This hotel is kind of cosy in a bigger way. We asked for a quiet room away from the road but on the lower floor as there isn’t a lift and we are in our 70s. And, that’s what we got. The double twin room 120 was spacious and clean. It had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. The bedding was great. No power points for recharging gadgets - we had to be inventive. Being on the ground floor (which we asked for), our window looked out directly onto the street/carpark but are double glazed and tinted to preserve privacy. They had an ice machine (yay) and a little room near the cute and cosy reception area where you could sit and help yourself to freshly brewed coffee. We had read a few negative remarks about this hotel but we were quite happy there. There is a little noise at times - but there is everywhere - and we slept really well for our 3 nights there. I would be happy to come back.…
I would've given this a 5 star for the value and our nice room, but the train is just across the street and runs all night! We stayed here instead of in Banff as the rooms are a much better value. Banff is only a 15 minute drive. Our room was huge, but it faced the street and we could definitely hear the train. Maybe a room in the back would be quieter. We did have a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains from our room.
My previous stay here was great, my room was basic but clean and well managed. However my most recent stay was disappointing. I was suppose to stay for an extended period of time but I left after three weeks because of the current management refusing to provide house keeping service once a week. I was asking the bare minimum and they refused to provide that.Sadly I will not be staying here again.
We checked in to the King studio and was blown away! The view of the mountain was incredible, the room is huge, there’s a coffee maker fridge and microwave in the room. Everything is clean and so cozy. Honestly for the price I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
Excellent value for your money. It’s a basic room but very clean and has a fridge and coffee maker. No housekeeping unless you pay extra but I was fine with that.We stayed for 6 nights and if we needed anything we just asked for it at the front desk. There’s a microwave for use in the public area
- we stayed here 2 nights. - The street to the hotel was closed due to construction of condos in the adjacent lot. We had to take a longer detour. - the parking lot was very small. First come first serve basis. - our room was on the main floor. The ones walls are paper thin. We could here people taking outside even when the window was closed. We could here people in the lobby and people upstairs from us. We could hear people all hours of the night. - the room did not smell clean. But it looked somewhat clean. - there was no breakfast included no swimming pool or gym. - as part of the check out, we were required to disinfect the room and take out our recycle and garbage. - we only saw one staff member at check in/out. I spoke with this staff member about the noise level. She didn’t seem concerned nor apologetic. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want a good night sleep.…
The hotel took excellent COVID precautions with extra towels and blankets wrapped in plastic and provided the room with cleaning spray and paper towels. The beds were comfortable and clean! The Inn is a bit dated and the carpets could be replaced. The walls are thin so you can hear traffic in the halls. Hot water takes a while to warm up in the shower. Overall it met our needs for one evening, it was affordable, but average stay.
Lovely little Inn, in downtown Canmore. Close to many little shops and restaurants. Lovely mountain view from our room. The rooms were nice and spacious for the price. Not disappointed at all!!! The staff is very friendly
Good location within walking distance to several restaurants. Beautiful mountain view from the room. Decor is dated but room was very clean & comfortable. Would have appreciated coffee in the room since there was none available in the lobby due to Covid but that’s a minor critique. Great value for the price paid. Staff was friendly & efficient. Would stay again.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. It is an older building so you can hear a little more but it wasn't bothersome. While located at the end of town, there were many amenities within a short walking distance.
