We have stayed at Georgetown several times. It has become one of our favourite places. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The pub is a great place to have a meal, snack or a few drinks in front of the cozy fireplace.

Beautiful room. Love the attention to detail So nice to have a real teapot, teacups and kettle for tea. Supper at the pub was delicious. This was a quick trip, next time we will stay longer. Loved looking at all of the movie history on the hallway.

We really can’t say enough about this one of a kind place. I just can tell you that you won’t be disappointed in the hospitality, the rooms are charming and beautiful. The ambience and the service AND food in the ‘Pub’ are the best. If there’s vacancy? Just go! And the Strawberry French Toast? Wow!!!

The Georgetown rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The beds are super comfortable. The staff goes the extra mile and the bar is atmospheric with a real fireplace. One hallway shows an interesting history of films made in the area.

My husband and I recently stayed here on a couples getaway. Pros: -comfy king sized bed - tub for 2! - electric fireplace - size of room - complimentary coffee and tea in teacups - bathrobes Cons: not really much. The view of the parking lot was nothing special. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others. A great place to recharge with my spouse!

Very cute and cozy type of Victorian style house. Has some history to read on plaques on each floor. Staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. Only one restaurant but has an outdoor patio with fireplace. A swing for children we also noticed. I was beyond excited and pleased that with the new owners or management had honoured with NO questions asked of a gift certificate that was a number of years old. Bless them and the customer service they had displayed. We recommend absolutely!

We were only able to book for one night. But we will be back. We had room 208 which had two large windows looking towards the mountains. King size bed with a Jacuzzi tub and a free standing tub in the small sitting area with a electric fireplace. I requested a ice bucket with champagne glasses and they were waiting for us. Nice fluffy robes as well. We ordered the plough man’s lunch for dinner as the menu said it was more than enough for two. It was a big disappointment. I know what a plough lunch is as I am English and this was not it. But fortunately I had brought crackers and cheese and other goodies so we had more than enough food.

On arriving at the Georgetown Inn we were greeted as long lost favourite relatives. After checking in, went for super in their lounge where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with excellent service. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable as to the history of Canmore and what is going on it town. We experienced a two hour flat surface hike through Policeman's Creek area and were amazed at what they have done and continue to do in that area. All the meals we had at the Inn were delicious, served promptly and what was to be hot was served hot even though they were very busy. My favourites for breakfast were the Traditional Avocado Toast and their French Toasts (Famous Orange and Strawberry Delight). For dinner, the Chicken Masala was full of flavour, a little spicey for me but still delicious. Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding was another treat. We love the ambience throughout the Inn and can hardly wait to return... Our rooms were huge, had a great fire place for warming up the room during a winter visit but we still had to turn it on for a few minutes. Beds were very comfortable. We slept undisturbed...was it that we were exhausted from our long walks or the other guests were as tired as we were and also went to bed early.. Only stayed 2 nights at the Georgetown Inn...big mistake....should have booked for a longer stay...too much to see in 3 days. Wholeheartedly recommend the Georgetown Inn. Our 2-night visit from the time we arrived until leaving was fabulous. Check in was seamless, the room was unique with amazing mountain views. The Pub had fantastic food at both breakfast and dinner and the service was first rate...one of the few places we visited that had more than enough staff given the issues with people wanting to work these days. Can't say enough about how great it was.
