Charming, lovely home -- charming, lovely hosts -- incredibly wonderful breakfast. Lest you feel the time era isn't truly comfortable, the central air will soothe your summer soul. You usually expect something special at a B&B for that morning meal, but this will exceed your hopes and dreams. Antja knocked our socks off and Rick was unobtrusively there whenever our... More

This is, I believe, the only B & B in Chatham. It is a quaint, large house with an old world feel to it. This is from the furniture, the design and even a window transom over the door. It is conveniently located, a five to ten minute walk to downtown King Street. The breakfast was excellent, including delicious, locally... More

Not only is this place absolutely gorgeous but it has a very great feel to it. Doesn't feel like you're staying at a hotel. Feels very home-like and comfortable. The furniture is great and exploring the property makes you really appreciate the time period.

The home is filled with beautiful antiques; every corner is a feast for the eyes. The breakfast was a culinary delight. Rick and Antja are wonderful hosts. I stayed in the Hunt room. The bed was very comfortable; the ensuite bathroom was spacious and modern. High speed internet was available. Every evening, I arrived "home" to find a bottle of water,... More

This epitomizes what a B & B should be. It is a beautifully authentic period home with all of the woodwork and stained glass you would expect. The owners are charming, friendly and accommodating while still providing you with as much privacy as you desire. It is a five minute leisurely walk to downtown, (there isn't a whole lot to... More

We're repeat guests. The owners are very accommodating and friendly . The home is spotless and in a good location. You'll find chilled water on ice and a snack in your room upon arrival. Breakfast was very good and the owners were able to arrange an early sitting so we could leave early. We'll always stay here when in Chatham.

My wife and I stayed here for a quiet evening after a week of business in Toronto. We found this B&B to be outstanding. The entire house was spotless and well decorated with antique charm. We arrived earlier than expected but were greeted warmly, given a tour of the house, and shown to our room. Snacks of pastries and bottled... More

From the quiet location near the centre, the Victorian atmosphere, to the gracious and helpful hosts this was one of the best B&Bs we've encountered in our global travels. The Hunt Room was large, spotless and well equipped. During our four night stay we enjoyed varied and satisfying breakfasts made with fresh local ingredients. Complimentary water and baked goodies in... More

On our road tour through southern Ontario, we stopped at this 1896 Victorian landmark B &B, and it was just wonderful! We stayed in the Backstage Room, the largest bedroom, that featured a chiropractic mattress on the 4-poster bed, a Jacuzzi tub/shower with a sky-light, and a north-side view of the Duchess' gardens below. The original features of house were... More
