I can't believe some of the negative comments I see about this hotel. Having stayed her dozens of times, I have never experienced anything of the sort. This is a superb hotel and you should consider staying here. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. Any requests you have they are only too happy to help. The rooms have recently been remodelled and very nice. My only complaint is the heating and cooling systems are a bit dated. It's unfortunate they weren't also upgraded in the remodel. However, they typically work fine overall with a bit of patience. Despite this, the rooms are always extremely clean and well appointed. I tend to stay here when traveling with our pets. The hotel is pet friendly and accommodating. I understand the fitness centre is undergoing a major upgrade which will be nice to see. I was a bit disappointed to learn the swimming pool will be removed to make way for this. Overall this is a great hotel. During covid times it is certain that some services are limited. Don't let a couple bad reviews influence you to stay elsewhere. As someone who's been here many times I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends/family. It's a great choice if staying in the area and I highly recommend it. I look forward to our next stay. Thanks to the staff for always being so great and helpful.

They’ve redone the rooms and they do look nicer. Sadly the AC is a disaster and always has been. In addition to the noisy/rattling fans now the AC simply doesn’t work. It seems to be centrally controlled. I walked into the room and it was 26C - nearly 80F. I turned it down to 21C; it never (even overnight) got below 24C. I’ve recently stayed two other times in different sections - same problem. Staff don’t care. Calls to Marriott were courteous and twice they said the manager would call. Never did. That says it all, especially now. Customer not important to this manager.

We extend our sincerest apologies for failing to ensure your recent stay was a comfortable one. Yes, we have been renovating our offering and continue to do so so, including upgrades to our HVAC (heating and ventilation) systems. Though your message indicates this has occurred before, the individual control in your room should have ensured easy temperature management. I assure you we do care a great deal about you and all our valued guests. If a member of the Marriott team made a commitment to you that we would be advised, I apologize that the message does not seem to have made it to my attention. Ultimately your stay should have been seamless. Our goal is to find a way to regain your confidence in our hotel and the Services we provide. Very disappointed to find restaurant not open. The main reason I chose this hotel over a Hampton Inn, Fairfield Suites, etc. was to be able to get a hot breakfast. No warning of this on the web site, which continues to feature a page touting how great the restaurant is. Also, the TV in the room I was assigned was not working. Had to wait for the repairman who tried unsuccessfully to fix it, and while he expected me to sit there watching him try, possibly all night, I finally asked to be moved to another room. No assistance moving my heavy luggage to the new room. No coffee maker in the room, although coffee is available in the lobby. Furnishings looked dated and scuffed up, badly in need of a refresh. Oh, and the airport shuttle doesn’t display the hotel name or logo, so it’s very confusing! On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the heating worked well. But overall, a case study in what a poorly managed hotel looks like.

Hello ConcordeOrphan - first and foremost, thank you for sharing your observations regarding your recent stay. Though critical of our offering your opinion is important to us. Indeed our restaurant and bar offering have been closed since the start of the pandemic this spring. At the same time we removed individual coffee machines from each room. We are currently (in keeping with local health authority directives) reviewing our options for the new year to partially re-open our restaurant and returning the coffee makers to each guest room. I apologize that the status of our service and offerings was not made clear to you prior to your arrival. We should and will do better in making that message clear. Your comments on the condition of the guest room your were assigned are noted. Our room renovation program was put on pause in late March. If conditions permit we are looking to continue the project in November. The renovations include the replacement of our in room entertainment offering. Given our very limited staffing during this difficult period, it is unfortunate we could not be more proactive in assisting you with the change in your room and your luggage transfer. Ultimately your stay should have been seamless. Once our renovations are competed and services at least partially re-opened I do hope you will reconsider our offering.

This was our second time staying at this hotel near the airport. We like the location and service is usually good. However this time our car was stolen from the hotel parking lot, during the night of March 13th, apparently at the same time as a previous reviewer. We arranged for a rental car to get home (at our cost). When I got home I asked to have our $15 parking charge refunded since our car was not parked there overnight- it was stolen! However, our request for $15 refund was refused. We were also told by police that this was not an unusual occurence in this parking lot. I understand that this type of thing could happen anywhere, but I would have appreciated a little more support on behalf of the hotel.

MY CAR WAS STOLEN from this location. They advertise secure parking yet my car was stolen from gated area. Security officer told me they didnt have a camera to check as there wasnt one where my car was parked He never asked where the car was.. We had been on vacation and came back in a snow storm to find the car was gone! Sheraton never offered food or even a place to stay. We were two hours from home. They said they could get us a cab service for $1000. We ended up getting our own cab at 2am which cost $300.. When I got home I checked my credit card and it was charged $81.81 for parking. Sheraton was not helpful and we were told by police that cars stolen from this lot was a normal thing.
