4 of us in a double room, which was really quite nice. It had a huge high celling which made the room look great. We certainly felt we had lots of space. View from the window of the Rocky Mountains was 1st class. I used the gym, which is a few bits in a tiny room so damn got it was like running in Egypt not Canada. It was so hot I had to stop running on treadmill. But the gym is definitely an afterthought. Had to ask for towels as only 2 sets in a room booked for 4. As an IHG platinum member I was given no recognition and no free offer of an upgrade. No water in room!! A Canadian issue and to be honest quite poor. Breakfast was by far the worst in any hotel I’ve used. I was offered a $13 voucher towards breakfast and had to buy bacon as was only allowed sausage!! Breakfast was TINY and I left having had a meal that wouldn’t fill my 11 year old. Holiday Inn in Europe normally serve a great breakfast so this was dreadful and felt tight fisted… But as I say, room was spacious and comfy.…
We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and nice - nothing special - it's a holiday inn. We enjoyed being able to use the outdoor hottub which had a great view of the mountains. We ordered takeout from the restaurant and the burgers weren't the best. That would be my only negative. But there are enough restaurants around Canmore you can get excellent food there.
I don’t usually do this to put a review but I just wanna let everyone know!!!! The room was filthy , I think they gave me the used room , the duvet that I used was not even clean or not even changed, there's still bread crumbs and chocolate on it, and the duvet was smelly( smell used) thats why I didn’t used it. I will not definitely to comeback here anymore and I will tell to all my friends and colleagues not to stay in this hotel! For sure this hotel will let their all guest use the used bed.( so disgusting) I hope no one will get sick in this hotel! Specially right now! ( you didn’t even know if other customer sneezed in the pillow and duvet) . I hope if you want to keep your business run, CLEANLINESS IS THE KEY! Give your customer clean bed! If you want to comeback your customer to your hotel! I didn’t bother to complained to the reception , I’m too tired to argue that day,…
Me and my girlfriend have stayed here several times and love it. The staff is always friendly, the building itself is clean, minimalistic, warm and cozie. Lots of little trails near by, beautiful views. Super close walk, drive, bike to the heart of Canmore. Will stay here again and again!!!
My room was clean and while it overlooked the parking lot, I could still see the mountains. I really enjoyed the view. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff came by to touch up the room while I was out and that was unexpected but really nice of them to do, given the recent changes in hotel policies. There was also another guest who forgot his charger and the front desk staff tracked one down for him to borrow. The hotel was in a great location and was pretty quiet. It’s just on the westbound side of the highway so you’re away from the “busyness” of the town itself but it’s just across the road. There was ample parking and I enjoyed the trails outside as well. I would stay here again.
