I have stayed at this motel several times in the past and it was fine. This time however, I was disappointed. It was very cold outside and apparently the heating system is inadequate. I had the in room thermostat turned up as high as it would go, but almost no heat was coming out of the radiator. There is no fan, only radiant heat. I had to sit in the room with my winter coat on, and also needed it on top of the bed covers for sleeping as well. Needles to say, getting out of bed in the morning was not fun! I mentioned to the front desk clerk (who had that "I couldn't care less" attitude) that there was no heat, but all he said was that the heating system couldn't keep up, and then proceeded to charge me full price for the room. I will not be staying at this property the next time I'm in Kindersley.…
We were coming into Kindersley, at 9:30 at night, just looking for a comfortable place to have a sleep. Fog was bad, animals were all over the road, so for safety sake, we decided to get off the highway. I looked at other places, and decided that this one would be ok just for a bed. I called 10 minutes before arriving, and was assured that there was room at this place. We had our toddlers with us, so we figured whatever we got was going to be ok just to sleep. We were greeted with the warmest welcome. Like being greeted home. The lobby was so clean. We were given a room on the main floor, which was SO easy with the kids, to pack and unpack our car. We parked right in front of our room! We walked into a SPOTLESS room. I had no worries about letting the kids explore the room, because there was no dirt or grime anywhere. I didn't have change for snacks in the vending machine, so went to the front desk and was given change. THE BED- so comfortable. And the pillows and linens smelled so fresh. How they got hotel towels to be so white and SO SOFT I will never know. The bathroom was small, but nice to have it so clean, and the sink outside the bathroom, so we could brush teeth while someone used the shower. We appreciated cable tv (Treehouse channel, yay!) and the flat screen tv. Well, the kids appreciated the tv. Ha! Being close to the highway, the room was actually quite quiet. Our only complaint was being a Sunday night/Monday morning, guys starting their trucks to go to work was a bit noisy. But the 5 minutes of half ton trucks was really nothing that would deter us. Being a bit dated didn't deter from the fact that the room was polished. The towels and bed linens and room furnishings were well kept and cared for. PLUS the four of us stayed for $100!!! Awesome! This place was a random stop, and we feel like we found a little gem. We are looking forward to staying here in the future!…
Just needed a place to stay for the night and the Nova inn ended up being a good option. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. We got to park our car right out front of our room. Even though situated right on the highway, it was a quite night sleep. Coffee in the lobby in the morning. All staff we encountered were incredibly efficient and friendly!!
Staff were very friendly, the room was clean and spacious, and the price was reasonable. However, I didn't have my tape measure along, but either it really wasn't a queen size bed, or the fact that the bed was not firm and we rolled towards the middle, made for a very uncomfortable night. I treasure my sleep so will not be staying there again.
My girlfriend and I stopped in about midnight so we could get a good sleep while passing through. This hotel is low key and not the most modern. Nice clean rooms with a flat screen, microwave, coffee maker and everything we needed. I'd stay again, $100 taxes in.
Rooms were very clean and comfy. The biggest rooms I've ever stayed in. They have a sister hotel down the road call the Kindersley Inn, rooms were tiny and staff was rude and didn't speak great English. So i was vewry hesitant to stay....but wow what a diamond in the ruff......First staff I had was a lady named Amber who apologized for my experience at the Kindersley Inn... even she showed us the rooms and offered to waive pet fee for our troubles at the other hotel. Very professional and charming. We then met Lori a bubbly delight and was so helpful showing us how to get around town. We liked it so much we stayed a extra night just to enjoy their company and relax in the room after a busy day. Price was more then fair and restaurant had great pizza. I will always stay at the Nova Inn when we come to Kindersley again.…
The room we stayed in was on the main floor with a door going outside..which is very accommodating. The rooms are very clean..nice size tv and very comfortable pillows and beds. The staff is very friendly . Will stay again..Great location along the highway.
We stayed here on a trip recently and booked online hoping for the best. From the moment we entered I knew I had chosen well. The staff at the front desk was the best service person I had come across in years. The rooms are bright the beds comfortable and everything was super clean. The next morning a different person was at the front desk, but was equally as professional, courteous and friendly. We continued to a funeral the next day, and began our trip back home. I had booked a room in Wainwright that night. When we checked in it was filthy, with holes in the walls. We refused to stay and drove an extra 2 hours back to the Nova. We were again greeted by yet another front desk clerk who made sure my elderly Mom's room was close to ours and was friendly and attentive to us as guests even at that late hour. Over the 2 nights we interacted with 4 front desk staff and 2 of the cleaning staff and we were very impressed by all 6 and their customer service, so much so that I am writing this review, something that I never do but will from now on.…
We were part of a family reunion group that stayed at Nova Inn. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great price and a n attached restaurant made this a convenient stop. Nothing fancy but clean and affordable. Nice staff Easy to find on west end of Kindersley by highway 21.
I wasn't sure what to expect, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the staff were so friendly and they had me processed faster than anywhere else. The bedroom was neat and cozy, and most importantly, the bed was SO comfortable. It was the best sleep I had my whole trip!
