First time staying at Sutton Park Inn. Michael Sr and his family and staff are amazing! Our rooms opened to the courtyard with picnic table and chairs. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable with updated washrooms, very comfortable beds, sofa, and very quiet a/c units. The Asian restaurant attached is excellent. And the included breakfast was amazing. Not your basic continental breakfast here. The offerings here include hot food...bacon, sausages, hash browns, waffles, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and the list continues. We will definitely recommend Sutton Park Inn to friends and family. Thank you Michael Sr. for making our stay so enjoyable. We will see you next year. Enjoy your summer! From rooms 128 and 126.

We discovered this beautiful lakeside town of Kincardine on our way back from Tobermory (beacuse every room within the 100km range of the Bruce Penisula was booked). It has lovely beaches, crystal clear water. The hotel has many rooms and we had a pleasant stay.

This is an older hotel that has upgrades on all the important stuff: new beds, new linens, new bathrooms, new HVAC and new windows. What hasn't changed is the older big bathtubs, hooray! The footprint of the rooms hasn't changed either. The sink is outside of the bathroom and the furniture is older. A full continental breakfast is included, with tea, coffee, fresh fruit, juice, toast and pastries, even a waffle maker. We found that some parts of the breakfast were available all day. Our pet-friendly room had a door which opened directly into the interior courtyard which made everything so much easier. This hotel has a good Asian restaurant on the premises for lunch and dinner. We left the dog tied outside the restaurant window so we could keep an eye on him easily, as well as the front desk watched him too. Very useful after a long day in the car. What really impressed me most was some of the beautiful artwork that has been added here and there. Check out the sculptures and paintings in the lobby and the framed needlework in the corridors. Not a polished chain hotel, but that's not what we wanted anyhow.…

Great hotel for the price. Kincardine is super expensive to stay and here is so reasonable. Micheal is awesome. So friendly and accommodating. Works hard to ensure a great stay. Rooms are standard motel but clean and quiet. Breakfast is good with lots to choose from. Go for the waffles ☺

At one time Howard Johnsons probably put a fair bit of investment into building this place before selling it. As I see it today under present management and ownership, it is clearly cash-starved and perhaps on it’s way out. Due to all of the rooms being booked by Bruce Nuclear in better hotels we were left with little choice but to stay at Sutton Park Inn. On the plus side our supper there, although expensive, was well prepared and fresh. The hallways smell of mold, the bathrooms are exceedingly small and in poor repair. The bed and other furnishings have seen better days and the room decor better resembles a cottage.

The hotel is too far from anything in town, so you need to drive anywhere. It is also very very overpriced for what you get. The cleaning of the room is questionable. Bathroom had long dark hair over the bathroom floor and toilet from a previous stay. Also found a dead bug left on the wall. Bathroom is tiny, and there were cobwebs by the shower head... The bed was very big however there wasn't a fitted sheet on the mattress.. just a top sheet which kept moving and revealing the mattress below.. (gross!) which I found very gross and resulted in a poor nights sleep. We didn't trust leaving anything in the back of our truck like bikes, chairs etc as we didn't feel like we could trust the area around the motel. After exploring the town we found lots of other nicer places to stay, so we would never return.…

Our family spends a night Sutton Park Inn and we are enjoying the room, restaurant and service. Mr. Kim is friendly and kind, housekeeper lady is helpful and nice. Plus, Mr. Kim gives us a lot of information on local activities and it's made our trip more interesting.

Simply put, I would not stay there again, even it would be for free. Pros: None. Cons: Everything smells, and even more, they are covering the smell with even stronger smelling chemicals. I was disgusted by the coffee machine in the room, which had an old used coffee filter within. As someone else mentioned, there are not enough power sockets in the room.
