The staff at Owen Sound Inn are super friendly. They are in the middle of renovations and from what I saw the renovations of the bathrooms is a total upgrade and amazing work being done by the gentlemen doing the work. The rooms are a good size with everything you could need. It was quiet and whether looking out a front or back balcony, the view was so amazing. I will definitely be back in the warmer weather to explore more and stay at Owen Sound Inn. Thanks for an awesome stay and amazing visit

Booked a Saturday and Sunday stay. Wednesday an immediate family member was hospitalized. Attempted to cancel the booking and was refused as it was "not within their cancellation window of 72 hours." An Expedia representative also attempted to cancel the booking and was also refused. Adding insult to injury, on the way home from the hospital Saturday evening, this property phoned to enquire when we might be arriving. Very confusing and hurtful. Just FYI to anyone considering booking here.

Bad experience here. Avoid this place, and spend the extra few bucks up the street for a good motel where you will have some privacy and be treated like a grown up (not a child.) Owner has some very unusual eccentricities which you will discover for yourself should you ever make the mistake and attempt to stay here. Rude, spies on guests, and looks for ways to make more money...then throws you out. If I could rate this as a zero I would. Overall ratings are misleading, as they are from the previous owner.

My wife spoke with a super nice gentleman when she recently booked this motel over the phone. When our family arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. It was well furnished with two queen beds, a desk and chair, microwave, large fridge, chest of drawers, and tv. The bathroom was clean and quite large. The beds were clean, very comfortable and we all had a good night's sleep. Our room was at ground level so it was easy to unload our luggage. The rooms on the second floor each had a private balcony. Honestly, as far as roadside motels go, this place deserves top marks. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip through Owen Sound.

First of all, it's a motel, not an "inn". Though that's not a big deal. For a budget motel, it's of good standard. While not perfect, everything works. Bathroom is clean, which is the most important thing as far as I'm concern. Room is clean too. There's but one major distraction. The owner, who're probably from India, and the owner's family lives on the premise. They obviously need to eat and cook their own meal everyday. Probably as a result of that, the office area smells strongly of curry, which is pretty overpowering. As one need to go by the office on the way in and out, one's sense of smell is assaulted every time. Would I stay there again? If I can't find a better option, I would.

The owner of this hotel is extremely rude. He has some interesting quirky rules such as do not mess both beds if you are the only person in the room. He likes to spy on guests and treat them like children scolding them for any wrongdoing however small. Generally I am a very passive guest but I cannot tolerate the owner of the hotel treating me like a child rather than a paying guest.

This motel room was filthy. Very visibly dirty floors that looks like they haven’t seen a mop for weeks. Thick layer of dust in every corner and all surfaces above eye level. Thank goodness the sheets and towels appeared to be clean. Not worth the price even though nightly rates are relatively low. Avoid at all costs if cleanliness is important to you…especially in a pandemic!

Owner is terribly rude and unmannered. Spies on you , and looks for excuses to throw you out.....but not before trying to get more money out of you. If I could rate this as a zero I would. Go somewhere else where you will be treated with respect.
