I needed a place to stay on very short notice. Being close to Niagara Falls all the hotel rooms in Welland except Niagara Residence & Conference Centre were book. The price is very attractive, and they had rooms available. With good reason. I'd say this is the proverbial port in a storm, when there is no place else to go...

In life you get what you pay for and all the whiney reviewers on here complaining that this is not a hotel are either blind or stupid. It advertises itself as precisely what it is – student dorms – and as a result, cannot be compared to the Waldorf Astoria! The rooms were basic and clean, the wifi was available...

My review is not on the quality of the hotel as I had to cancel. So my review is on the experience with customer service and a manager named Will. Unfortunately there was an incident that occurred that prevented me from being able to reach the hotel. Notified the hotel, and was told by the person at the desk that,...

As you probably know from other reviews, this is a dorm. I've stayed here a couple of times for my bike rides in Southern Ontario and encountered friendly staff, no troubles. I do recommend making sure you have an ethernet cable so you can use the in-room internet. Wifi is only available in lounges, which is my only complaint. The...

Stayed here for business. The staff was friendly and accommodating during check-in. Understood at the time of booking that it was a dorm and that was fine. Advertised FREE WiFi, but NO WIFI on the 3rd floor. Finally went to rest for the night and found what looked like mouse poop on the sheets and mold on the pillow. On...

It wasn't made clear in the online listing that this is a college residence. Lino floors and minimal carpeting in the rooms. Neither mine nor my companions's thermostats worked -- the rooms were chilly all night. Management charged my credit card the full amount THREE WEEKS BEFORE we checked in. The free breakfast was a madhouse of confusion -- not...

These units are set up as 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed, desk and tv, a shared bathroom with shower, and a shared kitchen with fridge and microwave. However there are no cooking utensils or dishes. It is perfect for a family or two couples -- it did not feel small. The suite is basic but clean. Breakfast...

My wife and I booked ourselves and two other couples into the Niagara Residence for a night after spending a day biking between wineries. We had no preconceived expectations - we knew it was going to be a college dorm and not the Hilton. We booked in because it fit the budget and was close to where we wanted to...
