A well kept fishing lodge with individual rooms with kitchen. Boats and bait available. Fantastic scenery. Hosts Clay and Gerri are very welcoming. This is an older, well kept facility on the shore of lake of The woods. Not suitable for a one night stay. Nearby Kenora has all amenities.

Been happily visiting this lodge for over 25 years! You can’t ask for better or friendly service! Clay and Gerri are outstanding. Beautiful views of the bay and harbour. Comfy accommodations. Gorgeous spot to relax or fish. Highly recommend.

Very basic, very retro. We were glad to find somewhere friendly at 1/4 the price of hotels on one of the busiest summer weekends. The quiet was so relaxing.
This is how it always used to be in the Canadian backwoods. Good for sleeping, kept clean and tidy daily, has all amenities. Rooms sized to a time when people knew how to go outside and make their own entertainment instead of expecting to passively be entertained. Limited cell/internet, no tv, gorgeous view.
Sadly, has some long-term maintenance issues. Lack of roof maintenance has caused water damage.
Must have been incredibly cute back in the day. We were sad that it hasn't been kept up, because it would be cool if it lasted longer. Loved the multi-pane windows (with good screens!), classic appliances and two-person dinette.
Not disability accessible, may trigger allergies during wet weather, not for people who like a shiny washroom and updated amenities. A simple, old-fashioned family-run place for people who want to spend most of their time outside, hiking, fishing or boating, and prefer not to feel like they're going to wreck something by getting outdoors in the lake water, dirt, woods, and rocks.
