Our group of three had two rooms for three nights. Both rooms were modern, clean, very spacious and posh, with all amenities including a two burner stove top and microwave. The shower/tubs are simply gorgeous. We were surprised to find such elegant architecture in a hotel. We were there on business, but would return just for a mini vacay. There is a microbrewery half a block away and the St. Lawrence River is one block away. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
The pre-arrival communications were excellent. Arrival went smoothly. The room (The Treasury) was one of the best rooms We have stayed, whether in New York City, Washington DC or elsewhere. The interior architecture was superbly done. The room was so well-equipped that we only wished we could have been there for more than one night.
This is an amazing hotel. From its decor, layout and location to it’s extremely comfortable bed and personalized service… everything was top notch, 5 star plus! It could use better signage, as arriving in the dark was a bit confusing.
The “Vault” at the Rob Thompson was beautifully designed, constructed and laid out - with attention paid to every fine detail from the double-sided fireplace, Le Creuset coffee press and milk & cream stocked in the fridge. Definitely recommend, and can’t wait to book another couples getaway.
This place was spectacular. It was very quiet and comfortable. The room met our expectation and it was quite a romantic stay. The complimentary snacks were more than enough and that was just amazing to see. The process of getting in with a code when there’s no front desk was seamless. It’s a perfect get away spot if you need some time away from a busy lifestyle or environment. This might be the only place I stay whenever I visit Brockville. Thank you for everything.
This is more like condo living or an Air BNB than a hotel... there are only 7 suites in the building... loved the code access for outside doors as well as room door... our room was so inviting that 3 of our 5 mornings we didn't leave our room until late afternoon! Heated floors, remote operated blinds & fireplace...I want that same flooring and shower in my house! We stayed in the Steampunk Room which I think is one of the smaller rooms in comparison, but it was plenty spacious and had everything we needed!! Definately recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the Nest suite after experiencing the awesome fall colors driving along the 1000 islands parkway. A friend couple, who live nearby, joined us in our suite for home made cocktails and snacks before a great dinner at the brewery across the street. All four of us returned to our Nest for nightcaps and more comradarerie. Memorable times were had by all.
Just amazing. comfortable and well well crafted rooms. wonderful design and history on display. Everything is top notch. Lots of extra free snacks. The exposed stone and location is great. This place used to be an old bank so an actual vault is still in the hotel.
We stayed in the Steampunk Room, beautifully designed with top-notch finishes, felt luxurious. It is a hotel, but the self-checkin is similar to an AirBnB, quick & easy with a code provided ahead of time. In an old bank building that is wonderfully renovated, on the corner of the main street and the courthouse avenue with fountain and beautiful landscaping. Amenities were excellent; coffee, teas, snacks, robes, and Netflix/Amazon Video. Room was very quiet. Only downside was the elevator wasn’t working so carried bags up a couple flights of stairs, but the stairs are wide with easy access. Lots of restaurants, bars & shops in the area. Beautiful riverfront area. Would visit here again!
48 King West was the first stop in our staycation. This I think was our 5th trip this year and it never disappoints. Suites are beautifully appointed. Every little detail to make your stay special is thought of. Close to everything. Staff is so helpful. Parking is right outside your door. My review would be "slightly more than perfection".
