We visited Craigleith Manor for a weekend my wife's birthday, combining a couple of days away with a visit to the Scandinave Spa. This is an excellent spa, a couple of minutes from Craigleith. The spa was arranged as part of a package through the B&B. The B&B is excellent. The rooms and the beds are great, with views out over the garden and the woods beyond. The Georgian Trail is right at the end of the garden for hiking/bicycling/cross-country skiing. The breakfasts are great. Tea and coffee are available at any time. Netflix is available and there is an electric car charging port.
The pride and care that Guy and Craig have put into their B&B is immediately evident. Whether it is the choice of linens on the bed or the amazing range of daily breakfast options (all painstakingly prepared from scratch!) it is clear that every detail has been very carefully considered. These gentlemen have been doing this for years and the level of polish shines through. To make the weekend a real getaway, my wife and I took advantage of the Scandinave Spa Weekend package offered by Guy and Craig which made getting the ever-elusive weekend tickets to the spa a breeze. We'd highly recommend. Overall an outstanding stay at Craigleith Manor Bed and Breakfast and we can't wait to return!
The hospitality standards far exceeded both of our expectations. They took care of booking our wine tasting and spa day for us which they recommended and both amazing experiences. The breakfast was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had and the service was spot on. You can taste the difference of local farm fresh quality ingredients. You could tell there was so much thought put into the details and quality of the manor. The backyard backs onto the Georgian Trail which was a lovely walk with stunning scenery. We both had a great sleep with soft clean linens and a comfortable supportive bed. They even had some luxurious extra comforts like heated bathroom flooring and access to a stalked complimentary drink fridge. Great value for money we will definitely be back and I would highly recommend to others :)…
We had a couples weekend for my spouses' 50th birthday and Guy and Craig were stellar hosts! They provided a warm, welcoming environment filled with special stay support (birthday balloons, roses), incredible breakfasts made fresh by Guy and assistance with booking events around Collingwood area. We would definitely return in the future! Thanks again to you both!
Our first time visiting Collingwood was made very memorable by our experience at the Craigleith Manor. We were greeted by Guy upon our arrival where he gave us a tour and made us feel very welcome. The Manor is beautiful and modern, yet very comfortable to spend time in the main living areas. Their list of favourite restaurants in the area made a huge difference for us, as each spot we tried exceeded our expectations. The daily breakfast menus are a unique touch that we enjoyed, getting to choose from the delicious options available the next day. The breakfasts prepared by Guy are exceptional! We would definitely return again and try another one of the unique suites. We highly recommend The Craigleith Manor!
We had a fabulous stay at the Craigleith Manor. Everything is very modern and clean. We had superb breakfasts prepared by Chef Guy. We enjoy walking trails and the Georgian Trail is right out the back door. The living room was beautifully decorated but very comfortable for reading or visiting with other guests. Guy and Craig supplied us with an excellent list of their favourite restaurants in the Collingwood/ Blue Mountain area. It was convenient that they booked the Scandinave Spa for us. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Larry and Nancy
The host is very informative of things to do and places to eat. The property is well maintained and house is very clean and up to date. House is in a very nice neighborhood. Beds are very comfortable . A walking trail is right behind the house so easy access. Shopping and restaurants are within a few miles. Would recommend.
Excellent accommodation, very clean - which was important to our stay. It is a perfect place to relax and get away to unwind. It is steps away from nature and a short drive to downtown Collingwood, with many things to see and do within a short distance. Our hosts were very accommodating and served an excellent breakfast, also helpful in finding dining locations and local activities! Nicely furnished rooms and common areas to relax in, including a beautiful backyard with access to trails. Would definitely recommend this B&B. It was really great to see that what was promised when we booked was actually what we found in reality! Thanks for the great stay and the hospitality.
We found the Manor thur a stay and play with Duntroon Golf course. Did we pick the right place ... YES! The setting is wonderful, surrounded by trees, front garden in all its fall splendor, WOW. The house is stunning, from entrance with the stained glass to the view from the living room. Our chosen room was the mountain room. It had a patio built for two, over looking the back yard with the mountains in the distance. The room itself is decorated perfectly, we were very comfortable . Our host was lovely, when he found out we had never been to the area gave us a list of local restaurants to discouver. That made our day. The breakfast part of our stay was truly amazing. Every night we got to pickn our breakfast choices. Made to order eggs and parfaits were the order of the day. My husband was stuffed. thank-you again for making our time away so very very nice…
My wife and I had the most glorious fall weekend stay at the Craigleith Manor. From the initial phone call when booking on the phone until the end of our stay, we were treated with kindness and amazing service! Our room was very comfortable and the morning breakfasts were absolutely wonderful! We really liked the relaxed feel throughout the manor especially when sitting in the big comfy chairs on the main floor while enjoying a cup of tea. Definitely the best Bed and Breakfast that we've experienced. Carla and Paul
