A delightful 12 room gem with a grand lasting impression! Chock full of genuine hospitality from the simple and warm welcoming at check in to the “Will be back again soon!” checkout.
Jeff the owner is amazing! If you are looking for quaint comfort, cleanliness, helpful and engaging knowledge of the heart of Parry Sound then look no further than the Bayside Inn!
There are many styles of rooms available but even a “Basic” suite is all you will need to plan your itinerary. The theatre-esque nostalgic and traditional feel is a whole new world beyond entering the front doors. A true home away from home embraces you at every turn.
Enjoy a breakfast with many options or simply pull out a chair and enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the history and ambiance. From the free parking area infront of the Inn you can drive down or walk to the main transportation hub or catch a ride on the massive 30,000 Island Cruise boat of Georgian Bay.
We will definitely be returning to experience the superb hospitality and seamless efforts that the staff provides to ensure your stay at the Bayside Inn is beyond your expectations as well as ours was!

We stayed 3 nights at The Bayside Inn. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The location is excellent close to downtown and also to the bustling waterfront about a 3 minute walk to either places. Also have an elevator if you chose it use one. Would recommend when staying in Parry Sound.

Just after bookings started to open up after COVID closure we called to book 5 rooms for a family event in Parry Sound. The owner Jeff was extremely helpful and gracious. The rooms were all ready when we got there a little early. All were spotlessly clean and so comfy. Each room was a little different from the others. They all had great character. The hotel is centrally locates and an easy walk to the beach, the pier and all restaurants. COVID rules didn’t allow Jeff to have an open kitchen so we didn’t get to have the breakfast. Check in and out was extremely easy. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jeff

Cute, quaint place within walking distance of a couple restaurants and the Stockey Centre. Very sleepless night however with loud freight trains passing by even overnight. I’m a light sleeper kept awake by footsteps in room above ours.
Very clean rooms with hair dryer and bar fridge. Would recommend but bring ear plugs and hair conditioner (not supplied).

I came up for two nights with a colleague because we were in town for a conference. We felt very well taken care of by the hosts. They put our rooms close together and provided us a room with a living room/working space so we could work together easily and comfortably.

The beds were very comfortable, there is great coffee and breakfast in the morning, and it felt like we were staying with friends. You can walk to the water and restaurants, and parking is right out front.

This is the only place we want to stay if we come back.

We discovered this little gem of a place by chance on a recent roadtrip. We stopped in town for lunch at the Trestle Brewing Company and decided to stay in town for the night.

We were lucky to get the last room available at the Bayside Inn. We loved the Queen room that we got. Every detail was so welcoming and cozy. Very comfortable bed, large bathroom with shower and tub, and lovely decor.

The Inn is within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, boat tours, plane tours, and the waterfront.

Highly recommend this Inn for a nice weekend getaway. We would absolutely come back and we plan to make this a stop on our future roadtrips when heading north.

From the moment we reached the Bayside Inn, we were already smitten. The location was perfect - close to the downtown core and the water. The owner, who helped with our check-in was informative, thorough, and nice to talk with. The room was spotless; bed comfortable; the 2 water bottles in the fridge were a nice touch; the AC strong.

An added bonus, the COVID-19 protocols set in place were great and everyone adhered to it.

Disliked · Since it is close to the train tracks, it was quite noisy every time the train passed in the night.

This place is the cutest inn ever. Jeff the owner and host was outstanding. Made us feel right at home from the moment we checked in until we left. He was so personable and we really enjoyed how he took the time to share stories and give us ideas as to where to go to eat and what to see. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Walking distance to the town and marina and a lovely walking trail. We’d definitely come back here again!

This is a cute inn with some bumps. We were disappointed that the fireplace in our room (which is why I booked it) was not yet "programmed" so we couldn't use it. Rather odd since it was already October. The bed, though, was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Overall, our visit was just ok.

We had a great meal at the Trestle Brewing Company, which was close by. However, the next morning there wasn't anyplace close by for breakfast. The one restaurant we were going to go to was closed that day.

Just an observation - there is no breakfast served but there is coffee. I thought the breakfast/coffee room could have been tidied up a bit more as there were a lot of storage boxes, etc., which I thought distracted from the area.

A very nice stay. Very comfortable room with a jacuzzi tub and everything we needed for our comfort. Owner was quite pleasant and check in and out very easy.
We loved it and would return
Our only issue was that we were unable to get online for the entire visit. We even tried out in the lobby but nothing.
We can’t comment on the breakfast as Covid restrictions were still in place

Not sure about balconies. Our room on the 3rd floor did not have one. There was parking in 2 places: a lot across the street, as well as directly in front of the Inn.
