Welcomed by the 1000 Islands B and B hosts, we were quickly provided with a review of both the amenities and the safety measures in place and available within this charmingly renovated, yet authentic historic Victorian home. The room we were provided was spacious, the ensuite bathroom facilities generous, and a walk-in closet suggesting one could easily adopt this welcoming place as a 'home away from home'. Highlights included the exceedingly comfortable kingsize bed, overall spotless cleanliness, the delicious and fresh breakfasts offered each morning, the 24/7 tea/coffee bar, poolside lounging, outdoor fireside visits after sunset in the autumn beauty of mature trees and landscaping, and the large interior relaxation room, equipped with not one, but two piano/keyboards, games, and reading materials. Hosts demonstrated a commitment to prevention of transmission of the Covid-19 virus with hand-sterilization dispensers throughout the home, and physical-distancing practices noted during orientation, and breakfast seating arrangements. The hosts served as excellent resources of anecdotal information regarding Brockville and surrounds, and readily facilitated optimizing our time in their town, which all began with selecting this centrally located Bed and Breakfast!

The 1000 Islands B and B is a high-end facility in an historic Victorian home built in 1864. There are normally 5 rooms but, because of covid-19, only 3 are rented at present. Our room, a Queen, had a very comfortable bed, very good lighting, a fridge, A/C and an amazing bathroom with a jacuzzi. No stone was left unturned in providing comforts and necessities. Our hosts, Siobhan and Maciej, were warm, friendly and super accommodating. They even left flowers and balloons in our room for our anniversary. There is a comfortable large room in which to relax, play games, read or chat, a heated outdoor pool, limited parking and lovely garden spaces in which to relax. The Band B is a short drive, or easy walk, to downtown restaurants and shops and the harbour. Breakfast is included and are deliciously prepared and fresh. There is a selection of tea and an espresso bar 24/7. This is a perfect escape and highly recommended!

Spent a super two nights here, great breakfasts, central location, friendly hosts. Loved the pool. A very safe and clean place to stay. The pool was a great bonus, with plenty of beach towels. The hosts knew the area well, gave good restaurant recommendations. The house has lots of old fashioned charm, with all the modern conveniences. Highly recommend.
