The room was booked through booking.com No one was in the office (lights out/front locked) which was only 15 minutes after I booked. When someone came I was told my booking was no good, wanted to charge me again for the room and charge more than booking.com. Then although there were two of us and we booked two beds they only gave us one towel and washcloth. Next, went into the room and by the bed was a gigantic cobweb with spider which went from ceiling all the way down to the floor and quite wide...also another spider on the ceiling directly over bed. They forgot to give the Wi-Fi password so had to call and after person gave us password they said don't call me anymore I'm going to bed. after that we started to move around the room trying to get the TV and password going. When in bed realized there was only a top sheet draped over the mattress with no top sheet in between the blanket covering bedding. The covering blanketing consisted of one very thin acrylic summer blanket. The room was very cold and when I went to turn the thermostat up to get the heat going nothing happened, it had been disconnected. When I talk to them the next day about how I was not happy with the room because of the issues and the heat not being available they said they kept the rooms at 14 and it wasn't that cold and didn't want to hear my complaint. Then said why didn't you call to tell me and I said I did and I was told not to call back so I didn't. Then they said that was my fault. Basically I paid for a room for two people that was less comfortable and warm than if I'd have stayed in my vehicle...I would have slept better in my vehicle. Totally unconcerned just money grabbers and not very honourable. Would never stay there again and do not recommend.

What to expect for Cad$50 / night?
Room was outdated but clean and with good internet.
Smelled a bit like bug repellent, which did not intimidate my uninvited guest, the mosquito. By the way, no bites to report.
Got more than I expected for the money.
You'll survive the night.

Dump. Plumbing didn't work properly, holes in the walls, next to nothing for continental breakfast..... The manager did refund a little bit of money. It was close to where we needed to be and the bed was relatively comfortable.

Very good reasonable rates, great staff, who are always available to accommodate. Very safe and quiet setting. I give 5/5

The room smelled so bad we could barely breathe. Had to purchase spray to try to cover it and that didn't help at all. Felt like we were suffocating in the stench.
Toilet got clogged and the cheap plunger broke. They said we'd have to fix it. Went out and bought a plunger and when we got back it was fixed and we were charged half the price of the "plumber" that allegedly came to fix it.
Would never ever stay there again. The smell was in our clothes and hair. Could smell it faintly in the car for weeks.
