Just what one would expect of a good motel chain. Comfortable, clean room with good Wi-Fi. Sadly, the bath plug was broken and the bath drain partially blocked so the shower water only drained away slowly. Also, the plug in the bathroom sink did not close. These last two maintenance items let the room down. Breakfast the next morning was good and what one would expect.
This place is great. The people are very friendly and the room was clean. the bed was very comfortable. They have a very good hot and cold breakfast. it was nice and quiet so had a good sleep. and best of all the price was right . We will be back
Spent three days here recently while visiting a local relative in town. We found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and quiet. We primarily stayed here because they are a pet friendly hotel and we traveled with our two dogs. Ask for a room that opens up to the back parking lot and your patio doors make it convenient to take the dogs out! The bathroom could use a shelf above the toilet as the vanity hasn't got a lot of storage room for toiletries. A screen door on the patio doors would also be helpful to let fresh air in while keeping the dogs inside! Really nice staff here - friendly and efficient. The complimentary breakfast was excellent - eggs, taters, sausage, an incredible waffle machine, fruit, cereals, toast, coffees and juices, muffins and turnovers all kept fresh and hot - the microwave in the room heated up what got a bit cool so no worries there. Good sized fridge in the room, VERY comfortable beds. This property is well located close to town, walking distance to WalMart, LCBO, grocery stores. They also provide picnic tables and covered BBQ's (2) for the guests use...can it get any better than that?…
We stayed in a ground floor room at the back with a sliding door to the parking lot. There was a good-sized lawn with picnic tables and two barbecues, bordered by a woodland, so we had a view of solid greenery past our car. The room was quiet and clean, beds large and comfortable. The front desk staff were invariably friendly, helpful and competent.Everything in the room worked. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dog, a peaceful Labrador retriever. We mostly had take -out suppers , eaten at the picnic table outside or in the room, so our dog could stay with us at all times . Half-an hour drive to the Awenda Prov. Park, 10 min drive to Wye Marsh, both great.
Although we paid a lot more money than I’m sure it would have cost normally if we had booked in advance, the room was excellent and the staff was helpful. We had a king room with a comfortable bed and everything was clean. The hot/cold breakfast was great and it makes staying there worth it. It’s a bit of a walk to get downtown but if you are willing to walk the 2-3 kilometres there are some great restaurants. It was a nice place to stay!
