we were in a loft apartment and upon arrival were really impressed with the apartment. It was a well laid out design and fit our family with my in laws quite comfortably. We had beautiful views of the mountains. The reality though was that the room was very tired. The upstairs loft was incredibly dusty and HOT! even with the window open all night and the fan going on high we were sweltering (and covered in dust). Same with downstairs. The bath leaked as did the toilet. They property needs to invest in updating their rooms...but saying that they were one of the cheapest in Canmore the week after Christmas. Would we stay here again? not sure. Did it dampen our time in the mountains? Nope not at all. It was a base.

This was our first stay at the Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge, but it won't be our last. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable, clean and inviting. It was also quiet. Although it's close to the highway, we didn't hear any noise from the highway or from the other guests. We brought our two dogs, and the staff had laid out a dog bed, bowl and a complimentary play toy for our girls. It was really easy to walk the dogs as there is lots of green space nearby. Likewise, there are lots of restaurants within 2 km of the hotel so it's easy to grab meals or enjoy a walk in the beautiful scenery while you grab a coffee. I recommend Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge for your next trip!

This hotel was good because we could eat breakfast there and then go on our adventures. It is clean and comfortable. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable so I slept well. Well located near to places to eat.

Lovely place with beautiful view of Rockies. Rabbits running around. The price was very good for our cute cottage which actually slept 10, although there was only 4 of us in it. Think it would have benefited from another bathroom. It was very quiet and the cottage had a lovely kitchen. Could imagine that in the ski season it would make a great place to stay. Visited Lake Louise and Lake Moraine while we were there and also Banff.

we had a great room. Parking was a bit tight in the block where our room was. The room was clean. and everything was prepared in great order. The futon in the living room was a bit low to the ground for my husband to sit on. Internet was good and so was TV. we had a small kitchen ...which was appreciated.

I had my own self contained little cabin. A posh one at that. I had everything I needed to prepare my own meals if needed. The accommodation was clean, well maintained throughout.Could not find any fault. All you need for a place to use as a base.

We stayed one night each on two separate visits. We wanted a convenient stay before and after our trip to Jasper and RMSL met our expectations. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was quiet. Our room was on the second floor with a beautiful mountain view that included the Three Sisters. What a joy to see the sun rise over them and to see “the Rockies turn rose”.

We went for a 7 day trip with 4 days of it at the Rocking Mountain Ski Lodge and it was worth every penny!. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the service provided to us and if we go back this will be our only choice. The view of the mountains from our upgraded room was spectacular!

The pictures are very kind to the Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge. The place looks the same - just a lot older and more run down. The rooms are worn and in need of a major renovation. With that being said, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable....everything except for the tv is old. The WiFi worked well & the staff was friendly. The lodge is located on the main drag & relatively close to the railroad tracks...if you’re a light sleeper you might want to go elsewhere. The lodge is way over-priced for what you get.

Pleasant greetings from reception, and the rooms were good, with a;ll basic facilities. it would be better to eat outside as its cheaper. It is reasonably close to the main road. The toilets and the view was good, but only in some rooms.
