Located in the town of Parry Sound and minutes from Georgian Bay, Harmony Outdoor Inn is a peaceful glamping (Glamorous-Camping) retreat and Bed and Breakfast. The 16-acre property on the Seguin River has a beach perfect for swimming or paddling. We have Stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes available for your use at our private waterfront. On-site we also have free high-speed internet and parking. For those staying in our luxury bed and breakfast, you will enjoy a delicious fresh range of food in the morning. Guests staying in our glamping tents in the woods have access to our hot cedar outdoor showers, fully outfitted covered outdoor kitchen/pavilion area, communal fridge, and composting outhouses. Come and hang out in our huge waterfront hammock or sit in a Muskoka chair by the water. We also offer day trips kayaking and Adventure Boat tours on Georgian Bay. Guests staying with Harmony get a 10% discount on tours.
The owners provide a laid back, charming welcome to their simple yet very functional little escape in the woods. Small details like: lighted wood chip foot paths, solar lights in the tents and an extensive deck to catch the sunset are welcomed. There is a communal pavilion to BBQ and refrigerate your food. A great feature is the HOT shower! Easy to find which unfortunately also makes it easy to hear the highway traffic in your tent. Still, glamping comes with options; a private beach, kayak rentals, and Starbucks 10 mins away. A great alternative choice to a motel.

I love adding on a visit to Harmony Outdoor Inn after the Paddlepalooza weekend. Beautiful property, comfy beds, friendly atmosphere...I could live here :) The hammocks have a great view, and are a nice spot to relax after a long day. My friend and I rented kayaks in the morning and enjoyed a leisurely paddle on the Seguin, practicing our strokes, and then doing rolls by the dock. I'll be back next month...

So different then anything else. From the time we arrived, we were amazed. Woodchip trails lead us to the waterfront and to our quarters. Such a relaxing environment. Paddling off the beach and relaxing in a hammock on our return. Refrigeration to keep our food cold and BBQ's to cook really lightened how much we had to bring in. Would not hesitate to return...and already planning it.

My girlfriend and I stayed here last summer. We left our downtown offices on a Friday afternoon and made quick time to Harmony in a couple hours. We were greeted by a personalized chalkboard sign welcoming us to the Inn and inviting us to make ourselves at home for the duration of our stay. We went straight up to our tent called Ironwood and that's when we knew we discovered something awesome! The prospector tent was cozy and comfortable and the picturesque scenery and solitude brought all together for the perfect weekend retreat! We cooked a nice dinner in the screened in pavilion and took it down to the beach and relaxed with a glass of wine as the sun set looking forward to a perfect weekend retreat! And that is exactly what we got! It was so simple to relax, I didn't…

An amazing place to stay in Muskoka! The owners of Harmony Outdoor Inn are always gracious and welcoming after the quick 1 1/2 hour drive north of Toronto. The swimming in the Seguin river and mountain biking kept us busy for hours. Yoga, kayaking and SUP were at the top of our list of optional activities, and relaxing in the glamping tent is my favourite way to getaway in a luxurious way!

What an amazingly relaxing place. As soon as we stepped out of the car the stresses of the city and the week just disappeared. Spent two days just chilling by the water or curled up in the cozy tents. Will definitely be back!

We were here in early spring and came back again in the summer! It's a wonderful property. Gorgeous scenery, great activities, lovely hosts. It's its own little community. From kayaking to paddle boarding to yoga by the water and dinners in the pavilion, you will feel so relaxed and renewed. We can't wait for our next trip back :-)

My boyfriend & I experienced a perfect weekend at Harmony and without a doubt, we will be back again! The environment is peaceful and beautiful, the grounds are well maintained and the tents are very comfortable. With access to kayaks & canoes there are many activities to do. The best part is the little to no pre-planning stress. Aside from your personal belongings, you don't need to bring anything else! With the pavilion fully equipped & a grocery store a quick drive away, its an easy mini vacation. You must try the glamping experience here!

Hi Marlayna, We are really happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! You are right that you don't need to plan ahead much. With a grocery store and all the amenities of town so close it is easy to stock up and then retreat to Harmony Outdoor Inn. We were glad you guys got to head out and do some kayaking and then come back to cook a nice meal in our pavilion. The couples mini-vacation is definitely a great use of our retreat. Looking forward to seeing you guys back here again next year. All the best, Dympna

A friend and I stayed here in the middle of July. We fell in love instantly with this place. The very natural setting and beach make it so relaxing. We are campers so the "glamping" aspect made it super comfortable. We were happy to use the brand new outside kitchen and pavillion as well as the outdoor showers and bathrooms since everything was so clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the train tracks in close proximity. So if you are not a deep sleeper, ear plugs are needed.

Hello and thank you for your review! It is great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us so much! My wife Dympna said she had a great time chatting to you and your friend during your stay. Parry Sound has some beautiful trestle bridges running through town. It is possible to hear the trains in the distance from everywhere in town. Sometimes they run sometimes they don't. For any light sleepers we have complimentary ear plugs!
