This is our third(?) time staying at The Lodges. It's always been enjoyable and we like that it's so easy to get to and to find. You feel like you're in a little mountain village and downtown is just a quick 5 minute (when there's no construction) walk away. There is easy access to the extremely well-maintained paved walking trails -- which I truly appreciate. You can't beat the views when you get up and behind the resort! The unit was well-maintained, clean (though it could have used a DEEP cleaning and a few very minor repairs to make it perfect) and we loved being on ground level. All in all I would recommend this resort and we will definitely be back! Thanks to the friendly staff for helping make our stay a pleasant one.

We have stayed at The Lodges maybe 10 times over the last 15 years and have always been very satisfied with the accommodation. However, this time, our condo unit (Cougar Lodge #324) was very disappointing. The carpets were badly stained, the paint was chipped, wooden furniture was worn and scratched. The main light fixture in the living area had two bulbs not working out of five (and it took 24 hours to get replacements) and the living room TV was unwatchable due to the poor picture quality. This unit is long overdue for a makeover! We have always booked our stay at The Lodges and have never really looked elsewhere, but next year we will be looking for something a lot better than this.

We were here on an RCI exchange for 3 nights. We were in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit in the Wolf building which is the main building that you check into here. Underground parking was a nice surprise. Only 2 of us but this 2 bedroom was all we could get on relatively short notice. The unit was very clean and well equipped with everything we could have needed. The second bedroom consisted of twin beds which we hadn't been aware of if we had needed it but that was fine. King bed in the main bedroom was nice. Check in was fast and easy. Friendly staff as we came and went each day. We had no issues while we were here. We spent our days hiking, exploring, and trying out some of the many fantastic restaurants located in Canmore. Even got treated to getting close up to a couple of bull Elk right inside the town sight at Policeman's Creek. Spent a half day exploring Banff as well as it was only about a 20 minute drive. This is truly a spectacular area and we would definitely return both to Canmore and to this resort. Happy Travels!

We just returned from a weekend vacation too this Hotel. It was probably one of the worse experiences we had at a Hotel. When we arrived too check in we were put in the Cougar Lodge. The minute we opened the door we knew this was a mistake. The suite looked like it was never cleaned. Everything was covered in dust. The furniture was in such rough shape and old. Couch had stains. The barbeque was all rust so unsafe too cook on. No air conditioning. We were so surprised by this especially during Covid. We went too the front desk and asked for the Manager and conveniently there was no Manager on duty. We told the front desk employee we are not staying in that room.. He found us another room in the Grizzly Lodge. The room was a lot newer and somewhat cleaner, but still had alot of dust so we cleaned up a few things ourselves. It looked like they never even pulled the fridge or stove out too clean behind it. You could see the thick dirt between the counter and the stove. The Hotel website said that during Covid they have staff cleaning elevator buttons, door handles etc. We never saw any staff cleaning anything. There was no cleaning services. So if you needed anything you had too go get it from the front desk. You also had too haul your garbage yourself too a basement. But we think it could be because of Covid. The next day my husband did talk too the manager and told her maybe someone should be checking these room before they rent them out she didn't seem too concerned. For 200 plus a night this Hotel needs a big makeover.
