Norseman resort is a good place to come to visit and stay over. It is a very friendly place to stay. It is a little old fashion and the WIFI is very weak!! Their couches are very old I think they should invest in new ones. However, it has a nice cottage feel and the owners are very friendly and...

Thanks for letting people know our resort is a very friendly place and a good place to come. We always enjoy talking to our guests and making them feel welcome. The weather is the weather and we're glad your kids got to make a nice snow person and castles in the snow. The lake is usually frozen over new years...

We stayed for 2 nights with friends and had side by side cottages, The Birch and Cedar. Our wives are not used to "roughing it" but these units were acceptable for them. Basically clean throughout the interior and a little old or well used looking. Beautiful view of the lake through floor to ceiling windows...unfortunately, the big patio door glass...

We've been here a few times in late summer and fall. It is an old-fashioned slice of cottage country, and all the better for it. There are six or seven cottages along the lovely (and usually quiet) lake, and an evening dining restaurant (which is very good). The cottages are not glitzy, have no TVs or Jacuzzis, just homey. Bring...

Very friendly resort with the opportunity to meet other travelers. Close to picturesque town of Huntsville and Algonquin Park. We saw a moose and two Black bears on our trip! The Norsemen on site restaurant is excellent although a little expensive. There were lots of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and even a motor boat to use and included in the...

We stayed in the Acorn Cottage at Walker Lake Resort. Everything in the description of this cottage is true, but much is left out. The deck does have a view of the lake but only has one handrail on the stairs, is uneven, side rails do not have cross-members and is generally in poor condition. The outside of the cottage...

A group of girlfriends and I stayed in the Cedar cabin this past weekend in Huntsville. We were welcomed by Les, the owner and host, who had everything set up for us in the cottage. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen items, towels, linens, etc. and for anything we were missing, the location is very close by to the...

I was so pleased with our stay at the Cedar cottage. It was quaint, well-equipped, and just what we needed. The fact that there was wifi and we could work from the cottage was icing on the cake; perfect for working from nature (we saw coyote, deer and tons of other wildlife!). It was also great to be so close...

We loved our stay at Walker Lake Resort. We've been here before and glad we came again. We stayed in the Acorn cottage again which is cozy and comfortable with a great view of the lake and close to the beach. It is obvious the owners care a lot and work hard to keep the cottages up. There is a...

My husband and I arrived for a 4 night stay, only to find no cars in the parking lot and no one onsite to register with. We walked around the property and were dismayed to find how un-kept and overgrown the grounds were. We had to call the owner to find out where he was and after he arrived we...

We're really sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. As you say, we did clean the carpets as soon as you mentioned it. If we knew it still wasn't satisfactory or that anything else wrong we would have fixed it right away. We did go in after you left and re-clean the carpets and everything else even though we didn't find...
