Recently stayed in the very large 2 bedroom suite, 'The Senator Suite'. First the good, it is really really large. 2 bedrooms, the fist is gigantic and includes a large sitting area and a fireplace and it overlooks the street. The 2nd is in the back of the suite and is an addition onto the old building. It boasts a queen bed as well. The kitchen is more than adequate and offers a full size stove, fridge & dishwasher. There is also a large living room that has a TV, large dinning room table and 2 sofas, the larger of which makes into a queen size bed. Unfortunately the bathroom which is off the living room does not meet the same standards as the rest of the suite and could benefit from being renovated. Additionally the paint in the suite has become tired and needs to be freshened up. All in All it is a lover suite that is bigger than same apartments or condos and you will absolutely be comfortable staying here for either a short or long term stay.

Let’s get the bad items done first: 1) the entry procedure was not seamless. There was an email noting if your credit card passed muster three to five days out you would get a four digit entry code. I had to email as the code was not forthcoming. I then received the entry code a second time and for good measure a third time...on departure day. I’ve walked into some of the finest hotels in the world for a lot less work 2) an opaque portion on the upper back door was falling away, impacting privacy 3) the shower is compact, a very tight fit for any large man or woman 4) the back stairs are looking tired and could use at least a coat of paint or varnish 5) there was no human interaction at any stage. Not sure if I am a fan of the hotel’s Brave New World style of doing things and 6) is it a hotel or not? The materials suggest it is a grand hotel but the binder suggests it is an apartment. There were many good points: 1) if it was an apartment, it was all-inclusive, right down to a corkscrew and ice cube trays 2) the Keurig coffee machine was great 3) the outdoor BBQ area could be put to good use 4) the bed sheets were decadent 5) the wifi was strong 6) there was a very good binder re local things to do along with restaurant recommendations/directions 7) the side door to room 101, the Judge’s Chamber, added a dimension of privacy, some units having outside decks 8) many furnishings had a nice back in time feel about them 9) there is onsite parking and 10) it is well situated for touring Brockville's main sites of interest.. I am sure there are tourists who would readily give 5 stars. That designation, however, would be reserved by travelers for properties with a more flawless sense about them.

This suite is far from "luxurious". Upon entry we were greeted by stained carpet and beverage spills down the hallway wall. The suite was extremely dirty with cobwebs, dust and dead bugs in evidence throughout. There were many electrical deficiencies including missing or burnt out light bulbs in light fixtures and frayed or nicked extension and lamp cords. There was a partially melted purple crayon on top of one of the baseboard heaters. The kitchen range top was very marred and in need of replacement. Both bathroom and kitchen sinks drained very slowly. Baseboards were very dusty and in need of repairing/repainting. The stairs to the loft bedroom were very steep and narrow - not recommended for those with bad knees! Under piles of winter bedding on the floor of the bedroom armoire was a mousetrap! (fortunately NOT containing a corpse!). I cannot comment on any of the other suites in this hotel. However, I fail to see how the Canadiana suite merits the 2020 Trip Advisor Travelers' Choice Award. I believe the proprietor is resting on his laurels.

The Noble Suites are an awesome place to stay. All rooms are decorated as they would have been when this grand old house was in its heyday, perhaps in the early 1900s. We had a group staying here and rented multiple rooms. All were clean with comfortable beds. The kitchens, available in every room, contain everything needed to cook a complete meal for a large group. Everyone in our group was thrilled with the stay. It was an experience to remember.

Brockville is quite a pleasant community, especially down by the water. The effects of COVID-19 are clear (abandoned businesses, few tourists), but the Noble Suites are a restful getaway from the ever present anxiety of bustling malls and grocery stores. The suites are delightfully quirky and always reliably clean and bright. Restaurants and shops are close by and everyone is masked and respectfully distanced. We will definitely return (again).

Loved the set up of this location. Accessing the building was easy.. There is no reception but all details are sent to you prior to arrival. This helps limit the number of people you need to see on your visit. My room, The parlour, was situated just inside the front door - but to be honest while I heard people entering the building it was not excessively noisy.
The room was gorgeous. I was really only an hour away but felt like I was a world away. The room has everythign you need including bathroom - kitchen - fireplace and bed of course. Have the kitchen there was a great option. Location is amazing. A block away from the water and a block away from the historic area shops. I parked my car for the weekend and just walked around . Fantastic Don's Fish n chips is only a block away also. An excellent choice if that is somehting that you enjoy. I have booked to return again in March and Highly recommend it to you all!

Room Tip: Second floor might be quieter.. The building is older so you do hear street noise.

We booked the Senator's suite. Sumptuous surroundings, comfortable and spacious.

Fully equipped, just needed to stock the fridge for a restful couple of days (especially if you take milk or cream with your tea/coffee!).

Close proximity to Brockville's waterfront and restaurants.

Quiet, old world charm, ample (free) parking!

We've stayed here a few times and we'll continue to experience the various suites proposed by the owner.

Noble Suites is an historic limestone house well situated between the main street (Hwy 2) and the waterfront park.

We stayed in the Garden Suite which has a convenient entry from the parking lot as well as through the main front entrance

This is a beautifully furnished and comfortable suite, with full kitchen. There is a separate bedroom.

It is quite quiet except for a couple of cars which persisted in driving with very noisy mufflers around and around the blocks beside the house for hours at night, but that has nothing to do with the establishment.

I would definitely recommend this fine Inn for any individual or couple

We spent the afternoon in 1000 Islands doing Treetop Trekking and thought it would be nice to spend the night in Brockville. This hotel was chosen due to the terrific location - everything was completely walkable, many restaurants, along the water and the railway tunnel.

The hotel was wonderful, had everything we needed and we also really enjoyed the outdoor space to sit and relax with a drink at the end of the day. We would happily spend another night or two here!
