First of all let me start of by saying this Motel is remodling and updating their rooms. Unfortunately we didn't get one. The room we got was clean alright, but beat up. The door didn't fit right, the lock was broken. The TV was turned on and off by plugging it in/out. The TV Remote didn't work..Fixtures were tore off in the bathroom. There were old chip bags left in the 'kitchen'. A bed sheet was covering the couch for whatever reason. The next day as nothing was made up, we asked for clean towels etc, they were brought to us along with a TV remote. The person stated that different people wanted different stuff, in relation to the service I am guessing. On the positive, the location is central and the grounds were very nice. The staff were friendly and nice. The manager/owner did apologise for the status of the room and explained the remodling going on. If you are staying here ensure you get an upgraded room. Check it out first.

There's a very helpul maintainance guy called Shannon who will look after any complaints you may have very quickly.
This is a great location for walking to stores like Bulk Barn,Giant Tiger and the Superstore along with Canadian Tire across the street. We parked our car outside
our room and felt very safe.

Four of us needed a room for the night and all was full in Trenton except for the Park Motel! Should have been our first clue. We ended up getting a cabin for the for of us. Good location, great layout, appeared to have been recently painted......but they should not have stopped! There was trim missing, the doors were filthy and the furniture, what little that was there, I'm guessing early 60's. We went around and clean everything that we had to touch such as handles etc. Surprisingly enough the bathrooms were clean and didn't smell. One bath room had a recent makeover. Also on inspecting the beds, once you got below the bedspread the linen was clean and fresh and the pillows didn't smell Once I have a clean bed and bathroom I can deal with the rest. The night turned out to be very cheap. But you get what you pay for!

This motel is run by such a nice family and the bed was comfortable but for me, that’s where the loveliness ended. A busy weekend in Trenton so not much available. Very close to the airbase, this motel runs about $140 a night. My room smelled so bad - the smell was apparent before I even unlocked the door - so bad I considered sleeping in my car. The smell was something like pinesol, urine, mould, I don’t know. The dishes were not particularly clean, cobwebs in the bathroom and kitchen, a lone spider in the bathroom and a large harmless crane fly hanging out in the corner of the room. The furniture must be fixed to the floor as it was filthy behind bed and end table. Doors could use a coat of paint or at least a wash. No reachable outlets near the bed. Although in a central location, I cannot recommend this motel. I’m sure it was a beauty in its time.

My boyfriend and I were staying here after a friend's wedding, we had driven in for the wedding from 3 hours away and all we needed was an inexpensive place to spend the night. The reviews didn't look too bad, but were incredibly deceiving! We arrived around 9pm and walked to get some food. When we got back and went to bed, I fell asleep very quickly (I had a cold and was not feeling well) and fortunately, my boyfriend stayed up and watched some TV. I say fortunately because around 11:30 he woke me up and told me to get out of the bed now, because there were bugs all over it. I jumped out of bed, and when we looked back and pulled the sheets back, the bed was crawling with bed bugs! We took pictures, which I will post soon, and went to the front desk and showed them to the owner, who told us that he had never heard of that before, but gave us our money back anyways and we started the long drive home. We had to stop and sleep at a rest station in the car, and when we got home everything that we had in the hotel room had to be disinfected and could not enter our homes. We had to take scalding hot showers, and all of our clothes had to be washed in super hot water in industrial washing machines, ruining a lot of them. I also had to pay to have my car cleaned to make sure that there were no bugs in it. It was all an expensive and large inconvenience, not to mention disgusting. So stay here at your own discretion, but I definitely DO NOT recommend Room #30.

We stayed in cabin 38 2 weeks ago. While the bathrooms had obviously been refurbished, and there was a new washer dryer in the kitchen, the rest of the cabin was in a dreadful state. The carpet was filthy and there was a general layer of grime on every surface. We could not lock our door from the outside. The stream outside the cabin was full of stagnant water and rubbish. I mentioned the fact that it was the dirtiest hotel room I had ever seen at reception next morning and just got a shoulder shrug. We could not wait to leave and we would not recommend it to anyone.

Do NOT stay here. The lock on the outside of the door did not work from either the inside or the outside - as a single female I attempted to sleep with the furniture pushed up against the door.

The room smelt of a combination of of damp/ mold/ urine and cigarette smoke. I was fortunate to have my own sleeping bag and pillow with me - I used those on top of the bed instead of the sheets.

Couldn't wait to get up in the morning and leave.

Stayed there 4 nights, businesses trip. Location is great and that is about it. There has been no maintenance done to the place whatsoever for the last 20 years or so. If you want a nice room, this is not for you. If you want as cheap as possible, this may be for you but...forget nice.

By far THE WORST stay I have ever had. The room REEKED of cigarettes / ashtrays. Unfortunately, being a long weekend there was nothing else available anywhere in the area, so we took it. We should have just left right then, but after a 3 hour drive to arrive late in the afternoon we were tired and decided to stay.

We thought we could get used to the smell, and turned on the AC and opened a back window while we were out for dinner. It was then that I noticed cigarette ashes on the shelf where the dishes are, along with a layer of grime and dust. The back window was stained yellow from nicotine. Stains ran down the inside bathroom door and floors were unswept. Ceiling light fixtures are yellow/nicotine stained.... Hair on the sheets from previous guest, and cigarette burns on the bedspread (throw them out!!). NIGHTMARE!!

When we came back after dinner, the cigarette/ashtray smell was even stronger than before! Honestly, it was THE WORST I had ever encountered!! We left the motel after trying to sleep for 1/2 hr, and made the long drive home last night. EVERY INHALE SMELLED LIKE WE WERE SLEEPING IN AN ASHTRAY... (I can't even believe we thought we could stay here)

I think whoever was smoking in there was using the window air conditioner as an ashtray! You could see noticeable debris in the unit. Providing fresh towels and wiping down the bathroom sink is NOT cleaning a room! It was REALLY HORRIBLE and disgusting -- have asked for a full refund... waiting for reimbursement.
