This was my third time staying in the hotel and I have an amazing experience each time. Every room is different, but equally beautiful. During my time, I stayed in the Steampunk, the Nest and the Vault. The Steampunk room was super cozy, but with the high ceilings still felt very spacious and luxurious. The Nest was perfect for a fun night with friends with two floors, a bed on the second floor, and a comfy pullout couch on the main floor. Both floors with their own TVs and bathrooms. The Vault was definitely the most luxurious of the rooms I stayed in with a hot tub included on the deck and its own access to the parking lot.

Every room included a complimentary beer in the fridge from a local brewery only a short walk from the hotel, Netflix on the smart TV, a remote controlling everything from the lights, the blinds, and the fireplace, coffee and tea, and more.

On top of everything, the contactless entry and cleanliness made it a safe getaway in the middle of the pandemic. Can't way to come back.

I was working in the Brockville area for six weeks and was thrilled to have such an amazing home away from home. As others have said, the amenities are luxurious and check in is seamless. I love old buidlings, and the Rob Thompson group have preserved this old bank building while completely modernizing it. I stayed in the Metro, and it was so helpful to have a cooktop, microwave and mini fridge along with dishes, kitchen linens, utensils etc. Bed and bath linens were high quality - plenty of towels etc. Could have stayed in that luxurious shower all day, but did have to go to work at some point! Anything I asked for or questions I had (extra hangers since I was there for six weeks), how to work the fan remote (duh!) or when the cable didn't seem to work on one of the two large TVs was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Jen and the staff. The additional touches like pre-measured coffee for the provided French press, a selection of teas, a lovely basket of assorted snacks and full bottles of shower products were so appreciated. My two daughters and my grandson came for a weekend visit and they stayed in The Steampunk which was equally impressive. This work assignment was a bit stressful so having this oasis to come "home" to was really wonderful. The location is right in the old downtown of Brockville, so many beautiful historical homes and buildings in the area and a five minute walk from the river with its gorgeous parks and walking paths. Parking is free and right at the back of the building. Unqualified recommendation of this gorgeous hotel.

What an amazing boutique hotel. From the moment we enter the building we were amazed at the details and cleanliness of the place. Our suite, the Wall was beautiful and had everything you could need. Lots of bottled water, snacks; kitchen well stocked, toiletries, comfortable bed... the Wall has bunk beds for kids so a family of 4 would be very comfortable, we were just two. The look of the suite is a combination of old and new. The stone and brick wall the high ceilings the beams give it the feel of what the original bank must of looked like. The high windows made it very bright and inviting and the bathrooms, kitchen, soaker tub and fireplace give it the new modern look.
We will definitely be back and are hoping to explore some of the other suites. Almost forgot to mention the location which is perfect. Very short walk to the Brockville Railway Tunnel, a must visit location. 2 min walk to the St.Lawrence River and many walking and bike trails. Shopping is right outside the front door.
You will not regret choosing this hotel for your stay in Brockville!,,
Thank you Rob Thompson for creating this beautiful place for people to enjoy. Next stop Kemptville!!

We have 3 teenagers at home, which means we get absolutely no time to ourselves and we decided to treat ourselves to a one-night getaway and rented The Holt Suite. It was absolutely wonderful. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about it. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The tub was HUGE and easily fit the both of us, and was an heavenly way to relax. There were tons of towels. The heated floors were a great luxury touch. And the room is just beautiful.

As others have mentioned, there was a little basket of snacks and some chocolates, coffee, tea, and a complimentary beer, as well as the $25 gift certificate for local businesses. The gift certificate was pretty much useless to us, as we had to check out at 11 am on Sunday morning and nothing was open. We didn't care, as we hadn't gone to shop anyway.

The room certainly wasn't cheap, but the attention to detail in every respect and all the little luxurious made it worth the money. I hated leaving, and will definitely be back.

An amazing weekend getaway at the Rob Thompson Hotel in Brockville! We stayed in "The Vault" suite, which had it's very own private deck with a 2 person hot tub, an indoor/outdoor fire place, and a really neat 2nd-floor loft bathroom with a large glass shower.

