This is an inexpensive old hotel. Don't stay here if you need an extensive room service menu and valet parking. The rooms are large and quiet, the beds are comfortable and there is lots of parking. Everything is a little shabby and worn, the decor is 1970's but the place is clean and the staff are friendly.
Very friendly staff. My Aunt passed away And had a family function. These people Are like your family as soon as you get there. Pretty caring I even got pretty drunk 1 night AMD they checked up on me! LOL. Breakfast joint downstairs too! Very cheap. I suggest this place Because ots Affordable and close to Abby airport. Thanks Again!
Comfortable mattress, clean sheets, good basic hotel, nothing fancy, decent coffee shop. Cleaning could go up a notch or two. Needs a deep clean. Surfaces well worn but ok. Easy to get to from the trans Vanada
stayed here for 4 nights aug 22 till 26.had a very nice room on the 3rd floor c/w balcony house keeping was super.nice resturant & lounge.front desk staff very help full.walking distance to downtown and resturants.we would return here
Best old school hotel in the lower mainland!! Bar and pub and a restaurant on site with Timmy’s a 1/2 block away! Clean comfortable rooms with retro bed spreads! Affordable at 75/ night and a balcony with every room! Hand down I’ll be coming back again! Big truck parking in the back and a huge parking lot for all you lil cars!!
We were terribly disappointed to arrive here and find that this place reeks of tobacco smoke! It is terribly run-down, the beds are hard, and not even baseboards in the room! When we stepped out onto the balcony, we felt it shift down. The price is low, but it is not low enough. We got our money back and found a clean, smoke-free place to stay.
We stayed here for 5 weeks during April and May 2018 while visiting family. I love it here...unspoilt and original and good value. The staff are great. I would work here if I could! We last stayed 9 years ago and it still feels a bit like home. 5 weeks of quiet haven just when I needed it. Looking forward to returning soon.
whilst this hotel is stuck in a time warp it's clean, tidy and the staff are extremely friendly. The food is awesome. There's a British style pub, which also serves food. The British fish and chips are huge portions and almost as good as the ones we get here in Britain, however, peas might work better than coleslaw though.
The lodging was comfortable and so much cheaper that comparable properties in Vancouver. While having anticipated the convenience of having their own restaurant (since we would be arriving around dinner time after a long drive), it turned out that it is closed on Sundays (the day we arrived, of course!). However, that turned out to be pure karma since the friendly receptionist recommended that we try Andreas (directly across the street), which turned out to have great food, fast service, and excellent value!
The hotel is tired and dated however you get what you pay for, for an affordable place to stay in Langley this is spot on. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the locals in the lounge were also friendly and interesting, you get to see a bit of real Canada in here! There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops close by in walking distance. The only negative is the hotel could do with a really good deep clean. Overall a good stay, we would come back.
