Wowww! This is a wonderful lodge, holistic with amazing views of nature in front of our big window and balcony.
My husband's family from the Philippines and my family from Edmonton stayed here for two nights before the new year last year, we love to stay here❤️😍 I could say this is one of the country’s most beautiful and elegant places to stay, from the exterior and interior designs, it also has a lot of amenities that are incomparable with other places. This lodge also allows you to keep feeling at home because of the complete kitchen stuff comfortable bedding excellent washroom, More than this, all the staff are kind and very accommodating.
My family and I are very thankful and happy to stay here and we highly recommend this place to everyone, especially to our relatives and friends 🙏😍

Cheers!🥂🥂

The room presentation was perfect, I am extremely happy, because it's clean, with high-quality beds, the kitchen was complete, we enjoyed cooking our favourite food and safe a lot of money, the washroom was pretty cool, in general, I’m in my dream room, and I felt very welcoming and relaxed for sure same feeling with my family.

We stayed here in early March 2025, and there was still plenty of snow in the area. It's a great place to stay—just down the road from the town center, and the rooms are spacious. The water pressure is excellent, especially for the ladies, though it's best to run the taps for a bit as the pipes can get cold in -10°C weather. The spa, swimming pools, and expansive gardens with walkways offer beautiful views. While it’s not quite a 5-star experience, it’s definitely 4.5 stars on a budget. The staff are fantastic, and parking is convenient under the hotel, so no need to worry about scraping off snow in the morning. The washing machine and dryer work well, too.

It’s only a 15-minute drive to Banff, and we found ourselves getting confused about whether we were in Canmore or Banff because both towns are so beautiful.

Looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I stayed at the Falcon Crest Lodge for our 20 year wedding anniversary. We were pleasantly welcomed with a bottle of wine and some local chocolates. We stayed in the 1 bedroom king suite which was very clean and had a beautiful mountain view from our balcony (note not all rooms come with a mountain view, this was upon request and not guaranteed). The kitchen was well stocked in terms of kitchenware and we had everything we needed in the area (great restaurants, grocery store, activity centres, etc) and the town of Banff was less than 30min away.
The only reason for the 4-star review was because one of reasons I chose this hotel was because our room included washer/dryer. I even confirmed availability of these amenities in our room 2 days before arriving (and accordingly packed lightly) only to find an “out of order” sign. When I spoke with hotel reception, they advised that the washer/dryers are managed by a private company not the hotel. They offered me use of the hotel’s common washing machine (at a small fee) but even at that the dryer there was out of order. I wish the hotel’s reception staff would have been more aware of appliances not available in the rooms (this kind of information should be in the reservation system) so that I could have possibly been placed in a different room. Despite this issue, I would stay here again.

We stayed at this lodge for 4 nights in late October. Unfortunately the mountain view hot tub was "closed for maintenance" (although we came to suspect it was actually closed to save operating costs during low season), only the parking lot hot tub was open. On our last night this hot tub too was closed. Upon checkout, when we enquired about getting an adjustment on our resort fees for these inconveniences, we were told that we would be contacted within a few days. That didn't happen, and subsequent emails sent to both the general email address and the general manager went unanswered. Independent of whether or not the lodge would honour an adjustment to the resort fees paid we found it unprofessional that the management did not even have the decency or courtesy to at least repond to our cordially written emails. Obviously they only care about the money and have no interest in customer satisfaction or loyalty. This is the second time we've stayed at this lodge, and they have now lost our business.

After having stayed there before ,we were some what disappointed in our room
We choose a king suite , compared to the queen suite we previously had it was lacking a few things . The bathroom did not have the stand alone shower it had bath tub with shower .
As we had a person with a disability the bath tub was not practical . The bedroom had a platform mattress that kept slipping off ,and also the mirror on the closet had a big crack .
There a limited amount of China for the two of us s o we ran dishwasher a few times . The staff
Was helpful even tho we did not see much of them
We loved the barbecue and the view

Dear Sandra, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are terribly sorry to hear this past stay wasn't able to meet your expectations from your previous stay and we'd love another chance to improve that with a future stay. If we were informed of the disability we could have certainly made sure you had the stand-alone shower. I will also note down the comments about the mirror on the closet and the limited dishes so the next guest doesn't have to occur that same problem. We are glad you enjoyed your room with a view. Hopefully, we can welcome you back in the near future. In Hospitality, General Manager Jason Segboer

