We spent one night here whilst making a leisurely journey from Montreal to Ottawa. The hotel is on Highway 17 someway out of Hawkesbury itself. Not that there is much to see or do in Hawkesbury :-)

The room we had was clean and reasonably spacious with a comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was standard for this type of hotel but we didn't use any of the other facilities.

The guy at the front desk was helpful but didn't seem to know much about the area. For example, as we didn't know the area at all, a little more help with finding somewhere to eat in the evening would have been useful.

OK for a one night stop over on a journey to somewhere else.

Very happy with out stay. Beds were amazing. Super soft and fluffy. Room was very clean. Front desk fellow very helpful and brought extra towel and coffee to the room. Shower pressure not super strong but hot. Due to covid pool and hot tub closed which was disappointing. We would stay here again

We were there on Dec 25th for an over nighter. Reception was pleasant and the room was clean, except our sheets had nubs.
I would like to give a shout out to Holly who managed their breakfast lounge. There was a lovely choice of breakfast foods and it was very clean. Holly’s smile left us smiling

The website did a great job at attracting us with its low cost, unfortunately, this place was horrible. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the bed was sort of decently comfortable and the room was at best, cleanish. The entire hotel is FILTHY. We walked down our hall and saw a bag of garbage that sitting there the entire visit. It never got picked up. It was, moved from one side of the hallway to another. You walk in and the first thing you see is a destroyed dirty couch and floor that have never seen a broom or a vacuum, let alone a mop. The carpets are deplorable and the state of the hotel is honestly gross. There was dirt and stains everywhere we looked. The pool is clean however too cold to even swim in and the hot tub is so dirty you cannot see your feet in the water when the jets are on. The floors in the pool are also filthy. I was shocked at how dirty this place was. We were too grossed out to even entertain looking at the complimentary breakfast. It was unfortunately money we will never get back and a sour 12 hours in our trip. To top it off the majority of the guests were unmasked in the hallways. The staff was courteous although we only saw them once during our stay. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Dear Alli thank you for the reviting review , we are sorry you did nt like your stay with us ,yes our couch at the reception has seen better days if you came on april 18 , we had a hockey tournement with kids running around and a wedding party and we tried our best to have all the rooms early if you came during the day and saw garbage bags in the hallway its probably cause the cleaning staff left them there while they clean the rooms or a customer set it aside cause we are still cleaning rooms with covid restrictions ,i am sorry you did nt enjoy your stay with us and since we are in ontario the mask is no longer necessary ,it seem there is nothing you like about this hotel ,we do apolgize and wish you a nice day

I recently stayed at the hotel as it was close to everything I wanted to do and there isn't much choice in ways of hotels in Hawkesbury. The hotel is ok for one night but I would not have wanted to spend any more time there. The room was ok but needs work. The paint was chipping off the wall and the desk chair needs to be replaced and the night table by the bed had not been dusted. There were stains on my bedspread as well as the chair (which I washed off). The bathroom floor under the sink was covered in dirt or mold. I am not sure what was on the floor as I did not want to get any closer than I had too but it definitely had not been cleaned for months. The fan in the bath was broken so taking a shower really steamed up the bathroom.
The hotel owner needs to invest in to some paint and updating some of the furniture as well as ensuring that every room is cleaned before guests are allowed in.
On a positive side, the employees were very friendly and welcoming and the small breakfast buffet was very reasonable.

This motel is dirty and smelly with mildew in grout and calking. The uncleanliness is alarming. I had to go out and buy sanitizing wipes before I would use the bathroom. I cleaned all surfaces we would touch. The odor of mildew and who knows what else is overwhelming. The bathroom lighting is very dim so hard to do makeup. The airconditioner had a terrible rattle that only stopped if I put a pillow over one end to ease the vibration.
The linens seemed clean and the pillows were good. The wifi would not work.
There is not much to choose from in this area. I would advice driving further and finding something else.

Dirty and dilapidated. A dirty shower, plaster patches, broken frames and lamps. Go on your way. Even if we report the shortcomings to the "manager", nothing changes. One positive point, the bed was clean.

Great place mid way to Montreal. Freindly people, now my husband would like to point out the lady in the front (Sonia) was complaining about the staff and management to a few of your clients. She even said she could run the place better. My husband told he she was onprofessionnal and he would put a complaint in.

