Staff at this facility are wonderful. We selected this location as they are pet friendly. Lobby has sofa's, TV, computer and Microwave. Cozy. The rooms are a bit dated, but the view! We were located below grade with walk out to the grass right on Lake Ontario and the Grimsby Marina. We could see the twinkle lights of Toronto across the way. Rooms were not serviced for consecutive nights, but they did remove our trash on request. Beds were comfortable. Roku TV. Fridge + Coffee in room. UberEats delivers as well as a restaurant on site. Although it is right off the QEW I didn't notice the traffic noise in the room. A shipwreck stands nearby and swans frequent the harbor. We had a lovely stay thanks to all staff making it a welcoming experience for our first trip with our dog. We would return as this suits our needs.

There are plenty of 1 star reviews on this property. Some of them are older so I like to give the benefit of the doubt but similar issues were experienced and other issues cropped up as well. I would sooner drive all the way down to Niagara Falls and travel back to Grimsby where we needed to be than stay here again.

Spending time on our balcony was truly thrilling! Incredible food in the gorgeous restaurant. All the staff were super-fab! A real winner! The area has wonderful natural beauty, and nearby St Catherines was a hip place to visit. We are hoping to come back in the future!

This was a great place to stay, loved the little balcony and view. The only disappointment was they didn’t have the History channel, they had some other cable package. I would stay here again. Great place especially for the price.

They closed the pool and never updated their website or third party pages claiming to have an indoor pool in amenities…. Nothing else to do here. And the air conditioners suck and aren’t in the hallways

I would stay again. Great food, great location and amazing views . Came for a bit of a break and ended up venturing to many of the local wineries and restaurants within a short driving distance . Had an amazing time and will return again.

My 81 yr old mom and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to visit family. Overall, the hotel is in desperate need of some updates. The halls are dark and dirty but the guest room was at least clean and the beds were somewhat comfortable. The downside to this hotel is there are no elevators and so if you have a lot of luggage/bags, it is very frustrating having to bring everything in multiple trips. The stairwells are not well marked and they are dirty and smelly. The pool was closed while we were there, which was unfortunate although they did call me the day before our check-in to let us know. (Would have been nice to know before that). A few other minor issues were there were no shelves in the fridge (which made it tricky to keep our food cold), the tv did not work until we had someone fix it, the power went out for 3 hours overnight, which meant we could hear everything in the rooms beside and above us as well as the hallway. We also had an incident with a dog in the room next to us who was out roaming without a leash after dark, who scared both myself and my small dog. We enjoyed our breakfast the 2nd morning but wish it had been included in the room. Overall, not a bad hotel but I don't know if it would be my first choice next time.

The room was dirty . The view was great if you could see through the dead bugs. The floor had dead flies on it and were gritty. We decided not to stay as it just felt gross. Too bad because it was a nicely redone room
