My mom and I had such a great experience staying here! We were in a regular room during our first night which was alright. Run down room but the bed was so comfortable! We had an issue with our toilet and they showed up at my door within 3 minutes of my call, and they fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. If you’re staying in the regular room (not studio apartment), the TV has Netflix, which was nice. The rest of our stay, we stayed in the studio apartment which was such a great experience. It’s super cute with a mini kitchen (stove oven with utensils too, coffee maker, microwave and fridge). Unfortunately there’s only one bed in the room, but you can easily fit an inflatable air mattress if needed. They restock (bathroom supplies) and clean the rooms every morning. The office was always helpful with answering questions or giving extra supplies (like tissue box or coffee). It was quite pricy overall but that’s how it is pretty much everywhere in beautiful Banff and area especially during high season (June/July). Overall, I recommend!…
Lovely accommodation - great location, easy 10-15 min walk into the town centre, lovely views, easy access from the main road but quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spacious, clean room and comfy beds. Thanks for a great stay!
Honestly rooms not much to look at. However it's a good value for what you pay and the full kitchen suite amenities are really nice for hiking. Rooms are old but clean. Service also pretty good they reached out to us because we had left an item there and wanted to check if we still wanted it.
Everything about this places says it is not well maintained. Our room had old carpet that should have been replaced years ago, bathroom that needs updated fixtures... Front desk staff were friendly but this is a typical business where ownership doesn't have a plan to reinvest in the property. We ended up paying $210 U.S. for one night in September 2022. Would we stay again, No!
Arrived on the spot/last minute hoping for a room without pre-booking; didn’t disappoint! We were impressed by the service we got from the staff at reception, the Ukrainian lady in particular was very helpful and provided excellent service. Thank you 😊 Room was great (loft apartment and fabulous view) and was well-equipped and comfortable. Good WiFi quality if you need it. As a Brit, not used to the shower power strength which was well-received!
We stayed here whilst visiting for a friends wedding, it’s an ideal place for a no frills, comfortable safe stay after a long day in the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful and you had all the amenities one needs (coffee machine, kettle, fridge and shower soaps and shampoo etc. place was clean and was cleaned every day. Ideal for families as well as couples. There are also amazing views of the mountains around you.
If you are looking for a place to stay in the area for a reasonable price (in comparison to the surrounding area), then this would be fine. It has more of a motel/older ski lodge feel to it. The rooms are very dated- there is an old carpet smell as soon as you enter the room. Paint was chipping in some areas and the baseboard appeared broken in one area which was very visible. Popcorn ceiling had a small hole in it. It doesn’t appear like there have been any renovations or upkeep over the past few years. That being said, it was relatively clean, and there is housekeeping service daily. Room also had a microwave and fridge. Front staff were kind and welcoming. Location is 20 minutes from Banff and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
Bed bugs in oure room. Easy to see the bugs. Found two right when we enter the room. Got the money back and left the place. Have heard that ther is bugs om more rooms. Hope not we got any of them with os home, they are hard to get rid of if the get into the house
All I can say is don't stay here reasons: 1. Carpet in room 137 filthy. 2. No renovations since was built. At least what we could see... 3. For over $380 a night in July in Canmore, go extra $50 and get something nicer. 4. Took a $100 deposit on room for what? A little coffee pot? Microwave? Only thing nice was the lady at the front desk when we checked in. OWNERS: REINVEST SOME OF YOUR PROFITS!
Below average hotel with dated rooms. Good location. Has more of the feel of a motel. Only stayed one night and I was thankful for that. Check in went quick and easy though so bonus points for that. Most importantly though, the room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable.