I stayed at this location with 3 other people for a concert in Montebello, Quebec from June 19-23. We arrived very late and went right to bed the first night. The second day, we left the hotel at 11am to head to the concert. When we returned that night at about 3am, we were left a hand written note stating we were charged $150 for smoking in our room. This was not the case and the next day we woke up, went directly to the concert and arrived around 1am to find that the hotel locked us out of our room. We spoke with the reception and were told we were being accused of smoking again in the room. I explained to the front desk that we are out all day from morning to night at a concert and we have no reason to be smoking in the room. I then asked the hotel staff to come to our room and verify for themselves that we did not smoke and the smoke they were smelling is off of our clothing because half our entourage are smokers. Furthermore, I am allergic to cigarette smoke and would not have my friends smoking in a non-smoking room...especially because I do not smoke and do not want to be charged a fine for smoking in the room. I was told by the hotel that the smell alone gives them the right to charge us $150. They said they do not have to prove that we actually smoked in the room. They said they only need to smell smoke in order to charge us. This is disgusting and ruined our trip/weekend and we will never be staying at a Best Western AGAIN! They couldn't even clean our room or provide us with new towels, toiletries etc. It was just disgusting the way we were treated and discriminated against. I feel as though they felt that because we were concert goers, that they could treat us with prejudice and accuse us of smoking. The hotel refused to even comp us for the hassles and refused to refund us the bogus $150 charge. They even refused to provide a receipt for the stay as they claimed the printer was broken. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told that the police will get involved if we did not leave the hotel premises. Is this how they were told to treat their guests? NEVER AGAIN!

I wish I could put a zero. Here is why: After having several mistakes with my parents and my guests reservations (I am not counting the fact that the hotel was sold and no reservations were transferred because I am aware that is not their fault) and some staff being rude to us, my parents and my guests several times over the past 6 months, we received two hall rentals for free. We were still upset but we were willing to let things go. We decided to only deal with Andree-Ann as she corrected all the mistakes and confirmed everything with us. We come in on friday and Andree-Ann helped us find our rooms and confirmed everything again. I was planning on putting 5 stars in the morning because she was so great but dinner came along that night and they made 3 of my guests sick and almost killed a fourth. (We had made arrangements for 8 dinners out of 30 to be allergy specific. The meals were made properly but the serving staff gave them to the wrong people. The whole table heard the guests asking if it was gluten free and the staff said yes for 3 of them and another table asked about tree nuts because he's highly allergic, the staff left, came back said no there's no tree nuts in there, left again, came back after he already took a bite and said "oh, sorry, there's actually walnuts in there" Thank god the bite he had didn't have any in there or else we would've had to use an epi-pen and go to the hospital.) The gluten free guests weres the groom's brother, his girlfriend (which threw up a half hour after eating her meal) and the groom's uncle. After this, we weren't sure if they would be able to attend the wedding. We also ordered a cold lunch for the weding day and we received rotten strawberries and pineaples. (we grabbed a picture) We asked for the 4 meals to be free and for the tip to be removed from the friday dinner and the fruit tray to be removed from the cold lunch but the staff/supervisor said no and said we were already compensated enough. I guess people's health and lives along with their weddings and hapiness are only worth about 200$. They also charged my mom's credit card without her permission after she asked to wait until she spoke to a manager. We also found out that the elevators were locked and the staff refused to let our guests use them. We had a mother of four with a stroller, a 67 year old man with back prolems lifting luggage and a 7 month pregnant lady that were all told couldn't use the elevator. The last thing I will mention Is that my room and my parent's room were spotless but the parents of four had blood in their sheets and pubes in their bathtub that they only noticed on saturday morning. They said they didn't want to ruin my wedding so they just cleaned up the washrom themselves and asked for fresh sheets but this is unsanitary and unacceptable. The staff at quality in in hawkesbury almost ruined my wedding. There were 2 staff that were really nice and went above and beyond (Andree-Ann and a black haired lady who had to give us our bill after our terrible dinner and said she would help us but only a manager could do anything about it and she told me to deal with it after the wedding so it wouldn't ruin my day. she stayed a bit to chat and make sure I was okay and was very nice.) but there was also a lady at the front desk who made a snarky comment after she heard me say to my mom that we keep getting bad service at the quality inn. I approached her asking her to re-peat hoping i misheard and she changed her tone right away and started making excuses and even asked me if I wanted to change hotels. When I asked her to stop but she kept going so I walked away and said I didn't have time for this I needed to get ready for my wedding. My mom even asked for a manager and she said in a threatening tone that she would talk to him first. My husband works in a hotel and so did a few of my guests and they are the ones who are telling me to get compensation. They cannot believe the hotel staff and how they are representing this hotel. Neither can I. I had 20 different people hired and they were the only ones to make me mad and made my guests sick. I felt like I had to apologize for their lack of respect and professionalism. I along with my entire bridal party have told at least a hundred people about the bad service.
