Stayed here for four night with family. Room was beautiful, large and clean. Keurig was nice to have in the room as well as a mini fridge. All staff were friendly, kind, and accommodating. Wifi was good. Would definitely stay here again

If you are a snob who thinks Super 8 is cheap and nasty then you are not even reading this, so those of you who are reading can either book at Super 8 or pay more elsewhere for an inferior room with inferior service.

We made our reservation ONLINE. The description of our room stated there would be a table and chairs in the room. No such table and chairs were in our room. When asking at the desk about getting a room with the Table and Chairs both Clerks stated "that's the room you booked" and there's nothing we can do to change it now that you have checked in. The clerk even told us that the DESK was our table and chairs. Super 8 is unaccommodating to the needs of their guests. The only friendly person that worked there was the guy who put out the breakfast and mopped the floors in the Breakfast area.

If you will please allow me to explain, we agree with the fact that some of our rooms have chairs and table pull out couch and full kitchen. We have 6 different types of rooms and since you made the reservation online, you reserved the standard room so the description matches perfectly and there is nothing we could do about it but we did offered you if you would like to upgrade the room with extra charges however you refused to do so. Clean, friendly staff, beautiful location (views) reasonable rates and easy access. And as a veteran, the reserved for veterans parking spot was icing on the cake. Very impressive. Recommend the top floor facing North as there are busy train tracks on the south side, although I don't know how much of the noise carries into the hotel.

We had an EXCELLENT stay at theSuper 8 in Canmore AB. Beautiful, large and clean room. Comfortable beds. Bright bathroom, lots of towels and nice toiletries. Wifi was good. Nice sized TV. Generous breakfast. Really nice person checked us in and the rest of the staff were friendly. View from room was free!

I usually stay at Hampton Inns or Holiday Inn Express and this Super 8 was comparable, much nicer than I expected. Clean, friendly staff, energy efficient lighting in public areas. Breakfast buffet was ample and opened at 6 am. Was not bothered by any train noise, but was on 3rd floor with a view of the mountains. The price was expensive but good value for the money compared to others in the area during the busy season.

The beds were very, very uncomfortable. Poor quality mattress. 2 nights with sore backs. Room rate costly. Will not consider this property in the future. Do not consider if you are bothered by train noise as its close proximity to the tracks.

Even though everyone has a preference and if they sleep on a firm mattress or hard, we have only heard good things about our mattresses so far. Our prices are very competitive as compare to other properties in Valley and all the hotels in the valley are next to the train tracks as Canmore is an old mining town and tracks run through the middle of the town. Place is clean and quiet. Mountain view on the front and rear of the building. Close to restaurant and groceries. Free breakfast was okay. The rates were reasonable compared to many other hotels in the area.

The hotel was Convenient, the room Comfy and Clean, so a big 3-C's rating. The hot tub in this facility is large and two of us had it all to ourselves, a great treat after hiking about various pathways and trails. Service at the front desk was smooth efficient and friendly. The small breakfast buffet was adequate to get us back on the road.
