Juliette and Kyro helped make this a rewarding experience, a wonderful alternative to a four hour wait in Dorval Airport and with great food. Entertaining views of aircraft and the assorted happenings outside the window and crayons at the table. The COVID protocols were there as well, with spacing in the seating area.
This hotel is great if you want to stay right in the Montreal airport- though that also makes it very pricey but it's worth it if you're waiting on a flight, etc. The rooms are large, comfortable and you can't hear much noise at all, we would never have known we were at the airport. That said booking was frustrating... We wanted to book a room and the website said rooms were available but I couldn't book one for whatever reason. I then called the hotel directly where I was told that yes, they had rooms but I had to call reservations so they transferred me. I then called reservations and the lady had the same issue as me where she could see that rooms were available but could not be booked. She suggested I call the hotel and gave me a number to get through. I called the hotel (again) and the woman I spoke with refused to book a room, she said I HAD to do it online or through reservations even though I told her it wouldn't let me. I ended up booking through a third party at a higher price and losing out on a 50$ bonus credit from my credit card. I wrote to Marriott to voice this issue and they forwarded my comment on to the hotel- which I never heard back from so I guess maybe they both can't book rooms and answer complaints?…
10 minute walk from baggage claim! after a long day of cancellations and delays was nice to have a short 10 minute walk to the hotel. Hotel is a little expensive but worth it Staff was great esp the guy in the morning lounge who made a great cappuccino .coffee and breakfast was very good. condition of hotel and rooms was excellent esp for a airport hotel
Fantastic hotel! Excellent service. I was very impressed by this hotel. It was a little on the pricer side but when leaving for a flight at 4 AM it made it so much easier to just walk out of your room down some escalators right to your flight without taking a taxi at that time. Room service was very speedy and food was great. Beds were very comfortable washrooms were luxurious. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely consider staying here again. If it was just a little less pricier. I give it a 4.5 cherries
We stated at the Marriott for a night barely 12hrs. Excellent service at the front desk, very professional and courteous. Rooms were spacious and very clean and modern with amenities. You will need your room card to use the elevators or else it won't work. It is not cheap but very accommodating since you are already in the airport , a very short walk away from the gates . The bottle of water in the room was $12 ….beware!! All in all a very good experience, will stay again if need be. hope this was helpful regards stud
This airport hotel has been renovated (according to publicity) and is now absolutely beautiful, both in public spaces and within the rooms. Even though it is outrageously expensive (we spent well over four hundred US dollars for one night for a standard room), there were, however, many flaws. The beds were soft and lumpy, the safe did not work (even after a workman inspected it), the television control was difficult to operate and the shower was badly designed. When one took a very quick shower, the water collected quickly and was soon flowing into the bathroom and, if we hadn't created a dam with towels, into the hallway. Also the hotel coffee maker, complex without instruction, contained only decaf coffee. I should also add that the personnel behind the check-in desk were not at all welcoming.…
We stayed here 3 nights and found the room spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. However, a few things prevented us from giving it 5 stars: - Daily maid service was not provided unless you ask in advance. We were not told of this at check-in - our bar frig did not work very well as it didn't keep our beverage cool - We would give 8/10 for the food at the restaurant - Breakfast buffet items were adequate, but rather limited and a little on the expensive side. Otherwise, the location is superb and we will not hesitate staying there again.
I staid in the Marriott Montreal airport hotel for 2 nights during a business trip in June 2022 and made the unpleasant experience that they do not clean your room anymore! When complaining at the reception I was being told that this was the new Marriott policy that rooms are not being made anymore. I staid in an executive suite and really asked myself what do you expect from a hotel stay being a busy business man: a clean room including a cleaned shower..and this for each night without that you must particularly ask for it every morning! Come on...that is what a hotel is for....for what else? It is clear to me that I will not stay in this hotel anymore next time; I consider this a terrible service and use Tripadvisor to warn other business guests
One night stay. Arrived around 10:30pm, kitchen closed. Attended the bar just in time for a rushed last call. The room was hot, over 23 celsius and didn’t cool down overnight. The menu on the TV remained partially visible no matter what channel was selected and the remote was not functioning correctly. Departing gift was the coffee maker not working in the morning. Won’t be back.
I stayed here for the Montreal Grand Prix as part of a package. My room was large, bright and the shower was big. There is a fridge and safe. A few things stopped me from giving it 5 stars. The cafe wasn’t open Fri, Sat and Sun so I had to stand in line with people waiting for a table in the restaurant to get a coffee. I don’t really like to use the in-room machines as I never know when they were last cleaned. Monday morning it was open. A 9 oz glass of Pinot Grigio was $21! I thought that was pricy. The breakfast buffet was also pricy but it was good. For the price I would have expected more choice. The drapes in my room did not block the floor to ceiling window so I woke up quite a few times once the sun rose. It was also quite noisy when people walked by my room. I was by the elevator so next time I’ll request one further away. If you want your room cleaned and made up, you have to request it. I wasn’t told that on check in. The spa was really nice. You can book online and the price for a massage was completely reasonable. Room service was fast and the food was good - yet very expensive. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There isn’t any delivery service available at this location such as Uber Eats or DoorDash. …
