Detailed Reviews
We booked through hotel.com 2 months before our stay. We booked a pet friendly hotel and this one caught my eye. When I got my reservations I called the number on it to make sure it was pet friendly. The man assured me that it was. We had a great stay until the last 15 minutes before check out when the phone rang and the lady asked me if we had a dog. I said yes and she told me it would be a $500 fee because it was not a pet-friendly hotel. I was told to email the resort with my concern. I found out that they do have a pet friendly section and that they would reduce my charge to $300. The customer service has been horrible. They even accused me of calling the wrong number, not giving the right information and not asking the right questions when I called. I have never been treated so badly and I hope this doesn't ever happen to anyone else. It was expensive enough during Xmas holiday. When we were leaving a met a man who also got charged $500 for bringing his cat after booking through Hotels.com as well.

I can't understand the complaints from a couple of months ago. Maybe they improved since then. Maybe sure you don't follow Google Maps or it gives you not so clear driving instructions. Make sure to drive into Sidney street and drive to take end, the lobby/front desk is on your right side. Check-in was quite fast and without problems. We even could check in quite earlier but of course that might not always be like that, we also didn't check in on a Friday or weekend.
You have to find your ways to the Pool and rooms. Pool you will find on the 1. level (M) walk in the direction of rooms 100-120.
What's really good that you get your own parking stall and don't have to search for free empty parking lots downstairs.
Rooms, downstairs garage and also door to the pool are opened via codes.
Rooms are small apartments which are spacious and offer main and essential stuff for own cooking. Even a washing machine and dryer.
So you have everything you need. Just missing an iron and ironing board.
You have your own balcony or terrace where you can barbeque if you want.
What we wasn't so good was the walls are thin and not soundproof, also some other rooms around maybe upstairs were very loud.
But all in all we very happy about our stay

I booked last December as I knew this could be costly. Thank goodness I did. We checked in, for a wedding, at the Paradise Resort and Spa Club. Staff were outstanding. They put the three of us seniors/disabled in a condo in the Grand Rockies part of their property. I had originally asked for a room close to the lobby as we had mobility issues. When I checked in the girl at reception (I can’t remember her name, Jen V, I think) was so accommodating. I asked where the handicapped spots were. She walked me out to the front entrance and said. ‘See those patio doors, you park right here”. We were about 10-15 feet from our room. My crew was so happy. The room was outstanding. One bedroom with king size bed, private bathroom with tub and shower, and a tv. Kitchen with all the amenities. The other room had a queen size bed and private bathroom with shower. Living room had a great view, tv and fireplace. The rooms are very quiet and very clean. The pool was just across the hallway through some doors. Again no noise. Now if you want to get some exercise just walk the hallways. Holy it has to be the longest hallway in hotel history. If you don’t mind spending a little cash, I would stay here again. Also the food is outstanding.

Room Tip: Bring your patience as trying to find this place was a chore. There was also road construction...

We booked a last minute stay and before I booked I called the hotel to make sure the pool was open. They told me it was. When we arrived, we were told to go to the pool at 5:30 to book a 1 hour time slot. When we went to the pool at 5:30 we were told there were no times available. We complained to the front desk who then said we could go from 6:30-7:30. They then called back at 6 and said we could not go at 6:30 but could go from 6-7. We had to scramble to get ready quickly, then when we got to the pool they wouldn’t let us in. We got to spend a total of 15 mins at the pool.
The toilet in one of the bathrooms made an awful, squealing sound when it was flushed and lasted for close to 10 Minutes. There is no place beside the bed to charge phones.
The only good thing about this place is the location. I will not return.

We stayed in a main floor two bedroom suite. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous for the price - best value I’ve seen in Canmore or Banff. Friendly service/check in and huge bathrooms for the price. All squeaky clean. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

Love these units. We stay every year.
This trip had a disappointing factor of the pool being renovated while we were there and no discount code or extra given to use another facility pool.
The location is great for walking to places in and around town.

PARADISE RESORT CLUB IN CANMORE - SHORT AND SWEET REVIEW, DO NOT STAY HERE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN CANMORE! This management group has units is several properties, and are not capable of the basics of hotel management. Furniture falling apart in the units, clogged sinks, and completely missing the "daily" room clean and towel changes. After contacting management, they argue that the room was cleaned even though we have the pictures indicating it was not, along with the dirty pool towels on the floor. Management then advises they will look in to the matter further and end up contacting you once you have returned home advising they have fully investigated and they were not at fault. The reason for this is simple...Upon checking in at the front office, we noticed a line up of people waiting to speak to management with similar issues, and basically not getting what was promised! The management group is well aware of this and does not want more disgruntled "guests" lined up in their front check in area. They are not staffed properly, and the staff they do have are under stress do to constant problems and complaints. Most people don't get out on holidays that often, so when you do get organized and make it out, you certainly don't want a large disappointing customer experience as is offered here. Do yourself and big favor, and stay in a tent if you have to, but do not waste any of your hard earned money here!!!

The location was excellent. Right at the heart of the Canmore city centre with all shops and restaurants accessible within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The bonus is having the washing machine and dryer along with detergents in the room itself. Ours was a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen, balcony and living. It's located in a safe and clean neighbourhood. The covered basement car park was great. The reception was very helpful in giving all information and guidance. Banff was a quick drive away and we would really recommend anyone planning Banff to park up in Canmore.
The property is linked with three other sister resorts which apparently is their own but that was confusing from knowing the entrance (so just pay attention when getting driving directions). It would be great for simplicity if it is all merged as one for checkin. Not that it is an issue but initially it was difficult to find the lobby for the one that we had booked particularly.
Otherwise, highly recommend, consider using this resort for couple of nights stay in Canmore (or Banff visit). It has everything you need with a kitchen, utensils, stove, over, bbq etc. Great place for family stay. Location wise, you have access to almost everything you need whether restaurants or groceries within walkable distance.
