BLUE WATER ACRES IS ABOUT 2 HOURS DRIVE NORTH OF TORONTO SO IT IS ALL RIGHT TO GO TO FOR LOCAL ONTARIO RESIDENTS BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT IF YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL FAR TO REACH IT. IN OTHER WORDS IT IS NOT A 5 STAR RESORT - MORE LIKE 3 1/2 TO 4 STARS it has a very...

We had a 3 bedroom cottage the first week of April that was well appointed and equipped. While our first day was a warm spring pleasure the remainder of the week was rainy and we even got snow. Thankfully, we were well supplied with books, a 1000 piece puzzle, and lots of TV channels. Be aware that you are going...

Just spent a week at BWA through an Interval International Exchange. Ideal location for winter sports. Skating at Arrowhead Provincial Park, snowshoeing on site and easy access to Muskoka Snow Region Trails. Staff was very accommodating in helping to park trailers as they had so much snow. Very large cabin with all the features for cooking meals after a day...

I have been here many times and took a quick trip up last week to see the fall colors with some friends. It has always been great but over the past few years there has been a great deal of time and effort spent to upgrade things. Our cottage was completely updated - but in a good way - still...

I'm sitting here enjoying the beautiful waterfront views of blue-water acres, after having visited their whirlpool and sauna. I could have enjoyed some paddle boating or canoeing, but with my luck, I'd accidentally end up taking a dip, so I'm sticking to land activities. This place is nice, with some high-quality upgrades, but those upgrades aren't always kept well (heated...

Arrived at 5.30pm on a Friday -an envelope left with keys and directions, no personal welcome. Our cabin was really basic and cold, obviously one of the less well kept cabins. The site has no restaurant so we should have brought food with us. It smelt damp. We decided to leave and found a motel in Huntsville.

We stayed in an older style cottage but there wasn't a thing wrong with it. It was right down on the beach with a lovely deck & view of the lake. Perfect location for hiking in the nearby Algonquin park. I really like that everything you needed was provided free of charge including a gas bbq. Spotlessly clean also.

Our party of five (three adults, two six year old boys) stayed in the Algonquin luxury cabin for two nights in early August, 2016. The place was spotless and very modern. There was every kitchen item you could need, plus a few little touches like laundry detergent, lighters, shampoo, dish soap, etc. We were extremely impressed that our cabin had...

We stayed here for five days and had an amazing time in picture perfect cottage country, having travelled north from Toronto. The weather was perfect so we swam in and kayaked on the lake, sat under an amazing starlit sky around the camp fire and used this as our base for Algonquin. We will be back next year, there is...

Great spot for kids and families. Older cottages are not great but the fractionals are amazing and the playground and beach are hours of fun for kids. I'd give it 5 stars but I don't want others taking my cottage! A lot of fun and GREAT staff!
