Such a beautiful property - you feel like you're away from it all but you still have such great luxuries! A comfy bed in a nice clean bright tent, hot outdoor showers, a private beach and waterfront deck to enjoy the sunset. James and Dympna are great hosts and always have the best suggestions if you are looking for something to do or... just sit in a hammock and let the world go by!

Come back soon! We just got a monster 6-person group hammock for the waterfront. It is pretty cool and I think you would enjoy it. It is a great place to lay and dry off after a swim!

I love staying at Harmony, whether in the B&B or in a glamping tent. Waking up in the tents is lovely; surrounded by nature's sounds. Each tent has an adorable little outhouse and there are quaint additions; signs and finishing touches which make it all so unique. The stone staircase to the tents is magical, especially when lit up with fairy lights at night! This place has been created with love and attention to detail. Doing yoga on the raised deck at the waterfront adds to the zen experience; I also enjoyed playing on/in the water and a cosy fire on the beach in the evening. Exploring the "Hobbit Trail" is always a fun little hike, with great views! The Pavillion has everything you need to cook, eat and meet up with friends new and old! We will definitely be back!

My sweetheart and I stayed at Harmony Outdoor in for what was intended to be a city-getaway quick visit with friends. The grounds are absolutely magical and exactly what we needed, and we loved it so much we stayed an extra evening (I was able to work remotely due to the good wifi connection provided). The tent we stayed in was exceptionally clean and spacious with a comfortable bed (!), solar-powered lights and its own cute, clean, composting outhouse (who knew outhouses could be cute?!). The tents are a good distance apart, allowing distance from others. The pavilion is lovely, spacious and useful, with good access to water. Its decor and 'fairy lights' suit the space perfectly and make it extra charming. All in all, we got the air, the sun, the forest we were seeking, a

Had An absolutely amazing weekend with a group of friends here let fall. Can’t wait to come back this year when open. The owners took every opportunity to make sure we were all very well taken care of. Why 5 stars? Great price, incredibly clean accommodations, very tranquil, fun, showers were hot, bathrooms clean, yoga platform was well used, the pavilion was so great for preparing and eating food, playing games, relaxing. All in all an amazing weekend I can’t wait to do again!

Hello, berkemicwe hope you do come back soon! Couples that book to visit at the same time always seem to have a great time. Some bring wine down to the dock as the sun is going down, others play games in the pavilion on a rainy day. Whatever it is we enjoy seeing people relaxing and using our facilities together.

We stayed for just a weekend in the Ironwood Glamping tent. The grounds are really cute, clean, with everything you need: each tent has its own composting outhouse, the showers were clean with free body wash and shampoo, the shared kitchen has everything you need (and a few BBQs!), there is a yoga area (classes in summer), a nice beach and free canoes and kayak’s for use. The actual tent was romantic. It had a real bed and was very spacious. There are lamps in the tent that work off of solar panels (there is also a USB plug for charging your phone). The only downside is the proximity to the highway (which honestly by day 2, we did not notice much) and the trains. There are two train lines that go through Parry Sound. I’m a light sleeper so I just wore ear plug (also

Very nice facility but the highway noise is too much. Our Glamping Tent (Ironwood) was clean and very private. The dining area was generally clean but it didn't seem to get much attention from the owners while we were there. For example, empty propane tanks, dirty dish towels not picked up for washing, etc. I cannot say enough about the noise though. Whether you're at the waterfront or one of their Glamping Tents the noise from highway is too much. There were a number of trains passing through in the middle of the night as well. They even provide ear plugs to try to help but its not enough. Recommend double hearing protection!

Hello Joe B thanks for coming to stay at Harmony and we are glad that you enjoyed your clean and private tent. We are the first to admit that depending on the day of the week or time of the year, some nights can be noisy from trains or the highway. We are not a location that is a long way off the beaten track. What you give up in silence from a more remote location you gain by being 5 minutes to restaurants, shops, Georgian Bay and it also allow us to offer free high-speed internet! Sorry that you didn't have a good night's sleep during your visit.

Stayed at the b&b so no complaints about noise. Couldn't figure out how the temp control worked so the ac kept coming on. It has been a really hot summer so better too cold than too hot I guess. Superior suite had a great bed and even greater shower! The breakfast was awesome with poached eggs. Dympna (hope I got the spelling right) was a wonderful hostess. Wife and I walked around the property...very nicely laid out and maintained

Like another recent reviewer, we too struggled in deciding how to rate Harmony Outdoor Inn. We've settled on a "Poor" rating because, while we were very satisfied with the quality of the glamping tent, and appreciated being able to take a canoe or kayak or paddleboard out on the water at no charge, we were VERY disappointed with how close the Inn is to a very busy highway, with the roar of traffic constant including through the night. It was so loud we could scarcely hear any birds or other sounds of nature - which was a big reason we chose the Inn in the first place (not knowing any better). At home, we are fortunate to live on 17 acres of woodland and ponds with the music of nature always around us. It was just so unfortunate for us to not be able to experience something

Bee...I agree...very noisy because of highway...otherwise, I would return...but as you say...trying to get away from the city. Food is good. Rooms are nice but must keep windows closed. Bring bug spray...lots of mosquitoes but to be expected as you are up North.

We stayed here for a single night on the way home from a trip - as all worthwhile hotels and motels nearby were booked up, we were looking for something different. This place did not disappoint!! The main reason I didn't award this place a full 5/5 stars is the check in & check out process; while the casual, easygoing nature of Harmony is great, there is no clearly marked office or "front desk," so we had to track down a staff member who happily gave us an impromptu tour. When checking out, we faced a similar dilemma and were ultimately told that payment had already been processed online and we could just leave. A few well-placed signs or a bit more information in the confirmation email would have really improved this process! Do heed the warnings of previous reviewers: the Inn
