housekeeping staff and there is no way to phone them from your room, so I went to the front desk to ask for an extra towel and explained I was going to shampoo my hair. The same front desk staff person said " didn't the housekeeper already do your room? There should be towels there". I explained we were a couple, only had two towels and I needed one more for my hair. Her response? "Well we don't have any here. You'll have to find the housekeeper," I said I would look again, but asked her to let the housekeeper know if she saw her.
On our second to the last day, the housekeeper didn't show up at all. When we returned to our room at 4:30 pm, I phoned the front desk to ask when we could expect housekeeping service. They said they thought they were all gone home and phoned back to confirm a minute later, and was about to hang up without apologizing or even asking if we needed anything. I asked if we could have some coffee packs for the next morning. They were delivered later, but without the necessary paper cups which are needed for thier system.
This location needs to step up its service if they are going to continue to benefit from the current high rates in the area for a basic room.

Friends had stayed here a couple of years ago & liked it so booked a few days. We know it is a difficult time with COVID 19 but did have a few issues staying here. Not much in way of housekeeping service, they give you a broom & dustpan & if you want clean towels you put dirty ones in plastic bag outside room. 'Breakfast' is a tiny muffin & coffee you make in your room. They ask you to take your own garbage out, extra bags in room. Floors look like vinyl plank which in some ways are good because of sandy beach but not much in way of soundproofing between floors. No private balconies but do have small metal table & chairs outside each room. There are good features at hotel. Comfortable beds & pillows. Private beach is clean & safe for families. Could probably have more lounge chairs but if they did probably wouldn't be able to practice safe distancing. They have full kitchens including a full size fridge, stove, microwave & dishes etc. They have gas bbq's for guests & clean them daily. You can rent some water equipment. Prices should have been reduced due to lack of services provided. We enjoyed our stay but may think twice before booking again.

I travel often with Coast Hotels and have stayed in most of their properties in Western Canada, this is one of the best locations they have with the worst experience i have had. King beds in rooms built for a double, chunks of wood to secure the sliding doors at night and management threats of extra changes everywhere you look for anything they can find. Coast hotels in my experience delivers a consistent service for a consistent price and you always know what to expect, except in Osoyoos. i will likely not stay at this location again. for reference pre covid in 2019 i spent 72 nights in Coast Hotel properties and 130 nights a year total travelling.

To whom it may concern,
You asked how your stay was... ok then. First the checking lady moved us rooms because the other was not heating up. The second room the tv box was not working so I went to call the from desk but there was no phone... so off I went to the front desk and the lady was on the phone arguing about credit card charges with a customer. The laundry guy came up and finally asked if I had been help, I explained everything and he got the maintenance man to come and fix everything. The maintenance guy was extremely polite and very helpful. He is the only reason we never left. The tv still would skip out but we were so tired it did not make that big of a concern. The bed was the worst bed we have ever slept on. There was a point where I was going to slept on the floor. Then after the worst nights sleep in ages, we go to check out ( because the lady at the desk when we checked in said there would be) we were informed there was no coffee in the lobby, I checked with her 3 times at check in. All was offered was a small, muffin. Breakfast was to be offered when I made the booking. All Other major hotels we have stayed at still offer a Breakfast and coffee. As of now I am not going to recommend your hotel to my friends or family and will update my blog and trip advisor account accordingly.

Disappointed,
Cody Beebe

I loved that all rooms have beach view so the access to the beach is easy. I booked a two double bed room and it was super small but tidy and clean. The beach chairs are old and some of them where ripping. I would stay there again when the rates are not so high (I paid $330+tax/night at the end of July)

There are a few lounges around and a few small side tables. They were well used. No umbrellas. I would bring my own chairs and umbrella. There is a home hardware in 5own where you can buy these.
