Stayed for 3 nights at the end of August. By far the best place to stay in Kincardine. Fabulous location, close to everything so you can walk everywhere. The Inn itself it pretty and welcoming. The staff were fabulous and beyond accommodating. We stayed in their largest suite on the top floor with a small private balcony. Included a sitting room with tv and fireplace, sleeping area with king size bed and tv, kitchen area with sink, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker and hot plate. It also has cupboards and drawers with everything you need to prepare a meal. The bathroom was huge and well appointed with double sinks, soaking tub and large shower. We plan on visiting again next summer!

Hotel's Favourite
The Inn at the Harbour is a wonderful hotel that has a very friendly atmosphere, super clean, modern rooms and close to restaurants and attractions. The staff are very welcoming and assures all your needs are met. The hotel is extremely well maintained with nicely appointed rooms and very comfortable beds. The complimentary breakfast has a variety of selections that includes juice, coffee, tea cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit and yogurt. There is a comfortable sitting area to eat your breakfast in the lobby area or take your breakfast to your room to enjoy. All rooms have a lovely view of the lake and Harbour. The balcony provides an even better view and is comfortable to sit out when the weather is pleasant. The hotel grounds and area are well maintained and have lovely flowers, shrubs and flower pots The rooms have a small refrigerator, coffee maker, modern and clean bathroom with complimentary soap, shampoo, cream, shower cap and other necessities. The hotel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, Harbour, beach and the lighthouse. We have stayed at the Inn at the Harbour many times over the past seven years. We highly recommend this hotel and will continue to stay there in the future. The Inn at the Harbour makes your stay in Kincardine very enjoyable!

We stayed in a suite with a private balcony. Worth every penny. This place is very clean and well run. My only complaint was how warm our suite was. Asked for a fan and one was delivered right away. The business suite is like a 1 bedroom apartment. Full fridge, sink, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and hot plate. Dishes, cups, mugs and silverware included. There is even a dishwasher. A nice sitting room with television and fireplace, king bedroom with television and one of the best bathrooms we have seen. It also has a tv and is huge. I highly recommend Inn on the Harbour. We will be back.

The hotel location is great but my stay was spoiled by interaction with staff. On the first day I asked about gluten-free bread and learned that it was in the unmarked fridge in the common area. On the second day, I went to get it and the staff member on duty rudely asked "Can I help you?" and ripped the door from my hand to slam it shut. I was astounded at his behavior. I travel for business and have visited over 20 countries with hundreds of hotel stays. I can't remember a staff member being this rude, and certainly never had a physical altercation with an employee at any facility. My stay was ruined, with me thinking of little else while I was on the property. But the owners should be pleased. I never once touched the gluten-free bread after that!

Stayed here as part of a bridal party. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. A 5 star experience from start to finish. If the weather is good, book a room with a balcony. Easy walk to both the waterfront and a pretty downtown area.

I found this hotel by accident when I was randomly looking for somewhere to stay for a mini getaway. And I struck gold the day before we planned to go. We loved everything about this hotel. It was likely one of the coldest weekends. But that didn’t stop me from sitting out on the deck/balcony. While we were in full view of the lake, that view sometimes was obstructed by the snow; so bad they were closing the roads, but obviously no fault of the hotel. I imagine in better weather, the view is spectacular most of the time. This hotel is a gem. All rooms have water views. There are muskoka chairs on the balconies to relax on while you enjoy the view. We were on the third floor in a lovely room. It may have been the time of year but the hotel was very quiet. There were other guests but we barely saw or heard anyone. The bed was comfy. The room was clean and had little extras like a wet bar and microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. The pressure of the water in the shower was unlike a lot of hotels. Often there isn’t much of a water trickle/spray but these showers were wonderful and the bathroom was so nice. The free breakfast blew me away. I expected some toast and dry cereal and not a lot more. This breakfast had so much food, so much variety. There is a small seating area you can eat in but you could also take the food to your room. All of the staff we had any connection with were wonderful. Friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel is in prime location. A couple minutes walk to the beach in one direction. A couple minutes walk to the downtown in the other. Kincardine is one of the typical small towns that have such character and the stores downtown are not your usual chain stores. I am so glad that I stumbled onto this property online. Our recent visit won’t be our last visit. We are planning to come up in the summer and bring family.

We stayed at the Inn at the Harbour for 2 nights mid September, 2021. The inn is located directly across from the lake and the scenic lighthouse. We had room 303 , it was clean and well appointed. The view from the balcony (especially the sunset over lake Huron) was fabulous. The continental breakfast was excellent and followed Covid restrictions very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our mini vacation at the inn.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Nice view of the marina and Lake Huron. Good breakfast that is included. Had room with 2 queen beds. Beds are comfortable. If you want view of the lake do not take room on main floor as I am not sure how can you have nice view, plus electric cars will park by your window. Very nice place. Planning to come back soon

We had the pleasure of staying here over the Labour Day weekend 2021. We were treated so well that we went again Sept 29-Oct 2. We were greeted with a smile and found the staff eager to ensure every need was met. The continental breakfast had lots of variety. Recommendations for restaurants, trails, shopping, and the Sunset Cruise. They supplied contact information for a Fishing Charter! The rooms were exceptionally clean, as were all halls and stairwells.October 1st is my husband's birthday, and upon entering our luxury executive suite, there was a vase of flowers and Sparkling Grape Juice, and two Champagne glasses, just as I requested. Noteable is we were not billed for this. The magnificent sunsets from our balcony were exceptional! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated so wonderfully, they made us feel like we were the only guests in this quaint Inn. We will be back for sure and would encourage you to book with this local business. You won't be disappointed!

This was a wonderful stay and Mark was very helpful answering all our questions. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at the marina. We are already planning a spring visit. We had a wonderful lunch at the Bruce, they make the best Reuben sandwich.