Before I go into the review let me say the lodgings at Falcon Crest Lodge are excellent, great amenities (hot tub), extremely clean, it is extremely conveniently located by downtown Canmore, and the staff superseded my expectations.
My wife and myself spontaneously decided to go to Canmore on a Saturday in mid-September (high season). With no prior reservation we went to Falcon Crest (in person) in Canmore to see if they had a room available (we had been there before and also have a very positive review). They had one suite left which we booked.
Without seeing the room we left to do sightseeing for the rest of the day and buy groceries for the suite. Going back to the room we saw that there was no oven in the room. Going to the front desk we mentioned to the staff (Josh) that there was not an oven. In all fairness, this was a last minute “day of booking” on our part in high season and Canmore is extremely busy so we were lucky to get any room knowing that Falcon Crest was fully booked after we grabbed the last room.
Knowing, and being fine with this, getting back to our suite we received a call from Josh indicating he had found another room with an oven and would we want to move over (which we did). About 10 minutes after switching rooms we received another call from Josh asking if the unit was to our satisfaction (which it was). Finally on check out the next day, Josh left a note for the staff and they noted and apologized for the room transfer and once again asked about our stay. That is excellent customer service.
This attention to customer service and the client experience (in addition to room cleanliness, convenience, and amenities) Clique offers through Falcon Crest is exemplary (particularly since room/type availability during high season was beyond their control).

Falcon Crest Lodge felt like home away from home, and I've never felt that way in any of the other places I've stayed while traveling. I stayed in a one-bedroom king suite with a full kitchen and in-suite laundry. The room was homey, the view spectacular, and all the conveniences made my stay perfect. There's also a bus stop right outside of the property, which made it easy to get into town (public transit is currently free in the Town of Canmore).

It's obvious there's a high standard of care and attention taken by all staff to maintain the space and accommodate guests. I'll gladly recommend Falcon Crest Lodge to family and friends, and there's no doubt I'll be booking again for future stays. Thank you for making my stay a memorable and comfy one!

Hotel was clean and well kept, staff were exceptionally helpful. There was a problem with the building A/C on our first night but it cooled off outside at night that we opened the balcony door and it cooled us off enough to sleep. The problem was remedied the next day. All rooms had a BBQ on the balcony. We had a studio unit which was more than sufficient for our needs. They provided a cleaning service on the 4th day - which was nice, however on their leaving the room they had cranked the A/C up to 61 F which is a little cold and totally unnecessary - perhaps this is why the A/C broke in the first place. They have two hot tubs, a cardio room, and an onsite restaurant (Chinese food). The room had towels for the hot tub and robes. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils, full stove/oven, mini fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc.

We stayed here for 6 weeks while under going renovations. I got spoiled by the delicious coffee, nicely equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed- so much so that I ordered the same mattress four ourselves- and awesome shower with multidirectional sprays.
The attention to our comfort by housekeeping and front desk was very much appreciated.
Great location, walkable to everything.
Highly recommended.

Great experience. The hotel manager and front end staff go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms are very clean - we usually stay in the one bedroom suites. Also of note the building has two well maintained outdoor hot tubs, one on either side of the building. It usually takes about 1 hour from my residence (just north of downtown Calgary) which is extremely convenient access, and there is no National Park fee.

We find the bedroom mattresses very comfortable, and the unit we stayed in last time had great arched ceiling lines and windows. Kitchens are well stocked (utensils), and the appliances/utensils are very clean with granite tops (at least the units we stayed).

Finally I have to mention the staff again. I am very picky about customer service and they have provided a great experience every time. We are a fan of Clique-managed hotels (have stay in other of their properties) and it is extremely clear to us that they have a strong employee culture which is amplified in the courteousness and professionalism the way the staff treats customers.

One last thing, in addition to high-level of room cleanliness (including sheets), the hallways feel wider. Even though it is something you do not think about it really contributes to the stay.

I have had no hesitation in the past recommending Falcon Crest Lodge to work colleagues and family and will do so again.