The suite was stocked with everything we needed: cutlery, dishware, glassware, complimentary coffees and teas, and snacks. Additionally, there were a few great spots to visit within short walking distance, including the Aquatarium that we were not aware of! 1000 Islands Brewery was a great stop for beer flights and Jon's restaurant for some yummy breakfast grub.

Would 100% stay here again, but will check out one of the other cool suites next time! Thanks RTH

We stayed in the Vault room and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The space was very cool and well designed, with thoughtful touches. The pictures online didn't do it justice. It was beautiful.

The Vault room has a private hot tub which was also lovely and the patio itself was well set up with patio lights and a loveseat and table.

The snacks and amenities in the room were top quality and above what we expected.

The location was, of course, lovely and a short walk everywhere in Brockville.

In this time of covid we found the contactless entry to be quite convenient and safe, and the room itself was very clean.

We had a lovely and romantic stay.

This hotel is noted as luxury, but it isn't. It is unique tho, and I would recommend.
Suite was large, and comfortable.
It is walking distance to most attractions. The downtown core of Brockville is sadly quite dead, but still beautiful.
Kitchenette was well stocked. Wifi worked well, air-conditioning excellent downstairs. Fireplace was not turned on. Many clickers which were a tad confusing. Tv (2) worked well. Despite being located on the five corners, privacy could be maintained with the use of electric blinds. Noise wasn't bothersome during day, but cars with cut off mufflers, jacked up Honda's and pick up trucks, ran the route for hours, then eventually died down. Bar's were not bothersome. Chirping sidewalk lights not bothersome. Excellent idea for the mat inside the unit front door
Unit was tastefully decorated, blending the old with the new. Leather sofas were wonderful. Bathroom was efficient, shower large, lighting good. Bathrobes for use.Towels white and good thickness. Hairdryer, soaps, bathmat included.
Bedroom sheets white, pillows good, and bed was very good. I would suggest the "European adoption" of duvet use, really needs a larger sheet to double turn it at the top of duvet. Sound machine, and radio and lighting all good. Unknown reason why dehumidifier was in use in bedroom, but we emptied daily and kept it running during day. Only complaint of loft bedroom was the heat, which was resolved by switching the ceiling fan in opposite direction with a slightly higher speed.
Hallways clean and quiet, art work nice. Sanitizer at entrance door. Parking lot large and close to back door. Electronic locks worked well.
I would suggest booklet in units to explain the history of the Bank, and what you see outside the beautiful huge windows.
Very clean!
Suggestions : a few hangers, work lamp near table at window, extra toilet paper, daily garbage pickup.

We booked the whole hotel as part of a covid friendly wedding in Brockville. Both the town and the hotel made for a fantastic experience. We were blown away by the first class atmosphere in all the rooms. Each room was unique and the attention to detail and the amenities stellar. Fully stocked kitchenettes, drinks and snacks and a $25.00 voucher to be spent in downtown businesses. The Vault was perfect for the newlyweds and the rest of the rooms housed the family members and everyone felt special. The hotel location was perfect. Right in the heart of Brockville. We walked to Town Hall for the service, got wedding shots in the Tunnel, also in the park along the river then back to Cosies for an awesome high tea, (located conveniently across the street from the hotel). Dinner at The Mill was outstanding! Also located within walking distance of the hotel. Best hotel for all your needs. Brockville and 44 West by Rob Thompson rocks! Well worth the drive, well worth the stay. We will be back and highly recommend this hotel and the Brockville experience

We live in Brockville, but wanted to do something special to celebrate our 10th anniversary and stayed in the "Holt" suite at 48 King West. So, so amazing! We have travelled quite a lot and have stayed at some very nice hotels... but we would say this place was probably the very nicest we have ever stayed in. We so appreciate how the lovely brick and stone of the original historic building was integrated into the room. And every amenity possible was available to us... kitchenette, bottled water, snacks, a gift certificate that could be used at a local restaurant for breakfast... even a can of locally brewed beer! Very, very positive experience!

I'm currently residing at 48 King West and I cannot write a proper review with words because this place took them right out of my mouth the moment I stepped through the door. Rob Thompson Hotels really knocked it out of the park with this one and I guarantee you will not find another place in Brockville or the surrounding area as nice as 48 King West. Excellent service and the rooms are beyond amazing. 11/10 would recommend
