The building exterior looked like it needed an update, but you can tell the rooms have been upgraded and really, that’s what mattered for me and my family. Laminate / hardwood floors are a plus - no gross carpet. The staff were kind and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed making their own waffles.

Below average hotel, located on one of Toronto's busy street surrounded by all kinds of restaurants and retail. The room was spacious with a comfortable King bed. The bathroom was fine, with a stand up shower, but no bath tub. The two-seater and table came in handy. Breakfast was included, coffee machine, microwave and bigger than a bar fridge in the room. The blackout curtain was not effective, light was still peeping through. The peep hole was covered, could not see through it. This is my first time staying in a hotel that did not have a clock in the room. On the morning of check out, there was no hot water, I had to take a cold shower ... brrrr. The service was not warm or welcoming. Location is excellent, walking distance to all the essential stores. The hotel is a bit rundown inside, but they've tried to update areas of it. Nonetheless, it served it's purpose for the trip.

We have stayed here more than two weeks. Friendly staff and cozy room, so far didn't have any issue in the room. Breakfast is fair but considering with the cost is good enough, especially waffle and coffee are good. Location is nice for commute and shopping around, especially in cold winter. Hotel a bit old which required to be upgraded later. Overall, it is a good choice with its price if you want a short trip.

spent one night in it with last minute booking, check in and check out process is smooth. Bedroom is cozy and we enjoy the breakfast as well. I manage to have a good sleep in it. It will be much better if toothpaste, toothbrush and slipper can be provided

Smells cigarette everywhere and the hallway is cloudy of smoke. You can hear all the outside noise from the hallway to your room. People talking at 2am after the party, bed frame is not stable. My daughter was scared to sleep on it.

The woman working the front desk - Aileen? - is an absolute treasure. She was so helpful and obviously cares very much about her job. The hotel itself leaves something to be desired. I think my room was renovated, because the flooring was new, but one of the mattresses was torn and the other had old, dried vomit on it. The door to the washroom was beat up and you could tell not a lot of attention to detail was paid to the renos. The housekeeping staff also cut corners when cleaning too.

Bring a sleeping mask and earplugs. The rooms are not equipped with proper curtains. The heating system is noisy and goes off every few minutes making for a disruptive night. Breakfast was served in the lobby and there were insufficient spots to accommodate all guests.

I will never stay here again, the whole property needs a major refurbishment. The rooms are awful, unclean and very old. The 'free' breakfast is disgusting and included a side of flies. I have been to many hotels and never stayed in one that I refuse to ever return to, until now. Spend the extra cash and stay somewhere slightly more expensive, you wont regret it.

A standard hotel at a good price; rooms were comfortable and clean.
The bathroom seemed a little run down.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast.
They are still advertising as buffet breakfast included and understandably, due to covid-19, they switched that for bagged breakfast.
My complaint is I booked a room for 4 and got 2 bags with barely any food - 2 per room.
If they are making extra money from this crisis this is a pathetic way to do it.
Giving people a banana and a bottle of water in a bag is a perfect way to insult your guests.
At a minimum I expected a bagel with cream cheese, or muffins.
If you cannot provide a decent breakfast then discount the rate!

Worked for me . Bathroom could use some work . The people at the front desk were very helpful and accomadating. They went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible! The breakfast person was also very accommodating. He tried to make sure everyone was taken care of.

Thats ok..they will not have an issue. But you will still pay for the night. Just call the hotel and ask them.

You can also call the hotel and ask. They will find out for you. When I stay there, I would ask for direction to certain place and they would print out what bus to take and where.
