I stayed over one night a couple months back when visiting friends in Owen Sound. It was very nice. Clean and comfy room for just the one evening without any issue. Same experience as on previous stays. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Came up Owen Sound on the weekend to do some snowmobiling with friends, and decided to get a room here for the night. First of all, I was pleased with the managers friendly and helpful customer service . Secondly the room I was given was very clean and neat. This room provided everything I needed to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. A refrigerator, TV, WIFI, temperature control access of room radiator, microwave, hot shower, closet space, comfortable bed and with the security door locks... felt very safe there. The last thing I was pleased with, was the affordable rate. I only required a single room, but was given a double room for the same price. That was a bonus. I checked out around ten in the morning feeling refreshed and well rested for another day of sledding. I can't vouch for other peoples experiences, but my own personal experience here was wonderful . If you are ever in town for a few days , I would highly recommend the Travellers motel to anyone.

Stayed here one night on a Thursday. Drug deal in the parking lot as I arrived. Working girl in a room at the end of the upper hallway. Rooms are VERY old and dated. I slept very little (on top of the covers, fully clothed, thank you) and was gone VERY early. Do not recommend at all.

Missing or burned light bulbs; previous visitors clothes in the wardrobe; stale air no refreshed room; smelly reception; malfunctioning water drain; noisy hotel; deactivated key on false perception that we had dogs. Clean and well located.

I had a very nice day at the Travelers Motel in Owen Sound. The price was very good and I got a clean room with heat and hot water. What more is needed. Great place for short stay. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming.

Apparently, we have smoking accommodation in Canada, which turn out to be less than regulatory non-smoking, in this motel charged at a premium. Cost of one night in this place equals to a boutique hotel in Waterloo or Cambridge.

Upon arrival, the place was a little confusing to understand. We saw the motel, old wing, before seeing the office. The man who checked us in spoke English as a second language, and had a hard time communicating, was also very soft spoken, making it that much harder to understand. As we were checking in, a group of people happened to walk by and had a brief look inside my car as well... non-related to the motel, but was unpleasant and did not sit well with me. We were given a room, went and parked beside the only other car in the lot and walked into the new wing. Used the keycard to enter the room and there were people inside. We went to the office again and he told us there shouldn’t be anyone in that room. After a few moments we were given a new room. I knocked before entering this time, but the coast was clear. It was very difficult to operate the shower. We were unable to adjust the temperature of the water while maintaining the same pressure. The bed was very hard and noisy. With every small movement, it squeaked and creaked. Very irritating for someone who rolls around in their sleep. I was taking a nap early afternoon and the housekeeper and owner (I’m assuming), were arguing over which rooms she was allowed to clean, outside my door. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for... They do offer the cheapest rates in town.

Rooms in their new wing are like 3-star hotel. If I am getting room in the new building every time I come back, I wouldn’t bother paying extra at higher priced travellodge, or comfort inn. Highly recommend to anyone looking for budget accommodation. Don’t hesitate if it’s your first time in owen Sound. Ensure your room is in their new building.

Newly renovated, this motel is amazing, firm bed had the best sleep. It was so quiet. We will definitely be coming back here again. My kids wanted to stay forever! So close to shopping and hiking trails, with waterfalls. Large grassy area behind for the kids to run.

Fantastic new accommodation in behind the new office. Awesome rain shower head. Huge deep bathtub for soaking. Beautiful Only suggestion is to install security peep holes in door because the main doors into building do not lock so ANYONE can walk into the building and if anyone knocks on the door you can't see who's at your door. Otherwise a fantastic motel.
