The hotel and room are very clean, but upon entering the reception smells way too much like perfume and the strong smell comes up through the elevators. Good service at reception and well-equipped room, with a mini fridge. The bed is very comfortable. However, we had to get coffee sachets from reception. The bottle of water made available to us costs $3.99. The included breakfast is basic: toast, bagels, cereal, some fruit, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee and juice. Croissants would have been appreciated. A detail that didn't bother us too much, but when we changed the channels on the TV, the name of the channel that appeared on the screen was not the right one. In short, we recommend this hotel for comfort, cleanliness and tranquility.

There was no coffee in the room (only decaf)
TV is not smart
The switches near the bathroom were very dirty (sticky)
The 2nd bed (wall-mounted) was locked
No fan in the bathroom, no air circulating, very humid
It's rare that I review a hotel room negatively, but this time it was disappointing, especially at this price

Very nice hotel, plenty of places to sit and enjoy the lobby. The perfume in the lobby smells very good! Friendly staff.
The bed and pillows are really not comfortable (even in the penthouse room having had it in addition to the king room on the 9th floor).
The pool is dirty with sand at the bottom and the jets of the small whirlpool bath no longer work.. not to mention the cold pool water.
I expected better for a beautiful, not so old hotel!

Firstly, no possibility of heating a baby's bottle... No kettle/coffee maker accessible anywhere in the hotel. We requested a microwave to heat the bottle (only at night) because we are away during the day and the price was $50. Very nice room but the bed and pillows are horrible. Bed too hard and 3 pillows for 2 people (much too soft) in a large bed is not enough. We had a hotel stay that went back to $550 which is definitely not worth the price. Very ordinary lunch. I do not recommend it to anyone and I will never book again at Times hotels.

I stayed at the Grand Times in Laval a few weeks ago and unfortunately we had certain problems which prevented us from fully enjoying the experience. After discussing it with management, they offered us a very advantageous promotion to allow us to have a better opinion of the Grand Times experience.
We decided to go to the one in Drummondville and I must say that we were delighted with our stay. The welcome was friendly, professional and quick. The swimming pool in the hotel is clean and pleasant with very pleasant ambient music.
Our room was perfect in every way, both cleanliness and comfort. What can I say about the view...wow
Over the years I have had the opportunity to stay in the majority of hotels in the city and I must admit that the Grand Times is at the top of the list of places to stay. I recommend this establishment with all eyes closed and I can't wait to visit those in other cities to compare with the one in Drummond but the bar is now very high.

Hotel room was gorgeous and the staff were lovely. Its very chic overall but we were very disappointed to see the amount of single use plastic and waste at the continental breakfast. Surely you can provide real, washable dishes and utensils and cut down on your carbon footprint.

Thanks for your great comments! Although nothing is perfect, our employees and management are really aware that every small gesture can help our planet and our society . We have durable and washable porcelain dishes and stainless steel utensils (major changes to the dishwasher level having to be implemented!) Please note that the Times chain of Hotels has environment at heart: recyclable containers and materials are daily sorted by our staff and sent to the respective departments (By weight, we send equal amount of waste and recycling!) We carry out composting (which was not yet available for businesses in Drummondville), we are the 1st Hotel in Drummondville. All our light sources are 4watt LEDs (unlike 60w bulbs), our heating systems only heat or cool the occupied rooms, our pool is heated by an air exchanger which recycles the waste heat from the water pipes and ventilation, all our taps and showers are fitted with water flow reducers, all internal documents are printed on recuperated paper already printed on one side, all the furniture, mattresses, pillows are made in Quebec, all our suppliers are from Quebec , all the unclaimed lost objects are given to a local self-help organization, even our Christmas decorations are homemade with materials recycled from the construction of the Hotel (Our "fir tree" is made of old revalued wooden pallets!) Regards, Francis Hince

When you Walk in to the main lobby it’s like you entered the Gino’s Land. Your nose is full of cheap Malizia profmo d”intessa. Yuck. Stuff is pleasant but prefers to be on their phones than to talk to you. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably clean. Beds are decent you will get a good night sleep. So why 3 stars?
Stink in the lobby, ok staff and horrible quality of windows as you can hear cars from the main road that is 2 blocks away.

Clean hotel with modern decor. Friendly service. Free breakfast buffet was just ok...the coffee dispenser sat empty for a while and the boiled eggs were waaay overcooked. Disappointed not to find USB charging ports in the room...this is a new hotel after all. The bathroom was nice. Definitely a decent place to stay but nothing to write home about. Didn’t check out the pool.

A modern hotel, unsure if it’s brand new or new in the last few years. The room was very industrial modern which we loved. Only have a few complaints but very minor.
We travelled with our 10 month old and the bathroom was lovely but had a walk in shower & no tub. If it was us and no baby then perfect. We improvised and really it wasnt a huge issue.
The room had 2 queen beds, one was actually a murphy bed. Once we realized that, we actually tucked the bed away for space for our travel crib. Only complaint about that was - i dont think they cleaned under the cushions on the floor (what would form the couch) for quite some time. Im assuming they haven’t moved since the bed stays down. But there was lots of crumbs and dirt under the cushions and side table beside the bed.
We used the indoor pool. Kept fairly warm, towels are available at the front desk.
Off of the main road, minutes to the highway

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Times hotel. The hotel is clean and modern. Good staff and lots of easy parking. Good location as well. Close to the highway and restaurants.
My only issue is that the room I booked was described as a loft. "Mellow Loft" was the name of the room. It is one level. There is no loft. I have booked hotels with an actual loft before. An upper floor usually with the bedroom and sometimes a bath. I mentioned it to the hotel and they said that loft implies the ambience of the room and not any kind of amenities.
