We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Entrance. The ranch is beautiful with clean and comfortable rooms, well designed cabins, and rustic teepees along the river. Horses graze around the main house and cabins every day and are available for trail rides. Mary is a great horsewoman and Canadian whose family has been in the area for generations, and was...

Three of us booked a teepee for one night here. When we arrived they had set the fire for us in the stove to warm things up. The beds were comfortable and we stayed dry even though it rained a little. Firepits, axes, chairs, picnic tables, and propane BBQs are outside of every teepee and wood is provided for $10....

This is our 5th time to the Ranch and we always look forward to returning for the peace and quietness. We stayed May 23, 24, & 25, 2016 in the Ridge Cabin and love this little rustic cabin in the woods. It has electricity but no running water; is very cozy, private & was supplied with everything we needed; the...

Had a lovely night in cozy teepee #3 right beside the rushing Athabasca river at the end of August. Went on an incredible 3 hr trail ride that took us up onto the bluffs overlooking Roche Miette and the mountains to the west as well the river valley and the passing trains below. Mary led the ride and her knowledge...

Less than an hour from the hustle and bustle of Jasper and nestled on the shores of the Athabasca River, this lodge/camping establishment provides beautiful scenery and peace and quiet. We really enjoyed our horseback ride through the mountains with experienced leaders and well cared for horses. The views were gorgeous! Mary, Carol and the staff at Old Entrance were...

A very nice time. I chose the teepee camping and enjoyed it thoroughly. The teepees are comfortable but rustic, and the site itself provided more privacy than a campground would. I would definitely like to return next Summer for a longer stay, and to try the horseback riding. There are trains that pass on the opposite side of the mountain,...

Our family (2 adults, 2 girls, 11 & 12) camped here for 3 nights to start our two-week Rockies trip. Our site was beautiful, grass-covered, right on the Athabasca River. This was a great alternative to the crowded national park sites right in Jasper. Our kids love horses and enjoyed great rides with Mary, as well as just hanging out...

My husband and I stayed with our 2 children this past weekend and it was AMAZING!!! The location could not be more perfect. We stayed in teepee #3 and fell asleep listening to the Athabasca river rushing by. Mary and Carol are wonderful ladies who run a wonderful B&B. The horses roam free thoughout the day and it is great...

We booked out trip just a couple days in advance and they were great in accommodating us. They were inxredibly friendly and patient. My husband is a little on the large side at 6'3" and 280 lbs they found the perfect horse for him. We took the 2 hour trip for the perfect Athabasca River view. They even gave our...
