We visited Kitchener/Waterloo for a conference and stay here for 5 nights. The setting is quite lovely with a koi pond and lush gardens. Our hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating and the room we stayed in was impeccably clean and comfortable with everything you could want. Breakfast was delicious as well and the company delightful.

It was a “Home away from home” experience. Eleanora & Dave gave us a warm welcome, showed & explained the suite we had booked & served us a delicious breakfast. The spacious bedroom/sitting area with adjacent kitchenette was ideal for us, spotless & sufficiently stocked for our needs. Not only was the accommodation spot-on but Eleanora & Dave were so interesting to chat with & share stories.

We awoke to a beautiful snowfall our first morning which made their backyard turn into a snowglobe stage while we enjoyed our breakfast! Definitely an R&R, return & recommend!

All the good things one hopes to experience in a bed and breakfast are present at this outstanding location. Thoughtful details in our accommodations, wonderful breakfast, stimulating conversation with hosts Eleanor and David as well as other travellers contributed to a relaxing and delightful stay. We enjoyed the amenities provided in our large space which included large bedroom, an adjoining kitchen equipped with sink, bar fridge, microwave and a private bathroom. Our two night stay felt like a visit with warm and welcoming family.

Eleanor and Dave were wonderful hosts. They are great conversationalists. The house is in a lovely established quiet treed neighbourhood. The room was large with large windows overlooking the Coy Fish pond in the backyard, air conditioned, separate bath with large walk-in shower, and it included a small bar fridge too. There is a side door in the bedroom where you can walk out and downstairs to the yard without having to go through the house. The backyard is nicely set-up with the dining table open but protected under a permanent structure. Music was always playing. We were greeted at breakfast with a nicely-set table, with yogurt and fruit, and a veggie and cheese frittata with coffee. Eleanor and Dave sat and ate with us and we heard all their varied adventures. I would highly recommend the Forest Hill Bed & Breakfast for your stay in Kitchener. Thank you, Eleanor and Dave.

Eleanora and Dave are welcoming hosts of this B&B which is conveniently located for visits to the Kitchener-Waterloo area. The suite was well-equipped with an excellent bathroom, fridge, snacks, and drinking water, and breakfast was delicious. The backyard is centred around a beautiful koi pond which is a tranquil place to sit, read and reflect with the sounds of bubbling springs in the background.

My stay at the Forest Hill B&B was wonderful! Eleanora is such a lovely, thoughtful and thorough host. The B&B is located on the most beautiful street that is so quiet but close to everything- great location. The suite was spotlessly clean, spacious and so comfortable. Everything I could have needed was already thought of, including a little snack bar right in the room! Breakfast was absolutely delicious and so filling! I will definitely be staying again!!

This is a review I'm, writing after visiting the Forest Hill Inn B&B. It was an amazing place. We visited the town of Kitchener which I found so exquisite (reminded me of the town of Cobourg) which also has a Victoria Park. The outdoors has been well maintained by the owners including a koi fish pond with amazing details. It all lights up at night. Our spacious suite was very clean and Eleanor had finishing touches here and there with some snacks and sodas for a late night snack. She takes the time to explain about the TV with its different channels and the extra towels, blankets etc. After a tiring day, a quick shower, we were all set to jump into our cozy bed. The next morning Eleanor had a lovely healthy breakfast of a fruit cup with yoghurt, home made jams and toasts and some tea, coffee and fruit juice. She made us an omelette with some healthy vegetables. etc. We enjoyed our conversations with our hosts, Dave and Eleanor. All in all, I would say if you are looking for a place to spend a restful night with a homely touch, I would suggest Forest Hill B&B.

Wow, where to begin? My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Forest Hill B & B on July 14 and 15 for a delightful couple of nights. We were in the area to attend a wedding. We were warmly welcomed by our hostess Eleanora who helped us to get settled in. The lower suite was very spacious. We had a great sleep in the comfortable queen size bed. We enjoyed a 50” HDTV. A highlight was being stylishly served a freshly prepared delicious breakfast for both mornings out on the deck. Eleanora’s homemade jam was divine. Breakfast was wonderful along with insightful conversations with the hosts Dave and Eleanora. We also enjoyed the company of other guests. It was more of a sense of old friends meeting than first time visits. We enjoyed their adorable, cute dog Bella. They have an enchanting and secluded backyard with koi fish and huge trees. Their beautiful lit and stunning backyard has special lighting which adds to the beauty of the yard. It is peaceful and tranquil. It was a relaxed atmosphere. Eleanora and Dave exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend staying here and if we return to Kitchener we would absolutely stay here again.

The suite I stayed in was beautifully decorated and very clean. The fridge with cold drinks and the snacks were a nice surprise. Private entrance so I could come and go without bothering anyone. The bed was very comfortable and room quiet for sleeping. Eleanora and Dave were available if needed and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with them and another guest before I left. They go out of their way to accommodate their guests and make you feel welcome. Hope to stay there again.

Our excellent hosts, Eleanora and Dave, welcomed us to their most delightful B&B with genuine warmth and care. Our Lower Grand Suite offered a bright and spacious sitting area and a very well-stocked kitchenette. A dish of Swiss chocolates and tray of granola bars were lovely touches to greet us in our suite. We spent a very comfortable night, and by morning, we were treated to a delicious and fulsome breakfast: rich aromatic coffee, a fresh fruit and berry cup with yogurt, a flavourful vegetable fritatta and salsa, and warm buttered toast that we slathered with homemade berry preserve. Eleanora and Dave's cheerful hospitality and thoughtful attention details ensured that our stay was picture-perfect and memorable. A fantastic place to stay in the KW area!
