Everything was great. We pre-booked and our arrival and reception went smooth. We asked for a room on the main floor and we had one waiting for us .The room was clean and spacious. The parking was in the front near the main doors. Breakfast was in a large room . The food was the same as always, hot and plentiful.. The staff was engaging and knowledgeable about the region. The location is on the main street and centrally located. Although it was on the main street it was quiet. We were plaesaed as usual with the cstaff and the way we were treated.

We stopped here for the night while boating the Rideau Canal. You can tie your boat on a grey line, about 100 meters from the hotel. Room was really nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the hotel breakfast which was included with the room. Unlike many bland hotel breakfasts, this included real scrambled eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, potatoes, plus the yogurts, cereals, English muffins, toast etc. I travel a lot, and this was one of the best “included in your room” breakfasts I have had. Plus Mona, the woman running the breakfast, was very friendly and made the experience even better !!

It's a reasonable hotel for a night stay or two but not suitable for a longer stay. I believe it was a motel but upgraded to BW hotel with breakfast availability. During our stay we noticed exhaust fan of bathroom was making very loud noise and AC system was not working at first but started to work. You will also find some spider webs on the roof which means cleaning is fine but not best.

We constantly upgrade the hotel every year to ensure that the upkeep is good. Great facilities for our purposes! We usually stay here while competing in a tournament and the parking is great with power outlets for our boats! The breakfast folks also open breakfast a hour earlier than normal because they know that we have early days!

I was not impress with anything. Toilet never stopping running AC noisy . Its time this motel pay more attention on fixing stuff .. The food was limited and serving always the same option which it should vary day to day but not this place

Hi Mr. Laglace I am sorry you experienced this at our hotel. As you mentioned in our BW survey, you did not mention any of these issues furring your stay. We would have gladly changed your room to make your stay more comfortable. The breakfast is always made fresh in the morning. Unfortunately we don’t have a big facility to accommodate a wide menu for our breakfast for everyone’s tastes. However, 95% of our guests enjoy our full breakfast. Again. no hot water for shower in the morning, room was clean with a nice bed, and location was great . Breakfast was almost inedible, eggs appear to have been from a package, went across the street to get Mcdonalds instead.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I apologize for the experience you had at my hotel this past weekend. Our eggs are not packaged and made every morning by our lovely breakfast attendants. But I apologize for the state of the eggs. As for the hot water situation. Again, I apologize and have called our local plumber to check out what is not working. I know we changed the hot water tanks in the hotel last summer, so they should be up to par. Our stay was exactly what we needed for a one night stay: the room and bed were restful, all areas were clean, we were well fed fir breakfast and getting back on the road was convenient. Wish we could have stayed another night.

I stayed at this hotel and was happy with everything other than the sauna like heat in the room and the fact that the toilet did not work. Getting ready for a wedding and having to stick my hand in the top of the toilet was not exactly the greatest..
