We stayed at the motel Aug 27 & 28th, 2022. The small room was clean however it was extremely outdated, and our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. They advertised a continental breakfast, but we couldn’t find it. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We are on a cross country driving trip staying in lots of different types of motels and hotels on the way. This motel had the largest gap between the pictures of what a room looked like and what we got, and it was a little bit disappointing. We may have been put in a dilapidated room as ‘pet friendly’. It wanted for some more cleaning. Staff was friendly and helpful though. You could also see efforts to maintain flower gardens and outside areas.

Stayed here based on good reviews. Check in host was very pleasant and provided a small container with snacks (assuming as breakfast). Room was super clean. I was impressed. Had issues trying to get Live TV on the flatscreen; however, wasn't a big deal as I was there to sleep.

Decent spot. Fairly quiet. The pots of flowers outside are really inviting. Guy at the front desk was efficient. I got an email through Expedia asking when we would arrive. Cool. Room 4 is partially updated. The beds are super hard so if you are like my husband you will have a good night sleep. The sheets are rough. I didn’t think I was a princess, but it seems I am. So, between that and the hard mattress and the lights outside the window of room 4 that make you think it’s morning all night long (because you are wake due to the aforementioned rough sheets and hard mattress) you will be thankful that Tim’s is just down the street.

On our trip to Northern Ontario, we stayed at the Town and Country motel or a night. This is a below average place and one really gets what one pays for. To me, this was not a place for families. Neighbouring tenants sat outside, smoking, drinking and made it very uncomfortable for me to get out of the car and enter my room. Thee palce looked a bit shady. and I would never stay hear again.

Stayed here for 1 night when visiting Killbear National Park. Basic but extremely clean and comfortable. Fridge and Microwave in room which looked like they had never been used. Lots of hot water - great shower in the morning. Would definitely stay here again. The place had obviously been sanitized which is important in the present time .

Simple room, but extremely clean, which is very important to me as i have young children. Sheets have no stains or tears, bathroom very clean, no watermarks or mold on ceiling or walls (which is the norm for older motels), no rust on the windows or fittings, wood furniture, comfortable bed and pillows. Well-sized rooms, I had the room with 2 beds, 2 side tables, a large table, 2 chairs, tv, coffee maker, microwave and fridge, and there was still room to move about. Floor is a mix of wood and tile, which is great as carpet rooms tend to smell musty. The microwave and fridge came in handy as we were there for 3 nights. It was a cool night, so we slept with the windows open and had the fan on, the fan made very little noise. The view to the back window was a large back yard, mature trees and some properties. But it felt safe enough for me to open the windows. Close to amenities (No Frills, gas station, etc.), competitively priced. Over all, extremely well maintained and very clean property. We cooked breakfast on the designated patio, which was allowed. Sam and his wife were very friendly and accommodating, lovely people. Would definitely stay there again. It is a much better property than Comfort Inn and Super 8.

It's a no frills motel. Great if you're spending one night. I wouldn't want to spend any more than one night. Great location and that was the main reason for picking it. The owners were friendly. The bathroom is small and the tub is slippery, but all in all it's value for your dollar.

Our family has owned a nearby property for almost 80 years, so we have stayed at many other places in the area before we finally tried the Town & Country. The Town & Country is easily the best value around. It’s an independent, no frills place- very clean with a friendly family owning and operating it.

We found the bed to be super comfy. It was clean and had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. A great tv with tons of channels. Nice and quiet and close to everything. A nice little mom and pop motel. And the price was right. I liked that you could open the back window for fresh air and you were well above street level so nice and safe. They let us park our boat and trailer no problem. A young couple trying to make a go of it. Happy to help out.
