The main lobby is not accessible; we had to go in a side entrance. We specifically reserved a room with kitchenette, but at check in found out there were no kitchenettes available on a floor with elevator access. The front dest manager did his best to find a room on the main floor, but not having the kitchenette as planned made our stay more difficult as I was recovering from surgery and was limited in food choices. Also, my husband had to speak to management in order to bring a breakfast tray to me in the room. It all just seemed burdensome at a time we didn't need complications. Despite the manager's attempts to find us an alternate room, we were not recognized at Best Western Rewards members nor were we addressed at all by name. However, the room was comfortable and clean and modern.

When I first walked into the reception area, there is a sign saying you have to go to the Sheraton to check in. With my fiancé having a broken leg, maybe they should have a big sign outside mentioning to go to the Sheraton first. It also makes you feel like you’re going to the second class option of hotels since they can’t even have someone at the Best Western desk. When I checked in, the lady booked us in the room furthest away from everything (so my fiancé had to walk that far distance). It’s fine if that was the only room available, but it seemed like she didn’t care.
I had asked to pay the security deposit by debit and didn’t mind paying extra so I didn’t have to use my credit card. She said it had to be paid by credit card (even though over the phone I confirmed this was allowed). She seemed annoyed that I even asked for the option. I ended up paying by credit card, fine. I also asked if I could have a late check out due to my meetings the next day. I find that $50 is a large fee considering the price paid for the room in general, but fine since they at least have the option. I didn’t find the place very welcoming and the surrounding area had a sketchy massage place and homeless people walking around the parking lots at night.

We travelled with a hockey group. The hotel can be confusing to navigate but there is an entire area with ping pong tables, a full basketball court, gym, pool, squash courts etc which was wonderful for our group of around 60 and active kids. There are also rooms to rent in the Sheraton for gatherings and another quieter pool. They were strict on drinks in the area (even water) but overall were very patient and kind with a large group. Overall we would definitely recommend it here.

This was a very nice hotel. It is adjoined and shares services with a Sheraton. My husband checked out the services but didn't have time to use them.
The room was clean and well laid out. We had a small balcony that we also didn't use. Two queen beds, a microwave, and a fridge gave us all we needed to stay self sufficient.
Housekeeping came in about every two days and replenished our towels etc. We stayed for 7 days so this was OK for us.
Checkin was done quickly and efficiently. We had trouble with our keys after a few days but a quick visit to the front desk cleared that up.
The services looked like an outdoor pool, Games room with snacks and a bar , raquetball courts, weight room anda message area. I don't know if there was an additional charge to use these.
The location was a bit far from all the attractions we wanted to see but we would have had to stay right downtown to be closer.
All in all we really enjoyed staying here.

The hotel shares parking with another facility finding parking alone was a frustrating experience. The rooms are very basic. The nightstand by my bed fell off the one after I put a bottle of water on it, it just missed falling on my feet. A bowing 747 is 10 times quieter than the bathroom fan was. The room cleaning was very basic, there was stains on the bed sheets and the towels were damp and smelly. I will guess there was a family with many rooms or some event for children happening in the hotel as the hallway was full of kids running from one room to another, twice we had kids knock on our hotel door looking for friends. I had asked the desk to speak to the parents about the hall way space as when i checked in I noted to the hotel I am a very light sleeper would appreciate a quiet room. I think there are other hotels in the area that would have offered a more comfortable stay and perhaps would have saved me some money as well.

Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean. This hotel is situated very close to the 407, making it for easy access to get on off the major highways.
Another excellent point is that it has free parking which makes the stay here more economical. Would definitely stay here again.

As a frequent hotel guest I was expecting a quiet, bright, fresh room. I checked in online the day before to ensure a good room as a BW Rewards guest. I was told that I had been upgraded to a suite. I thought this meant a 'better' room, and was sorely disappointed with the room I was given. I was placed in the basement, no windows, and 3 beds, even though I was traveling alone. The room was dark, outdated, and there was a humming from the bathroom. I called the front desk and the maintenance crew then came and went over the next 2 days and were still unable to fix the problem. I was awakened at one point by a second maintenance crew, and they too did not fix the buzzing coming from the adjoining bathroom. The light switch for the kitchen was broken so it would pop on and off at random times, and at one point I called again and stated the light would NOT go off. They then replaced the switch, the next evening. The water pressure is poor, and overall, the stay was not good. I expressed my concerns numerous times to the front desk who seemed disinterested in my concerns, and no change of room was offered. Overall, I would not recommend this location until renovations and upgrades are made. The stay was frustrating, disappointing and exhuasting.

Beautiful decor friendly staff they were extremely helpful quickly brought up things to my room when asked as well as were more than willing to extend my stay for an hour without any additional charge. The fitness center was beautiful it has a full gym and raquette club as well as a warm pool and hot tub. During the warmer months they also have an outdoor pool however it was not opened when I was staying. I definitely will be back again!

Hotel feels shady, no parking, share a parking lot with a rub and tug. hotel is a maze. not even a check in clerk at the actual best western, you have to go check in at sheridan then walk through a maze to find your room. would not even entertain the possibility of a late check out.
called for an extra blanket , waited 2 hours no blanket. food left in the fridge when we checked in our room.
Best western section appears to cater to long term worker stays at this location. lot of people putting obnoxious notes on the doors saying "worked night shift, trying to sleep during day, keep noise down" you ask yourself, why would the hotel book a block of rooms to a youth hockey team if this is the scenario? the best western hotel feels like a "pay by hour" motel. Just pony up the extra 25-40 bucks and stay at the sheridan (which is connected)

Dear Tourist778413, Thank you for sharing feedback with our team so we can continue to improve as we are welcoming more and more guests now that Covid-19 restrictions have been removed. We are delighted to see you rated your sleep quality as 4/5, which is a key indicator for hotels as we strive to provide a great night's rest for our guests. As you may be aware, there is a labour shortage across the hospitality industry, however our team is working hard to provide positive experiences for our guests. We apologize that you did not have the desired experience, and we have shared your comments with our Management Team to review areas for improvement. All hotels welcome guests from different segments, and we strategically block guests in different areas of the hotel in an attempt to maintain a quiet hotel for our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again soon.

Stayed for three nights and every day we had issues with our room key, on numerous occasions upon trying to enter our room the lock would malfunction and not accept our key. Ended up having to go to the front desk multiple times to get a new key. Room was unremarkable and bathroom/closet door was broken. Multiple times it would slide off the railing and we would have to lift it back onto the track. This hotel is extremely dated and is in desperate need of a proper renovation. Staff didn't seem very friendly even when walking back into the lobby I was never greeted. Don't recommend staying here.

There is no subway station close to the hotel so it would depend on the station you select. Most would have paid parking nearby and the odds of finding free on street parking would be slim
